WOW! What a breath of fresh air. This place was just what I needed today, the sermon spoke directly to my heart and reflected EXACTLY where I am in my walk with Jesus. The grounds were breathtaking and the people were friendly enough (i am typically standoff-ish so no judgement on them). In fact I appreciate them not being overly friendly and risk making me uncomfortable. I love the amount of structure they have put into their collective efforts within this building and I feel that it is an adequate reflection of the values of a truly Bible believing church. Its enough structure without being "legalistic". I saw some rather one sides one star reviews of this place and am glad I had the opportunity to come and see for myself and form my own opinion. I have been formally rebuked in my hometown and by the local churches in that area and today was my first time in a new church in a new community and though I was absolutely nervous showing up (and had to fight with myself to stay) I am glad I did. Men's bible study is awesome! It starts with a pot luck meal, then the scripture lesson for the week followed by small group discussion on the topical scripture questions. I've learned so much this past year and have really enjoyed my small group discussion. Our leader Jeff is fantastic. I would give this my highest recommendation for spiritual growth and fellowship. It's honestly hard to write this, but people need to know what kind of leadership they are trusting here. You go to church expecting the staff to have some moral integrity, but the culture at this place feels completely broken. I was there for the Friday night Steadfast service on May 15th, and it was one of the most uncomfortable things I've ever sat through. One of the staff pastors actually stood up in front of the whole congregation and read a resignation letter out loud, publicly announcing a massive adultery scandal. You would think a failure like that would force a serious cleanup. Instead, the rest of the senior leadership is still sitting comfortably in their positions like nothing happened. There has been zero real accountability or effort to fix the underlying issues from the top down. If you care about transparency and want a church where the leaders actually hold themselves accountable, I would definitely keep looking. read more

I attended the Friday night Steadfast service on May 15th, where an adultery scandal was publicly announced to the congregation alongside a pastor's resignation. That specific service is actually no longer offered as a direct result of his resignation. Witnessing this institutional failure firsthand was deeply disappointing, but what is even more concerning is how the church has handled the aftermath. Despite everything that was shared with the congregation that night, the remaining senior leadership is still in place and nothing meaningful has been done to address the situation or restore trust. A church should provide an ethical environment guided by moral integrity, but the current culture feels entirely unaccountable. If you are looking for a congregation with transparent leadership that actually addresses its problems instead of sweeping them under the rug, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. read more

I have attended CCBF for some time, and I feel it's important to share my experiences regarding the staff's attitude towards children. On multiple occasions, I have noticed that their staff seems unwelcoming to children. Not only do they not allow children in the sanctuary, but I have also experienced difficulty when my child was on the outside, the back area, supervised and not in Sunday school. When I politely approached staff member/usher, Jeff regarding these rules, he became very hostile, even telling us to leave the church, watch the service from home, or find another church. I just wanted to understand why would the outside area be under such rigid and unreasonable standards, when there is a sanctuary and inside area for absolute silence and no movement-allowed policies. These interactions have created an uncomfortable environment/atmosphere, which is disappointing. Being spoken to in this manner is unacceptable in any setting, and particularly alarming within a Christian church. It would be beneficial if CCBF could foster a more inclusive atmosphere that appreciates the presence of children as part of the community. I hope this feedback encourages them to reconsider their approach, as a more welcoming environment could significantly enhance the experience for families. read more

My fiancé and I have come here for a few months off and on. Decent teaching and nice building. Somewhat unwelcoming to children. We sit outside with our one year old and we have been told twice now that our son isn't welcome unless he's in child care. Really makes us feel unwelcome. read more

