Ive had nothing but praise with my Dermatologist PA Jessica Jeffries with Dr.Miller. Extremely professional and caring and very knowledgeable in her field. Every appointment is done quickly and the wait time too in her office. Has a great personality and always happy and her nurses are unbelievable too. I've already referred 3 patients to her and they were extremely happy and impressed totally. On a last note she spotted a spot on my back that was a cancerous and immediately had it removed within a week with Dr.Ferguson that was knowledgeable great personality and awesome too. 10+ read more

I come to this Watson Clinic location every few months for appointments and it's been a good experience every time! And I'm talking years worth of appointments at this point. The staff is normally friendly and helpful, there's valet if you really desire and the security guards are always friendly if you need helping finding which floor & desk to go to. This is not the closest clinic to me, but it's the one I choose to go to because it's such a better and pleasant experience. The ExpressCare attached to the back is also much better for an urgent care as well. Maybe the only bad thing is getting in and out of the clinic- it's on one of the only steep inclines in Lakeland along the busy 540A so that can get a little tricky. read more

I will not mention a particular doctor or staff member, but I am totally convinced that this entire network of medical care facilities lacks quality of care. I was a patient for almost 20 years and went for regular exams as well as emergency visits. Upon retirement, I began Medicare and my advantage plan was not accepted at Watson so I had to go to a different doctor. On my first visit I had bloodwork and was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and high cholesterol.Only a few months prior I had bloodwork at Watson and nothing was found in regard to either issue. I am now on multiple meds to treat both. My neighbor's son went to Watson and was misdiagnosed for almost 2 years before it was discovered he had Cancer. I could list more cases, but I think my point is clear. read more

I will not come back. My boyfriend and I booked appointments for annual physicals. I have a low deductible insurance plan. The appointment they made for me was with a nurse which I was fine with but I asked to see a Doctor PCP. They charged my $35 copay upfront even though this was an annual physical and should not be charged. At the appointment I brought up health concerns about recurring UTI's and these were brushed off as a gynecologist's responsibility (no referral) and I was told to pee after sex. My blood pressure was taken and I was prescribed a medication that I'd already been taking and needed a new prescription for. I did not get blood work done. My main issue lies with cost and billing. For this visit my insurance was billed over $400... Three months later I receive an additional bill for $8. My boyfriend who has a high deductible insurance plan and did get blood work done was charged over $300 out of pocket weeks later. To clarify, these visits were annual checkups... I can't imagine going here for an actual treatment. There's something greedy, dishonest, and corrupt going on here. read more

I had a great experience with the dermatology department here. They took me right at my appointment time and I didn't wait at all to be seen by the doctor. The nurses and Dr Miller were kind and addressed all of my questions. I felt listened to and was never rushed. This was in stark contrast to Lakeland Dermatology on Lake Miriam. Have already booked my annual screening for next year. Highly, highly recommend. read more

I've been waiting for months for the financial office to get back to me on the hardship application I submitted I was just turned the way at the urgent care of this location because there is a hold on my account. This is terrible customer service for patients that are sick, especially if that patient was a previous employee. I will never recommend Watson Clinic to anyone again and I plan to change all my doctors to another facility. read more

The web site for Watson Clinic Highlands states hours are from 6AM-5PM. On Friday 11/29/19 I drove from my home in Winter Haven to the clinic so I would be there early. When I got insurance that would let me go to Watson Clinic (The office on Highlands) I was excited thinking they had a great reputation. Their walk in clinic is very crowded with wait times up to 2 1/2 hours. The Doctor there said that the Orthopedic Dr would call me. ThAt never happened. I saw dr Mohamad here for sports medicine. Under. Orthopedic. I was told after an x Ray what to do. He was not a waist of my time. He waisted no time letting me know what I need to do. Who else to see. He told me who else to see to take care of my knees. He then told me this and that. Showed stuff. Treated me. Tested me. Told me to see so and so. That my issues was behind what he can do. He is not money hungry. He did not milk my insurance for thousands of dollars made me come back to do more test. He was straight forward dr. Yes no answers or this is what I need to do. Here is the information. It took about 5 mins for x Ray 15 mins to see the dr. Then a good 20 mins to see what's up. Really was in and out. The Watson Clinic Family Practice & Xpress Care formerly at the corner of 540A and Lakeland Highlands Rd moved to the new location behind CVS on 540A. It's a 2 story facility that houses dermatology, facial plastic surgery, ENT, Xpress Care and Labs (CT, bone, mammo, other). My first experience here for labs was swift and painless. Ample parking, 4 security guards hovering at the front kiosk, checked in quickly and called back right away for a pain-free blood draw. I hope all my visits are like this! read more

The phone system is crap. Have left messages and get no call back. You cant even leave a message unless its during business hours. You have to provide a driver's liscense # and date of birth...just to get transferred to the doctors office. I like my doctor, unfortunately, I will be going somewhere where I can get better communications. read more

