Just finished my second weekend stay at Remington Flats; was there last year as well. Great location, comfortable accommodations, HUGELY responsive owners. Stayed in the Autumn this time -- Hemingway last year. Apartment had a comfortable bed, nice living space, good coffee, and a couple of complimentary beers! I go to Fort Collins annually and plan to stay at the Flats again. Used to stay at the Best Western, but it's charmless and now VERY expensive. Remington Flats are the way to go. read more

Remington Flats is an awesome place to stay! The studio we were in (A-"Hemmingway) was absolutely adorable. Had a nice Ft Collins vibe with Key West flare. The bright paint and fun decor made us feel right at home. Everything was very clean and seemed to be well taken care of. Their check in style is different from your standard hotel, but I received an email and txt message with the door code and it was very easy. Private lot was nice too. They provide you with a lot of information on the immediate area and suggestions on where to eat, drink and socialize in Ft Collins. There are lots of special touches - fresh flowers (!!!), candy on the guest book, local brews and water in the fridge, several coffee selections at the Keurig and a Growler to use at select breweries in the area. The full kitchen was great - very well equipped. There is a huge walk-in closet that had a trundle bed and was a great spot to keep personal items out of the way. Also held extra pillows, a small fan and hangers for clothes. The bed is very soft, and we slept comfortably. It was very quiet, aside from a couple of trains. I don't mind that, but they did provide ear plugs in the night stand if you think that might be an issue. read more

Staying at Reimington Flats is a unique experience in a very quaint part of North Fort Collins. It offers quite a bit more than a clean, safe, and comfortable stay in a hotel. I stayed in the Autumn, one of the four studio apartments at Remington Flats. There are personal touches all over the place: an in-room coffee and tea bar with a Keurig and local Daz Bog coffee, a chalkboard above it with suggested things to do around Fort Collins, good beers in the fridge on arrival, and for a group, evenings around a cozy outdoor community fire pit. There are other optional amenities too, such as renting fat-tire bikes to cruise around town. All of this makes you feel very cozy and welcome, and keenly aware of how much the owners really care about your experience. The owners are locals themselves and they really know Fort Collins and what it has to offer. As mentioned above, Remington Flats is in the older north-side of Fort Collins, which has particularly charming feel, large trees around the neighborhoods, and lots of interesting local restaurants and businesses within walking distance. Remington flats is an amazing place to stay! Such a cute courtyard for hanging out around the fire pit, and each studio apartment has their own little patio to hang out on. The apartment was adorable with great recommendations for things to do and places to eat and drink in the area. Centrally located so you can walk to anywhere in old town and a quick drive to horsetooth or Poudre river. The owners were so accommodating and welcoming to us and our dog, they were available for anything you need by text which was so convenient! Perfect weekend getaway! What a cozy place. The kitchen has a 50's retro feel and cute touches throughout and ambient lighting and it's all dimmable to keep it extra cozy. We lucked into getting a studio at Remington Flats for the weekend of the first game at the new CSU stadium - and it completely made our trip. You feel like you have a home to come and go from, it's so comfortable and located right in the middle of everything in town. Loved having a little kitchen where we could enjoy Keurig coffee and free wifi at our cozy little kitchen table or the arbor-covered courtyard in back. Offstreet parking helpful and free. Water and New Belgium beers in the fridge to enjoy. Owners Annie and Doug are wonderfully gracious and helpful with local recommendations and showing you around. They hosted a fun backyard tailgate party for the game where we had some great egg sandwiches from Snack Attack (also worth a visit) along with cold beers and bloody Marys...what regular old hotel does that? They really exude the true meaning of "hospitality." Only one problem...we failed to make time to borrow the cool cruiser bikes they offer while you stay. Should have done that nice easy ride around town. If you're in Ft. Collins for fun or business, definitely check out Remington Flats as the way-way-better alternative to the city's dicey budget hotels and boring chains. read more

Incredibly cute and quaint with very friendly management. I was already 100% satisfied with the location and the room, and then I found out that a free bike rental came with our stay! So not only did we have a private parking lot, but we never had to move our car out of it. We just rode cruiser bikes around the city instead. A++! To make everything EVEN sweeter, the room had free snacks, a couple free beers in the fridge, and a well-stocked Keurig machine. It was bright, colorful, and well-decorated, which satisfied me greatly. And I just can't get over how incredibly welcoming and accommodating the owner was! Check in time was officially 3p, but my husband and I arrived early, and we were able to check in without any hassle. I would definitely stay here again if I ever have to chance! 10/10! read more

Needed a quiet break and just happened across Remington Flats. Adorably bright, it's hard to miss! Convenient location. No one was in the office on a Thursday afternoon, but made a reservation online and wandered downtown for an early dinner. Received a friendly text with all my check in information and let myself in. Immediately felt relaxed and at home. Clean, bright, warm, comfortable! Kitchen was stocked with K-cups, assorted snacks, water and even a couple beers! Enjoyed a night cap, turned up the heat and just chilled for a bit. Ear plugs if you need them, but it was a quiet night. Free wifi and fresh flowers helped me wake up in the morning. My husband and I stayed here for 1 night in early October (Columbus Day weekend I believe). We wanted a quick little getaway close to home (Denver) but didn't want the typical hotel experience. We loved every single thing about our studio at Remington Flats. From the complimentary beers and bottled water, to the cute caffeination station to the RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING giant cookie from local business Mary's Mountain Cookies. (Yes that is a totally shameless plug for them, we liked it so much we went by there before leaving town and bought a dozen). The flat was very cute, very clean, adorable bathroom. We did do a lot of walking about town so weren't in the studio a whole lot, but we enjoyed every minute that we were there. We can't wait to return! read more

This is one of the neatest little "Bed and (not) Breakfast" in all of Colorado if you are lucky enough to get a room here for a night or a week don't miss it. Ann and Doug the owners are on-sight, extremely helpful and you can tell they love what they do. The studio condo has a nice kitchen and everything you will need for a short stay. They even have the coolest bikes that are for the guest to use - Fort Collins is a bikers heaven. We jumped on the bikes headed 1 street over and going south were on the college campus headed north and were in "old town" Fort Collins which has fantastic restaurants and shops made for hanging out and having fun. We loved the location of this hotel and it had a lot of great little features - beers in the fridge when we arrived, a local cookie and coffee in their "caffination station". The bed was small but comfortable and the rest of the room and furniture we're totally fine and cute. My main issue is that when we arrived, we look around a bit and noticed some things that we didn't really expect when staying at a "hotel". There was a half eaten bag of chips in the cabinet along with a box of pasta and can of green beans and open/used butter and cream cheese in the fridge. In the bathroom, there was a razor and a single maxi pad in one of the drawers. After making these discoveries, we were just kind of grossed out and really didn't feel like the unit was very clean. Normally, we would have called the management but we were only staying one night and it was later in the evening. They only have an "emergency number" for late calls so we decided to just stay the night and head out early the next day. Also, they didn't offer any shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. in the bathroom. I get that this is a unique spot, but they do call themselves a hotel (Remington Flats Studio Hotel is what is on their sign in the front) and I just think people have certain ideas of what to expect in a hotel. We didn't bring any shower items because we assumed they would be provided as they have been everywhere else we've ever stayed. I think they have a great building here and some cute rooms as an alternative to your standard hotel. There are just some things that I think need to be tightened up and refined to make this an ideal place to stay. read more
