My initial review was removed, but my issue still stands. Initial review: On April 10th, I went to this location. I paid $165 out of pocket at the time of treatment to be seen. On July 22nd, I received a bill for $74.86, with a statement date of April 17th. The statement states that my charge for services was $239.86. However, the day that I visited, I was told $165, and I paid $165. They lied about the cost of treatment and are now billing me over 90 days after the fact via a collections company, even though I left their facility with no balance due at the time. This is bull. TIMELINE: -- In July, I received my first fraudulent invoice. They told me they would fix it. -- In August, I received a bill from a collections firm. They had NOT fixed it. -- In September, I received a letter from the business CONFIRMING that they had made a mistake, confirming that they were removing the account from collections. -- Today, I received a bill AGAIN for the same FRAUDULENT amount. This business has been notified via phone and via private message on Yelp that they have 24 hours to correct their fraudulent and dishonest practices before I submit all my paperwork and evidence to the BBB, the Chamber of Commerce, and the LAPD. It's a $74.86 bill that is utterly fraudulent. I will happily spend 10x the amount or more to see this business face justice for their unethical and dishonest business practices. read more

Highly recommended for RT-PCR Covid-19 testing, specifically for international travel. After booking a vacation to French Polynesia, I made the required appointments for my fiancé and I on Reliant's website. It was easy to navigate, and they allow you to pay for your test(s) in advance. Reasonably priced at $150 each. Three weeks before our trip, our departure flight was rescheduled to two days earlier. Most counties require RT-PCR tests to be administered within 72 hours of departure, and since the test results take 24-36 hours, the process is very time sensitive. Maria Chavez and Jose Sanchez were helpful and friendly with rescheduling our tests. We arrived at 7am on a Monday, and were in and out in 10 minutes. This location in DTLA is immaculately clean, and the staff are nice. They have their own parking garage. We got our results by noon the next day via email, and successfully traveled to a country with strict Covid regulations. read more

I believe it is a $10 parking flat fee. Lady at the front desk was nice but incompetent. She kept reading out my credit card information even though I had told her to please not read it out loud. Her response was "Why? It's not like anybody cares." Seriously, that's personal and confidential information that other people don't need to know. Very unprofessional. I would probably go over re-training the staff here. Place was clean for the most part. They have hand sanitizers on the walls and outlets to charge your phone while you wait. I probably spent a total of 3 hours here. Came here after work around 6pm on a weekday. The doctor tried to help me out the best she could. I think I had an ear infection cause I kept getting liquid roll around in my ear. Doctor said she couldn't see anything and nothing was wrong. Honestly if you're having ear troubles might not be worth it to come here just go to a ENT (ear specialist) doctor instead. I went to an ENT doctor later and had the issue fixed. Not the best experience but if you need after work hour care for anything else they are open until 9 pm I believe. read more

SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND TENSION AND DO NOT GO!!!! I know this is a long review but please read the whole thing and save yourself the trouble. I would leave negative stars if that was an option here. I sought treatment on October 18. It was very unimpressive. They opened at 7am and their time on the website says 7am but the doctor didn't even come until around 7:45am. I had taken time off from work to go to urgent care and was almost late despite me being the only patient. I went in because I had a bad cough, something that I had had before. I told the doctor what medications I had taken before. He just listened to my breathing and prescribed those same medications without even a thorough checkup. It was literally going in to get a prescription and not actual care from the doctor. The doctor was unkempt and unimpressive and looked like he just rolled out of bed and got there. Before I went here I looked them up on my insurance app to make sure they were in network. I even asked them when I got there and I was told yes and paid the copay of $20. Fast forward 2 months later. I get hit with a $219 bill for a less than five min visit. Further more the billing code they used was not accurate. The code they used must have three components to be justified: comprehensive history, examination and medication management of moderate degree. Out of the three only the third one probably loosely applied to this situation. I am sure they have their own argument why this particular CPT code applies. I really don't care as long as they stop acting so shady. After I get hit with the bill I call the number on their bill. It goes to this shady and unofficial voicemail of this lady. She's mumbling in the recording and you can't even tell what her name is and they don't even say that they are affiliated with the medical group. I then call the actual clinic twice. Both times I am told that I will get a call back from billing and no one does. I get fed up and call my insurance. They verify that I should have only had to pay my $20 copay as they are in network. Moreover they never even billed my insurance. This was last week. It's been a week and my insurance company has been trying to reach them as well and they are not responding. I had an awful experience at this clinic. Unfortunately it was the only urgent care location covered under my HMO plan. If you have the option, go elsewhere. A brief summary of the series of mishaps I experienced, from start to finish. 1. Parking signs list the clinic's logo and direct you to park in the building lot. Only upon checking out are you informed that parking is not validated, "unless you are here for workers comp." Total parking fee: $20 (nearly as much as my medical copay). 2. The physician barely spent any time examining me and left the bulk of the work to be carried out by the technicians. He did not provide any feedback or post-visit care instructions. 3. After having x-rays done, I requested a copy of the images to take to my primary care doctor. I was given a CD, which I was then unable to open at home (on a Mac or a PC). Only after making several phone calls and asking to speak with the nurse manager was my request handled. 4. I came in the next morning to get an updated/Mac accessible copy of my x-ray images. The files still did not work and I had to use an online program to view them. After explaining to the nurse manager my frustration with the parking arrangements, I was given a refund for the previous day's parking fees. It was an appreciated gesture after all the unnecessary stress from my earlier visit, but I would still avoid coming here unless absolutely necessary. read more

I, recently decided to check out a different Reliant Urgent Care. Unfortunately, Reliant may need to fire all of its staff and revamp with a whole NEW staff at each location. I, called prior to coming to the DTLA location. The male that answered the phone told me that the wait was between 20 minutes and 1 hour (no biggy). Shortly, after checking in, a Male medical assistant came to the front desk and told myself and other patients that the wait time had now jumped up to 3 hours. He, said this was due to short staffing and that he was the only MA working with the doctor. I, was a little shocked that the wait time at an Urgent Care was 3 hours due to short staffing. I, was under the impression that when an urgent care contracts with an insurance that they have to abide by certain stipulations. Why, would my insurance want to pay a claim to a provider that can't ensure that patients are seen in a timely manner. Furthermore, it may be slightly inappropriate for staff to be online shopping at the front desk as I wait 3 hours to be seen for my ear infection (just a thought). read more

Avoid this place at all cost, especially if you're paying out of pocket like us. My husband went in for covid tesing last Wednesday due to his flu like symptoms, which were to give us results within 36-48 hours. Initially he was to get the cheaper, less time applied testing done but the office recommended we do the more accurate testing (more costly) one and we did. Not only did we not get our results, but it is impossible to get in touch with them. I spoke to an operator several of times and they'd transfer me over to the DTLA office and noone ever picks up. Not only have I left numerous messages but I've been calling for a few days now. Why does Reliant Urgent Care do covid testing if they aren't going to give their patients the results? It's been three days since I've been trying to get in touch with them. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. This type of unprofessionalism and carelessness could be costing lives. Why bother proudly advertising covid testing, if patients aren't to get their results? Why make patients pay twice to get secondary testing done? ***Due to the delay in providing results, we had to get a secondary test done elsewhere. The worst urgent care I've every been to. I had come back from a hiking trip in Colombia, and hit my foot somewhere on the rough terrain causing a large swelling. I thought that I may have a fracture and came in. A physician's assistant (PA) was on call that night, and as soon as I told her I was in Colombia she determined that there would have been mosquitoes there, and therefore this was not an injury perse, but more of an infection. I kept telling her that the pain was similar to a fracture, and I know I hit my foot, and on top of all of that, my foot was the most covered-up thing during the entire 4-day hike - so there is very little possibility that I would have an infection in my foot and nowhere else on my body. She was completely convinced that it was an infection, and gave me treatment for an infection, including antibiotics (which i never ended up taking). Three important things to note: 1. The PA was the most condescending person I've ever spoken to. She had no doubt in her mind that she was right (she ended up being completely wrong), and spoke to me like she was talking to a 3 year old (I'm 33). 2. I was waiting for at least 2 hours before being sent to the back room. Then in the back room for around 30-40 minutes without being seen before I started complaining to the staff. The PA walked in and wanted to know why I'm upset because "the average wait time for an urgent care is 3 hours". This really pissed me off, because a) it's untrue and b) name one successful business that's proud to be average... 3. I had insurance. Yet when the bill came, I ended up paying over $200, and that's for a service that didn't help me one bit. To me that's expensive...to her it's probably "average"... Never ever will I come back here again. My foot healed completely with zero antibiotics btw. read more