Dr. Patel was a waste of time and money. He "scoped me" which was painlful and pointless. Then said to come back in a month to do it again yet he couldnt give me any answers. He called in a prescription to Publix for me, later to find out I couldnt get it at Publix. ONLY AT WATSON CLINIC NORTHSIDE during business hours. I explained I live in Tampa and theres no way I can pick it up. They said theres no other way. I just called my original primary doctor who just called in the same prescription at Publix near me with no problem.I wont be back to this doctor. read more

The doctors are very good here from my experience. But the receptionist on the first floor where the priority care and the lab are located, are not welcoming. I was in line, then the person ahead of me was called by the first available receptionist, the other receptionist became available but just sat there and did not acknowledge my presence. She was not doing anything not even working on the computer. The other receptionist had to be available for me to be able to check me in. I think it was very rude of her. I wish I got her name. She has long blonde hair. Very unfit to be a receptionist!!! read more

I would NEVER recommend Watson Clinic after multiple bad experiences my wife and I have had with them. I gave them a second chance after hearing mostly positive experiences from friends. I scheduled an appointment at their dermatology office to remove a few warts that were bothersome. After multiple treatments and 3 months later, I get a surprise bill claiming I owe $111 for the FIRST visit. I call Watson Clinic and they claim my insurance Company only covered part of the bill and I am responsible for the rest. That was fine, except I was never told to expect a second bill 3 MONTHS LATER! Now I owe Watson Clinic $444 (which I probably won't receive the other 3 bills for another 2-3 months) and they are unwilling to work with me. If I knew about the extra charges I am supposedly responsible for, I would have paid the $111 for the first appointment and cancelled any further appointments. But since they waited 3 months to send me a bill and never informed me that I owed anything beyond my co-pay, I have no choice but to pay. I have never done business with a company with such shady business practices. They try to blame the delay on the insurance company but my insurance company paid their part less than a month after the services were rendered. My wife and I will NEVER use Watson Clinic again. We are both in our 20's so they have missed out on a lifetime customer and I will do everything in my power to make sure no one else gets blindsided by their corrupt billing department. read more

Well I have to say Dr. Band is a Rock Star, there was a Trainee she was nice , even the lady who admitted me was pretty cool.. The person training the new girl was rigid and un welcoming. I was prescribed some Knee braces , so I went down to the ortho shop to try them on, first thing I noticed is the guy was just sitting there texting , and looked unhappy.. I told him what I needed he proceeded to put the exact opposite on, I advised its too tight; cutting off my circulation he stated it needs to be snug.. then in a very negative way stated " do you even want a brace?" I then walked out.. I commend the doctors here the rest of the staff need a HUGE over haul on customer interaction. I would only say go here if you need to ... do not get a primary doc here.. not worth the headache or stress read more

Disappointing, What is very important to my family, doesn't seem to be important to the healthcare facility that we trust to take care of us. We're supposed to be contacted of a time for a procedure that takes place tomorrow and haven't been contacted at all. Getting the run around from anyone that answers the phone. Three family members took off of work to attend this important procedure, loosing money everywhere. Will be looking for a new doctor. read more

The medical facility here is very nice and modern. The support staff in the front door and front office are very friendly and helpful. As we attend the Pediatric department, my son was seen by Dr. Varsha Ghayal for a rash condition. The Dr. exhibits herself as hateful individual. This is my experience, and it was terrible. I had accident and broke my hand. I went to the er and the sent me to fast track where they were very rude! They made jokes at my expense and laughed at me about my injury. I was in so much pain. The one nurse even said she gets bad reviews for her awful bedside manner. Then I went to watson clinic where Dr. Shankmen told me I should take online classes for free so I could get a job. He told me the classes don't get you a degree but with more knowledge I essentially wouldn't be some loser with out insurance. When you go to a Dr. because you are in pain and need help, getting insulted should be part of the treatment! even if you are poor. I explained that I have a chronic illness and had applied for disability but that just got me a dirty look. I went back for the 2nd follow up and was told that the Dr. wouldn't see me. I could not keep the bill out of collection for anything less than 100 a month. I had made a payment of 33 dollars to them .( that was the money that was going to my depression medication that I haven't had sense.) I don't know how long to keep taping my fingers or weather or not I can take the wrist brace off or weather or not I may do my self harm by figuring it out on my own. Felons in the polk county jail get better treatment than the poor do at Watson clinic. So now I'm forced to google it and hope my hand will work ok. I may be poor but I am a person that deserves to be treated with dignity. read more

The service is fast, but be warned- you will find some of the rudest, most unpleasant medical staff here. One of the nurses was completely out of line and made me feel like I was inconveniencing her with my presence, and Dr. Mauborgne spent most of her time being cocky with me, telling me it was my fault I got sick, instead of trying to be helpful. She even made a comment that suggested I was just there because I wanted prescription drugs. Her manner was completely unacceptable as it was clear that I was not feeling well.
