Today I got a parking ticket. I called them, left a message and THEY NEVER RESPONDED. A courtesy call saying "sorry" at least.

Just a shame! Mark then says to me "we are overwhelmed and understaffed" (as he breathes hard like a big ole freight train on the phone clearly from sitting there eating snacks allllllllllll shift). So, Mark what does that have to do with me? I noticed this was the only location open today. I was calling the Wilshire location for over 7 days and nothing, so I tried Alhambra. I even calling on the weekends because the Alhambra location is open on Sundays, so I was hoping for Wilshire as well. Mark is disgusting. If you hate your job Mark, then quit. I am definitely calling Illinois and going in on LinkedIn and finding anyone affiliated with this individual and this company. Mark was short with me and offered no solution when asked, "well what do you suggest I do because if no one is going to respond to me until you hire more people, train them, then shovel the fax machine out to continue the appointment process, then how are services supposed to be rendered"? He said nothing but "wait util we clear the fax machine and get around to returning calls". Kept cutting me off and wouldn't allow me to speak. The absolute nerves. OK! LET ME JUST LET EVERYONE KNOW HOW BASURA YOU ARE.

There's a kind of warm energy buzzing through it. When I walked in, a few staff members immediately checked in with me--offered help, asked if I needed anything, and seemed like they meant it. It's the kind of place where you don't feel like an inconvenience for just... being there. Dr. Barton himself? Warm, sharp, unhurried. He asked specific questions, zero judgment, no rush--just actual conversation. You can tell he likes his job and takes it seriously. Also? He's a lot more personable than you'd expect from someone who's double-board-certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology. (Which sounds a bit like a Marvel super-scientist resume, but I digress). ‍‍ Bottom line: if you're looking for a doctor who listens, thinks out loud with you, respects your time, and actually gives a damn--Dr. Barton checks every box, and then some.

I always have gone to this facility to maintain my health and have any health scares checked up. I never thought that now would be the time to go have my eye sight checked. I had been putting the idea off because I hadn't experienced any eye problems till now. I have been working on computers constantly and having to read small fine print from clients who can't make their paper work readable to my naked eye. Instead off trying to break down there writing into several small portion paragraphs for me to read off. They communicate one giant paragraph that's super long with no breaks in the paragraph. So I have been reading this material most recently and have been leaving my computer with horrible headaches and the difficult ability to focus my eye's to normal vision after being off of the computer for while. I have been experiencing blurred vision. I have been seeing another doctor for physical therapy for pain in my neck and in my back. I always undergo being asked a series of questions of side effects that I may have been feeling since experiencing the neck and back pain. One thing that I brought up to the doctor was my blurred vision and the severe headaches. She made the suggestion as well as one of the physical therapy therapist to go have my eye's checked. Both my parent's do wear glasses and I don't live a healthy lifestyle to be as lucky to have 100% great vision. So I took my physical therapy doctor's words into consideration. I don't know if anybody is like me where one gets nervous at trying something new for one's self. Well, I do... I went to my appointment and to my surprise, Kaiser Permanente is getting more technically inclined. I say that there was five different way's that I could check-in into my appointment and that's conveniently wonderful. The receptionist who checked me in at the vision center was very nice. I first had seen her counting money because of a customer that paid her such a big amount of money in big bills. I remember those day's when I was a Cashier. I figure that I would be polite and let her finish dealing with the customer a head of me and the money. She did acknowledge me and let me know that she would take care of me soon. The vision center is small but structured in such an organized way. Their organized way is checking-in the patients first and then having them go wait in the lobby which is pretty average size seeing the constant foot traffic of Kaiser Patient's. My nurse who checked me into a vision room was very nice and had let me know that any of the equipment being used for the eye exam was sanitary and SAFE. I trusted her judgement risking my eye's and placing my vision in her hands. I thought that the vision test was over, but that was just an eye sensory scan. The real test came when she walked me into a room that was bigger than the room of where she scanned my eye's. From there the actual vision doctor placed me on another machine which he also informed me that the machine was sanitary and SAFE, again trusted judgment. The exam was done pretty fast and efficiently. The doctor was kind and had patience with me because I was nervous. He would repeat commands if I needed him to if I didn't understand the command the first time. Long story short, he said that my eye sight is still pretty excellent, but I do need to where glasses. He said that I would only have to wear them when I'm on the computer or driving to supplement having full 20/20 vision. Man, glasses can be expensive if one want's all the add on's. I just stuck with a basic pair of glasses. I should be receiving my first pair of glasses in four to five weeks or even sooner. The woman in the glasses sales section was very nice and took my private information into consideration and also let me look around at my own comfort. She really crossed her T's and dotted her I's. She made sure for me that picking up my glasses would be available at a comfortable convenience and not their own. My visit wasn't as nerve-racking as much as I thought. The team seemed very good and efficient in my eye's. He!He!