I've been trying for DAYS to set up an appointment at this location via phone and to get a single insurance question answered. But their phone service is awful and incredibly unreliable. The first day, I somehow managed to get a hold of someone and ask them if they'd take my insurance. They said they would call the insurance and call me back. This never happened. I tried following up by calling the next day. And the next day. And the next day. But every time I would get redirected to voicemail, due to all operators being busy, and left a message for callback. Tried calling at different times throughout the days to no avail. Not once did I get a callback. If you need to schedule an appointment for a COVID test, or if you even need to simply schedule an appointment, I suggest you look elsewhere for some other clinic that takes communication seriously. read more

The people here are extremely rude, girl in the lobby was talking on her cellphone to another coworker gossiping and telling them how to get a shift covered. The guy who took me back kept yelling my name and didn't even allow me time to get up and walk to the back. The doctor ordered a urine sample and the same man asked where I had put the urine, ummm in the same sanitary box in the restroom? He was shocked and didn't understand why I would do that. The doctor didn't really listen to my problems and symptoms he just automatically diagnosed me after like 1 min of conversation. These people are obviously not as educated as I was hoping. Throughout the two months that I came here for physical therapy and follow up doctor visits, I was always seen within ten minutes of checking in, if not immediately, and was always greeted by a friendly and professional team. Eric, Justine, and Marlene, the physical therapists that worked with me, along with Omar and Manuel in the doctor's office, were exceptionally great. I appreciated them taking the time to explain any questions and scheduling my doctor appointments directly following my physical therapy sessions to avoid additional visits and prolonged waiting. this is a specific post in reference to my interaction with DR. NASER ALAZARI --for reference this all took place around 2:00pm July 21st-- I came into the office with the expectation to get a second opinion and a refill of a prescription (narcotic, I had a severe case of strep throat) Dr Alazari was correct in stating that Reliant Urgent Care does not issue prescriptions for narcotics. This negative review is about his demeanor and his delivery. He seemed to be set off about me asking for a specific medication that he in truth was not able to prescribe but because of his demeanor and behavior the situation escalated quickly to a point where I no longer felt safe in that establishment. I was forced to leave as he became visibly an audibly more unhinged as I asked the front desk rep. for information. Never in my life have I been spoken to or berated by a professional in their place of business as I have by this man. He lost full composure the instant I tried to discuss medication with him. When I showed him the drugs I was prescribed by my primary care physician his reaction was very exaggerated he raised his voice, squinted his eyes at me and said "your doctor should be sued" He attempted to initiate a back-and-forth with me about the opioid epidemic in this country (before even examining my throat) so that implies to me that he looked at me a instantly saw something that brought him to "drug abuse" I'm not going to overstep bounds and makes comments on this man's career but I know FOR A FACT this man should NOT be allowed to practice medicine UNSUPERVISED. He definitely does not need to be in a management capacity if he can become unhinged like that and to such a degree. His temper and demeanor are easily recognizable to any person who has been verbally assaulted or verbally abused before and his actions clearly unfit for a professional environment such as a medical office. He himself is a man of color but if you've lived in this world long enough you know prejudice can come from anywhere and this man carries deep prejudices with him in the workplace. I really can't articulate fully the way I was treated by him there is so much nuance to being discriminated against/judged by your appearance, from the way that they look at you to the way that they answer your questions (if they even acknowledge your question at all) He proceeded to address me in the third person as if I was not present (to back office staff and front office staff) Exhibited very aggressive/agitated body language throughout the encounter and afterwards. I received PT for the last 4 months with therapists Chris T, Eric M & Marlene C. Chris and Eric were exceptional. They were truly accommodating and patient with me with my injury. They were very knowledgeable and had excellent recommendations for the stretches. I felt better after each PT session was over at the end of the day. KUDOS to all three staff members, they should all receive accommodations on their PT work. I will highly recommend this team to my coworkers for future PT visits. Waiting: When I came in, there were 2 people waiting. One person was waiting for a friend who was being seen. One person was waiting to be seen. The receptionist promptly processed me. Then, I waited for 1 hour and 15 min to be seen. The place is basically empty but I'm waiting for 1 hour and 15 min. I understand if it's busy, but it appears that they only have a handful of people handling the urgent care side of the clinic. If your matter is urgent and you feel relieved at seeing an empty waiting room. Don't hold your breath. The actual care: the medical assistant was friendly and efficient. Lab results were prompt. The doctor asked thoughtful questions and was respectful of my time. He also provided a reasonable treatment time. If you can withstand the wait in the waiting room, there is decent staff to care for you. read more

