Changing doctors too often. I prefer staying with one dr. Someone who's familiar with your case.

If only I could give AMIC 0 stars. This place is so unprofessional and disrespectful to their…read morepatients. The medical director or his wife do not return phone calls.. I was with the practice for 7 years and I think I had 5 Doctors in that time frame. They can't keep physicians or staff..If they treat there physicians and staff like they do their patients.. I can see why. I don't think I have ever wrote a negative review this being the first. I have had several problems with them. With them recently getting worse. In March I called about my 21 year old son(technically not my son I am his legal guardian my best friend his mother passed away 7 years ago) I had got a phone call from his school nurse stating there was tinge of blood in his pull-up. This was a Friday afternoon and I was trying to get a hold of the doctors at one of the locations. They never passed the phone call along.. I wanted to get a urine sample at home and take it to the doctors office especially because he does not do well in a public setting trying to get a urine sample.. when I called back after not receiving a phone call. I asked him what I was supposed to do because I was leaving for vacation over the weekend. I was put on hold and when they got back to me, I was told to just take him to the emergency room and if they could not get a urine sample, they'll just hold him down and put a catheter in. Apparently, they have no experience with people with special needs. That would've been a traumatizing situation for him. Approximately a month and a half later, I had asked for a doctors note for my employer. The first note that was given to me listed most, but not all of my medical conditions and then when I receive the second letter, they basically made it out that I could do nothing. I was told that was the final note that I would need to go to physical therapy. In order to back up the Dr notes I have two documented medical conditions, one of the medical conditions people are actually getting disability for.. I would not go to physical therapy because my conditions will never get better. They'll only get worse. I was dealing with them for approximately a month with asking them to return phone calls.. I never received phone calls back and every time I called into the call center I got sarcasm unprofessional people on the other end.. admit at the very end I got very hostile and that was on a Friday.. On Monday, my husband I called to make an appointment for an issue. He was having they told my husband his account wasn't active right now because he owed $25 my husband said no problem I'll pay that and they continued to make an appointment for that very same day. My husband drove 30 minutes to get to the doctors office and they told him he did not have an appointment he said yes he did. He just made it today. They asked him three times if the appointment was for him and he said yes and I just made the appointment today. They would not see him so the following day, which was a Tuesday. I received a phone call finally from the office stating because of interactions with them, they will no longer see me. At this point I already decided that it was time for me to depart this practice.. I asked them kindly if they would still keep seeing my son and they were like who's your son. I told him I reminded them that he had down syndrome and they said they would still see him if I came in the office and I behaved.. well at that point I also decided he won't be going back there because apparently they do not care or know anything about our situation if they did, they would have more compassion.. There is a lot more to the story but hopefully this was enough to forewarn anybody that might be thinking of seeking medical care from them if you value your physical or mental health. BEWARE STAY AWAY..

When I finally go someone I explained the issues. Did not mention my BP issue. it got a lot higher today. Today I tried called the Dr because am having BP problems, it has been high for over a week. same issue, it took me holding and holding to finally get the call center. She said she would notify the office and call me right back. Well that was 5 hours ago. No One called. I needed to know if I could take an extra BP pill in the middle of the day. I have no Idea. So this office issues is not good if you have an emergency. They have changed total staff also. I hate looking for a new Dr but this has to change or I will have to. I have been blessed to have the service of Fab and Alma and what they do for us. I pray they realize this issue and get it fixed soon. I like the Dr.

Even though when you arrive they are fully staffed and several people at front desk. Not sure why they can't answer the phone? Nonetheless the Dr never called in the prescription and I could not get a hold of anyone to get the prescription. Doctors don't take any calls after hours so they are not on call. I wouldn't recommend this location. There is no sense of urgency Or care. After my experience, I won't go back.

I figured an urgent care at a hospital was a pretty good bet and I was right. When you drive up to the Watson Clinic complex it's pretty impressive. The Express Clinic has its own entrance next to the hospital. Everyone we encountered from the security guard up to the doctor were super nice and helpful. After completing the paperwork we were taken in immediately. After a nurse took my son's vitals, Dr. Band came right in. He was wonderful with 14 year old and sent us off to get X-rays. The x-rays were also done immediately. Dr. Band came back and showed us the X-rays. It confirmed a broken thumb. The hand was wrapped, put in a sling, and off we went. Yes, the injury was not severe, but we got what we wanted (an x-ray, diagnosis, and wrap) very quickly. The staff could not have been nicer and more professional. I was told our insurance would be not even be billed as an urgent care visit but as a regular doctor's office visit. Hopefully, this is the case. Loved this express clinic, but hopefully, we will not have a need to go back there!

Background: I have always being physically active and in "good shape". I've never been overweight…read morenor have I ever had any chronic condition - until sometime in my early 50s. Then I developed some sort of an autoimmune system disorder resulting in cartilage deterioration throughout my body. I've had nineteen orthopedic operations (so far). I am in constant pain and experience joint(s) swelling so extensively that for example, I cannot make a fist at times; I can't slip on shoes, etc. I have been to many arthritis specialists, all of which exhausted their knowledge before referring me to the next. I even spent weeks going to the Mayo Clinic - whose doctors eliminated 28 other possible causes for my condition - but never determined what is causing it (I ran out of time and money first). Prior to being treated by Dr. Berger seven months ago I'd been seeing a Primary Care Physician (PCP) at least once every 6 months, a Pain Management office every month, an Arthritis specialist every quarter and a few other physicians for various reasons. Each of these was either under a corporate umbrella and therefore was limited by their management as to how to treat my conditions or they were limited in some other way (education, beliefs, etc.). Dr. Berger is free to treat his patients as he chooses - he's is only limited by laws (not share-holders). He took a LOT of time to review my medical history with me prior to accepting me as "his" patient. To say he is "thorough" would be an understatement. Using his keen observation skills, he noticed none of my previous treatment attempts included CBD or medical marijuana. Through a process of elimination Dr. Berger has systematically helped me determine what combinations of these so-called "alternative" medicines help me the most. In my case - it's been found my body doesn't tolerate THC (at all). However, by scientifically charting results, we've found a combination of THC-free CBDs, CBG, CBG-C and CBN that has worked to dramatically reduce the swelling, decrease the inflammation and subsequently I've experienced a LOT less pain! This has resulted in my ability to reduce the amount of opioid pain medicine I take, improved my mental clarity, allowed me to resume an exercise regimen, etc., etc. Dr. Berger has a flexible schedule and has the ability to "Tele-Med" a visit when necessary. We are in almost constant communication - it's very easy to get in touch with him. We're still tweaking my medications and dosages but it appears we're on the right track, and in such a short time of being his patient. The bottom line: Dr. Berger has improved my quality of life! He seems genuinely concerned with improving my health. The bonus: I've reduced the number of doctors I have to visit and office visits I must make on a regular basis (cost savings).
