I fell while rollerblading late March on a Monday afternoon and broke my dominant wrist. While that…read morewas unlucky, I was incredibly lucky with my treatment. I fell a couple of blocks from home, had to skate home, then my husband drove us here. Luckily we already knew about this place. I got in to Premier Urgent care right away, got an X-Ray right away, was taken over to the other side of the building to CCSMO right away, saw Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Robert Coats right away, he did more X-Rays right away, reset my wrist, scanned the wrist again, determined it did not need surgery, and put the cast on, did more scans to make sure the cast was perfect. I fell just before 2pm on Monday and was treated and home with my cast just before 4pm. Less than 2 hours for repairing a broken bone! I was incredibly impressed. As if that wasn't enough, everyone was so kind and helpful. All of the doctors, nurses, X-Ray technician, the other staff, really everyone is wonderful. I have had multiple checkups with Dr.Coats, all have gone well. I am in Occupational Therapy with Brian 2-3 a week. Everyone in the Physical Therapy part is so friendly and helpful. You can tell they all care about helping their patients. I am blown away by how much Brian knows! He's been doing this for ~20 years!

Take this as a WARNING. DO NOT GO to this office for service unless you have hours to waste…read morewaiting.  My appointment was scheduled weeks in advance. Got to the office and was told that the doctor was running an hour behind.  I didn't actual see the doctor for 4 1/2 hours later. Multiple people in the office had been waiting a similar length.  I know because people were complaining about the wait.  The doctor himself was not the issue just the rest of the office. I was told the reason for the time delay was that multiple doctors were sharing two room. I don't know how that was an acceptable excuse given that there was not a surprise number of doctors and rooms at the location. The location is also a bit run down as well. I'm posting this so people know before committing to the office.  Its easier to never go to the office versus switching.  I ended up accepting the lost and just spent more money switching doctors. I know everyone can't afford to do that.

I highly recommend Midland Orthopedics as they proved excellent care!…read moreDr. Strugala was wonderful. I had a knee, and ankle injury. I was in enormous amount of pain. He explained my injury to me and the different ways to recovery. He was encouraging and simply a great doctor because he took the time explain the options to repairing and healing these injuries that gave me back my mobility with out pain. I appreciated the doctor's keeping their appointments timely. I usually didn't wait over five minutes for my appointments. This clinical staff are wonderful! They were helpful and supportive as I needed insurance documents completed urgently. This is the place to go!

Dr Michael Maday is a quack. I would highly suggest not seeing him if you have the choice. If you…read moreshould happen to be forced to see him as he does work for workers comp, I would highly suggest getting a lawyer to send a request asking for your visit to be recorded. I'm not sure if you're allowed to have a witness in back with you. If they send a nurse with you that's not a witness for you. It's a witness for the insurance company don't let that person in the back with you. If you can't have a witness in back with you then I would highly suggest if possible having multiple people on the phone to listen to him so you have witnesses. He does not record answers the way you answer them and he's legally supposed to. I had to answer the same questions multiple times only for him to continue to repeat what I said back wrong to me. After him doing this I did document how he was hurting me and I wasn't sure what he was writing down because he kept repeating things back to me wrong. He will definitely lie as he did on my IME report. He also stated I didn't have my MRI with me. The girls at the front desk were too busy talking in the back to do anything. My driver had to get loud to get their attention. Then as soon as the girl answered his question she walked away. Nobody bothered to ask for it. I didn't even know why I was there as I was not even told why. I went in not in pain as I have been resting my knee physically doing nothing. I left his office and for three days after having a lot of pain and having to hold on to the wall to walk. He continued to excessively push hard on my knee. Even with me stating you are hurting me please stop he continued to push over and over again in the same spot. Even with me grabbing his hand to get him to stop he continued pushing harder. When I asked him if there was something I could be doing to help and what he thought, he said I haven't even looked at your doctor's notes or MRI so I don't know. With him saying I haven't looked at your doctor's notes or MRI I figured he already had the MRI. Otherwise why wouldn't you say I don't have access to your MRI. Managers at my company asked me what happened as I was in better condition prior to seeing him. He does not care about patients. All he cares about is money and will write whatever the insurance company wants. If your insurance company wants you to see him get an attorney because you will need it. There's a reason he was the only doctor in the state of Illinois that I could see according to Sedgwick.