Giving it 3 stars for the pros but was pretty disappointed with the cons. PROS: Clean, nice office. Free parking with validation. Pretty friendly staff and very friendly doctor (once he came in). Open 24hrs. CONS: Waited 50 mins just to get called back to a room when there was only one other person in the waiting room ahead of me. I asked the nurse if he thought this would be much longer since I was going to be late for work and he assured me it wouldn't be long. But I waited another 30 minutes till the doctor came in. I was literally standing ready to leave. Once he came in, he affirmed the results of the simple test that I needed and said he just needed to finish the Rx and I again said that I was sorry but I am in a hurry. I sat and waited another 5 minutes and had to go out and ask if they could please help me finish the Rx so I could leave. This was at 7:10am. The only reason I chose this place was because they are open 24 hrs and therefore open before most of the others around. But since I wasn't even taken to a room till 8am and then not seen by the dr till 830am, I should have just gone to one of the plenty of places that opened at 8. I do understand that they might have been busy at the time but the last few urgent care centers and Minute Clinics I have gone to have been much faster. Maybe those urgent care centers are far more staffed or something but I assumed I would be out at least in an hour, especially for a very routine test. Lastly, they asked for my pharmacy info on the paperwork and yet still don't call it in for you so you have to bring in the Rx yourself. Which when you are in a hurry and needing quick results is just one more step of waiting. Overall just a stressful, late to work kind of morning on top of not feeling well. read more

Visited Reliant Urgent care last night as my father has had shoulder pain for three to four days and we wanted to get it checked out. Typically we would go to a chiropractor first or even our regular doctor but my dad wasn't too worried until we reached out to Dr Google DTLA is a little far from me (Westco) but my wife had been here earlier this year and received EXCELLENT service, as we lived in the area. So I decided to go back and was not disappointed. They are also open 24/7 at this location. The front desk was friendly and efficient. The waiting area and rooms were spotless. It also didn't have that "sickly" doctor vibe that I usually get at most urgent cares. Very modern and sleek. Dr. Alazari attended to my father and he was extremely thorough and kind. We were in and out in about an hour. Which I appreciated very much. Reliant Urgent Care has not let me down. 100% recommend! read more