If you are seeking a relationship with God then learning his word is vital. Most churches nowadays quote one scripture and give a motivational speech to make you feel good. Then preach about Tithing and pass around a basket. But those churches don't actually teach the word of God and all they really care about is getting your money. Not only does Pastor Clark teach the Bible from cover to cover. He knows Gods word better than any pastor I have ever witnessed and You can feel Gods presence and guidance at "The Barn" and he doesn't make it about getting money. They don't pass around a basket. There are boxes on the wall that you can freely choose to give or not. I first started attending CCBF in 2006. I went through many ups and downs throughout the years in between and would go through stages of attending regularly and then not attending because I lost my way. My oldest son who was born in 2003 has great memories of going to the barn as a small boy and seeing the Hot Air Balloons on the way there. For a time period when he was in his early teens and through his high school years he wasn't sure what he believed in, and even said he didn't know if he believed. But by the Grace of God we returned to CCBF together in 2022. We were baptized together By Clark the day before his 19th Birthday and now attend Wednesday and Sunday services, and listen to Clark's sermon archives as we study the Bible on our free time. My son also attends the Men's Bible study and is now on the path of a double major in Psychology and Biblical studies. He wants to help people through Jesus and it is with the guidance of Pastor Clark he was able to figure out Gods plan for him. I am currently working through Sally Van Wicks study books as well as Pastor Clark's commentary books. God definitely has shown us there is no place like The Barn. For us, it has allowed us to grow our relationship with God and with our family. We are very thankful for CCBF. Pastor Clark is truly a wise man of God, he is an amazing teacher and I urge anyone who wants to learn God's word to listen to his sermons. Read his commentary books, attend a Sunday service and feel the lords presence. read more

I this church & the grounds. It's truly beautiful with lots of outdoor areas to enjoy along with a waterfall and baptism pool built into it. There is also a running large water wheel and lots of trees surrounding it . The outdoor venue is like an amphitheater with stone and grassy sitting areas . They also have plenty of classrooms for the kids, along with a playground and lots of tables and chairs all over with tv monitors to view and worship outdoors. Indoors has a living room area with lots of leather couches before going into the primary sanctuary area , where you can just kick back in a comfy area to enjoy and worship that way! In the main sanctuary there is a beautiful backdrop of an all glass window that is the back wall behind the main pulpit and stage. It's all lush green trees and bushes along with nature , brings the outdoors in. Truly breathtaking. The main pastor is Clark and his wife is Sally, they are both down to earth and a very humble team. This church has a band and worship is for about 15-20 min then they study a portion of the Bible and Pastor Clark is always right on point with his message. It's a pretty mellow church not charismatic but on point and straight forward with the gospel message . After every service there is complimentary coffee and donuts . Also an area for free bread, rolls or desserts! Located in the heart of wine country off Rancho California right past Maurice Carrie winery. Oh by the way, they never ask for money or pass a basket! My granddaughter want to go a adult service Sunday . The greeters said she couldn't go in that she had to be 12. We were told that we could set in the overflow room as we started to leave. That is not the same. We could have watch from home on the TV. She ask for a adult Bible for Christmas and she reads it and shares things about Jesus with me and has many Questions. Where in the Bible does it say are the age limits for hearing Gods word? CCBF you should be happy to let children that want to hear a adult service it is Gods word not a X rated show they are wanting to hear and see. This church looks good sounds good But when it comes to their sheep they do not care whatsoever you'll notice they have no programs for their people that are trapped at home they have no programs when you need Help with the youth.They have no program if any of their sheep need any type of help or find theirselves in bad shape and need help they will quote you scriptures about how you got in this bad shape but then send you away hungry. Sorry to say this church after attending it for 20 years I find it is one of the 7 churches mention in revelation it has become fat with money but forgets it sheep. read more

I went to this church in 2007 with my husband for pre-marital guidance with Pastor Mann. This is where we started our family both physically and spiritually. Now married with 2 lovely children that have been dedicated by pastor Clark and fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, I never thought I'd be surrounded by such kind people. There's no bible bashing or money pushing, just people who truly care about getting the message out straight from the bible. God does the rest. Awesome free daycare when you come with volunteers who love children and go through background checks. Great MOM's groups as I have been in one at this church since I had my son 5 years ago and daughter 2 years ago. Generous Clothing Exchanges for those who need clothing and other stuff.
