But my experiences at Vintage Park Dental have always met my highest of expectations. When it comes to my teeth, chewing without discomfort or pain is a high priority in life. I have faced the facts, that I didn't take care of my teeth as a child and now suffer the consequences of living with multiple fillings, crowns and the dreaded root canal. While Dr. Martin wasn't around (or even alive) when I was a kid, I'm sure lucky to have him as my dentist in my current adult life. To start with, Dr. Martin is an all around great guy who is personable, has a fun sense of humor, confident, and most importantly, highly professional in the ways of dentistry. When it comes to getting replacements of old fillings or crowns, my first worry is that my mouth will not feel comfortable afterward, but Dr. Martin has the knack of alleviating my fears and has the sixth sense to know that everything will be just fine. I went in the crown wasn't sized correctly so there was an extended waiting period. I went in again and had it taken care of. After my procedure I had sensitivity and made an appointment to see what's going on and was told not to use that side to give it some time to heal. months passed I called again during this time I received a bill from my insurance company that I owed for a balance because they charged my insurance company for that return visit and x rays for their mistake . I called again in hopes they would make it right and asked if I went for them to check it if i would get billed on my insurance and they said yes but they can wave my co pay. At the end of the day I payed almost 2k out of pocket along with the max they were able to charge my insurance plus they were payed for all my return visits in which nothing was solved. I am left with a tooth that hurts to drink cold drinks or hurts when I bite down. I spent thousands between insurance and the procedure. Ive had a second opinion and they say I need a root canal I wish they could've done something for me when they had the chance now they've lost me as a customer and my family.

I'd been researching dentists for some time and kept coming back to Elk Grove Healthy Smiles (EHS), due to all of theor positive reviews and the staff from posted photos seems very friendly. I finally decided to visit EHS, and it turns out my girlfriend we t here when she was younger and had positive experiences as well. My initial consultation was thorough, and everything noted was gone over with me by both my Dental Hygienist and Dr. Nanra. And any further treatment was discussed and I given the option and opportunity to do it the same day, which I opted for dueing my 1st visit. Further treatment I went to another professional, and EHS helped me through the process and were even able to get me in sooner than expected. And then get me back in in-house, to finish a treatment before I went on vacation. Standard visits have been quick and easy as well, and staff have always ensured I was comfortable throughout my visits. From the reception team up front, to the dental professionals in the back.
