I would give them zero stars if Yelp allowed it!…read more I called for a taxi, that never showed up even after multiple attempts to contact the dispatcher and the driver. 4:01 pm - Requested a taxi and told the dispatcher I needed to pick up my car at the shop. Gave him the address for the taxi to pick me up. I called right back because I forgot to leave my phone number. The dispatcher said he already has it on their caller id (this is important later). 4:10pm - Driver calls and asks me to text him my pickup address. He says he is doing a drop off, and that I am his next fare. Although I already gave the address to the dispatcher, I texted it to the driver as he requested. 4:16 pm - Driver texts me asking for the drop off location. Although I had given this information to the dispatcher also, I went ahead and texted that information to the driver as well. 5:55 pm - Driver still has not arrived, so I send him another text reminding him that the auto shop is closing in 1-hour. I never did get a response from the driver. 6:30 pm - (This is why the caller id was important) Attempted to call the taxi dispatcher to let them know the driver never arrived. However, when I called the phone rang three times and went to voicemail. 6:37 pm - Attempted to call dispatcher again, and this time the phone range once before I was sent to voicemail. Good thing this was not a life threatening need for a taxi! They are not reliable, and will never attempt to do business with them again!

Since 7 is one too many for your typical Uber or Lyft, I widened my search for transportation to and from the theme parks for our 10-day stay. For a well-dressed chauffer, always on time if not ahead of it, bringing you around in a comfortable luxury SUV, Marty's rates were reasonable. No regrets in taking a chance and trying him out. Will gladly do so again on our next Orlando trip. My only regret though was not having a group photo with him as we were too excited to hit the parks at opening each morning and too tired when we got home after closing them each day. Marty was that patient and flexible with our long and crazy hours. Not to mention our pushing through despite the hurricane bearing down on us. I have been trying to get this resolved for almost 20 days, but customer support has been completely unhelpful. No one has taken responsibility or provided a real solution. This was clearly an error on Uber's system, but I am the one paying the price. It is unacceptable to keep a customer's money because of your own mistake. I expected much better service and accountability from a company like Uber.

However, instead of using a standard meter or charging a reasonable wait rate, he charged a completely arbitrary, forced flat rate of $64 total ($54 for a short 9-mile airport ride plus $10 for waiting). He didn't even provide any receipt. While the wait was our fault, charging illegal, unmetered rates to passengers is not the way to handle it. Use an official city cab or standard rideshare instead to ensure transparent pricing.

I used other cab companies and all of them always tried to take the longest route to get the most cash out of me. I know this because I Would GPS the routes. The driver was 10 mins early. Helped us with our luggage. And took the shortest route possible to get us to our destination on time. And the fare was 10 dollars cheaper from the other cab company I used when I arrived. Very professional and happy overall with the service. Also his car was really clean and didn't stink.

We attempted to get an Uber/Lyft at 4:30am Sunday Morning to get to the airport. No one would…read moreaccept the drive. We were forced to quickly find taxi service to make our flight on time. Google search recommended 24seven taxi. Fee was twice as much as Uber/Lyft. But we needed to get to the airport so we accepted. "Olu" arrived in a reasonable amount of time. He helped load the luggage into the vehicle. He was pleasant to speak with. About half way through the drive he asked if we had and could pay with cash. He said the company would refund the credit card charge after the fact. During the drive I checked my bank statement. The charge "finalized" before we arrived at the airport. He continued to ask for cash and said "the owner will call you". I showed him that the transaction has already gone through. "I'm not going to pay you twice and get no receipt that I paid in cash". BUYER BEWARE!!!! Their phone number immediately hangs up on you. Their social media is spotty at best. I attempted to give them the opportunity to respond before writing this. I received no response. He also had the nerve to ask for a "gift" after attempting to shake me down for cash and credit card payment. Maybe this is a single driver issue? Maybe the driver was the owner? Pay the extra money to schedule an Uber/Lyft ahead of time when needing a ride at a low volume time. ***Update**** Owner called me to apologize about the situation explaining he is attempting to have drivers take payments directly to cut out a middle man (card processors), but the online functionality has not been disabled to allow for clear communication between clients and drivers. If this had been clear ahead of time, we would have had a much better experience.