Came in with an injured foot, and could not walk properly, but thanks to everyone at reliant urgent care my foot has healed. I want to thank in particular Eric Murillo, my physical therapist. He spent his time showing me multiple exercises to strengthen my foot all around my ankle to my toes. He helped me work on my balance to strengthen my foot work and made the pain go away with ease. Of course it's outrageously expensive for the briefest, cursory examination--but you should already know that. You're only going to urgent care because you don't have a choice. Still, you should choose a different provider if you can: What sets this place apart is their bizarre refusal to send prescriptions to a pharmacy (even though the intake form asks for the patient's pharmacy--which I assume is for purposes of marketing). In the last decade, I've never encountered a medical provider that doesn't offer to do that. Their refusal to do so means you will need to walk your prescription to a pharmacy, then return to pick it up (which isn't a problem--unless, of course, you are ill or injured!) UPDATE: Re the response from Reliant's representative: sure, feel free to DM me. Not sure what the resolution would be, since I already had to go to make multiple trips to pick up and drop off the prescription. And as you look into this, know that I was told multiple times, by several of your employees, that the refusal to send prescriptions was a "policy" (aside: isn't it just maddening when a company offers that circular justification? As if they have no choice but to do the thing they have chosen to do...) Charged me for the antibody test and then they decided that they needed me to pay $100 more. Just randomly. Just because they can. Smh. Healthcare should be healthcare, health care shouldn't be $200 to find out if I have the antibodies since I work with hundreds of people a day, it would put me at an ease of mind to find out. Things like this should be low cost, free, or covered by insurance. And you definitely shouldn't change your mind on the price and charge me more after I already paid lol, that's not how business works read more

Very unorganized, I've been tested several times because of work related purposes, and this was the largest facility I've been to but the slowest. Others have twice as many tests and get it done in half the time. Don't waste your whole day here, go somewhere else. They also charge more than the average $150 for a rapid COVID test. read more

I get waiting due to long covid lines. But if you're advertising 15 min rapid tests, which everyone at the facility then says is between 1-5 hrs due to the volume of tests, I shouldn't have to wait 8 hours. And once my results were received the phone number listed for me was wrong. The tech who took my swab even showed me my paperwork to double check and I saw I wrote my number down correctly. If the results are texted, someone else now also has my medical results. I also got the results as a response to my email inquiry about them. DO NOT GET YOUR COVID TEST HERE. They sent me someone else's results! Major HIPAA violation, and this person's test results were positive, would they have found out if I hadn't said something?? Additionally, the covid safety measures did not seem adequate at all, people were waiting outside which is good, but there was no attempt to encourage distancing outside, with most people gathered close to the door, and the nurse performed my test with only a basic surgical mask, no N95 or face shield. UPDATE: after more than 48 hours, I still haven't received my results, and they won't answer my emails or phone calls. When you call, they will put you on hold for an hour until the call goes to voicemail. If you'd like to spend $200 for a test and not receive results, this is the place to go! UPDATE #2: this reply below appears to be some sort of automated service. They ask you to send them a direct message, trying to make it appear publicly as though they are taking these complaints seriously. Unsurprisingly, no one ever replies to the direct message. Still no results! UPDATE #3: 11 days later, still no results! FINAL UPDATE: if this happens to you, select the 'billing' line when you call, it will take you to a separate billing company (who actually answers the phone) and they can issue a refund. read more

Expect to wait at least 2 HOURS for covid test, even with an appointment. In 2 hours, I probably watched 7 people get tested. While waiting outside, I was surrounded by 30+ people for 2 hours. Some didn't bother to stay 6 ft away. When it was finally my turn and asked the nurse about the long wait time, she simply said..."it's the NORMAL wait time". People who work here are nice but maybe make an announcement that your normal wait time is 2 hours so people don't have to wait around others who may be infected? I went to Reliant to try to get some relief from an embarrassing issue. I waited for a while until I worked up the courage Togo have an issue checked out. There was quite a wait because of COVID testing they conduct there. I explained my issue to the receptionist and she was very professional and kind. I was put in an exam room and asked to wait. A nurse came in to ask the questions I'd previously answered. She thought the situation was funny and went out the exam room to laugh with the Physician's assistant and the doctor just outside the room. The Doctor insisted (in her loud voice) the PA take my case because (she wasn't doing that). I was very embarrassed until a very nice gentleman came in to give me an antibiotic shot. The PA insisted they did t have the instruments to help me and should see an ER physician (in a pandemic). When I stepped out of the exam room the nurse was explaining my prescription and what I should do going forward when the loud doctor, interrupted him about lunch. It was terrible. She was rude and obnoxious and I would never send anyone to that facility. read more
