I cannot fathom how beautiful this place is! The cottages are cute with your own private jacuzzi & the views are outstanding! Daily breakfast is served and it is so yummy! The owners are awesome and very helpful. As well as attentive. We will be back soon!

The massage room! So cute and quaint!

Wow. I booked a stay in the Encantado cabin with my husband, my brother and my sister in law. We had a fabulous time. The location of the cabin is PERFECT. You can hear the river quietly from your room and you fall asleep listening to the gorgeous sounds of the forest around the cabin. The resort is about 8 minutes from town and 12ish minutes to RMNP. We saw some wildlife on the grounds- bunnies, squirrels, and elk. The cabin itself is so ADORABLE! Pinterest worthy! It's cozy and inviting, with a wonderful clean hot tub featuring great views of the stars on the porch and a there's a heater in the bathroom!! Each cabin has its own private area to relax next to the river which is wonderful on a cool evening. They have lighted pathways that make you feel like you're in a fairytale story at night. My sister in law and I purchased massages with Scott on the grounds and it was AMAZING after a long hike! The massage room is super cute and comfortable and right on the river! Every staff member we met ensured we were having a great time and everyone went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. 5/5 I will be staying at this resort for years to come! I just can't say enough good things about this place. Our stay here was an absolute dream!

This place is a hidden treasure!! My wife and I - and Dakota (our Labrador retriever) visited Dripping Springs this past week. It was the perfect getaway. We have traveled to CO for many years and have become a little spoiled. Here are our "must haves" when we visit. 1.) rustic cabin on river. 2.) privacy. 3.) dog friendly. 4.) fire pit Dripping Springs has all of these amenities and many more including private hot tub and 5 minutes from Estes and the entrance of RMNP. The management is friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely return for another visit.

We were on the 2nd floor (same as street level actually - you would go down go down floor to reach the ground floor rooms). I liked having no one above us. The room was large, with a mini fridge and a microwave, and little gas fireplace. Bed was comfy. There was also a live seat, chair and table. The room opened onto a shared balcony overlooking the lawn and the Fall River. The sound of the river is so great! The only drawback to the room was vary low water pressure in the bathroom. The whole property is non-smoking and I really appreciated that. The grounds are incredible. You can't hear any traffic - just the sound of the river. There is plenty of seating on the lawn so you can just relax and enjoy. No children allowed which also boosts the peace and tranquility. The hot tub room seems very new. It too faces the river so you can soak the sore muscles from hiking and still have a great view. I absolutely loved that they offer free s'mores kits in the lobby. Every night, they come out and light the fire pit, and we spent time by the fire each night! It was a nice way to meet other guests and such a treat to have the s'mored. It's a great, thoughtful extra that just puts them a notch above others.

The bathroom is tiny. It doesn't have any hooks for the towels or hand towels... The balconies overlooking the river are nice (but there are many, many places to stay along the creek that are updated and clean looking). The pool is a nice touch but it's old and looks like someone DIY-ed years ago. The vending machine didn't work with any of my bills when my very pregnant body needed a bottle of water. I popped in to check out the continental breakfast and walked out with only a tea. Just a bunch of cheap, sugary products (donettes, nutrigrain bars, hostess danishes). And I thought we were getting a great rate so it was worth staying at this older place but the very nice 3 star hotel yards away is the same price!! Like it's *fine*. It's certainly not worthy of 5 stars.

The front desk staff shortly called after booking the room to verify information and see if we needed anything special upon arrival. Room is simple but offered ample amenities for the price. Breakfast was simple and attended by staff and included fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, bagels, pastries, etc small grab and go. We didn't visit the pool/tub atrium that overlooks the breakfast area but it looks nice! Will return whenever in Estes and looking for a quick night getaway for a cheap price. Room and property are dated but the friendly staff, proximity to downtown, and price meets our expectations.

Close to downtown, beautiful nature sounds, easy to find, lovely room with a view to the river. We didn't really get any customer service experience since they give you a code for your door instead of a key card. Can't comment too much on that. The room was great, it had cups for water and coffee, plates, cutlery, a cutting board, and toaster, a fridge and well equipped for a short stay where you can bring your own snacks/food. Had a lovely time there.

It's a beautiful setting, but several issues impacted my experience. First, I felt the advertising was a bit misleading. I saw a pool listed on Orbitz, but I discovered there isn't a pool anywhere on the property. Instead, there are two above-ground hot tubs. I went to the one on the second level, but I found climbing the narrow metal stairs with wet feet to be a bit dangerous. I also noticed that the rooms are slightly dated and showing their age. In my room, the curtain rod was actually falling out of the wall, which told me they need to keep up with better maintenance. You should also know there is no lobby or front desk here; I just received a code via text message and entered it to get into my room. While efficient, it felt a bit impersonal. My biggest complaint, however, was the construction noise. I didn't realize they are currently expanding the inn and building two new buildings on the same lot. Unfortunately, my room was right next to the construction site, and I had to deal with loud noise all morning. I think this place has a lot of potential once the upgrades are done, but between the maintenance issues and the noise, I didn't find it to be the relaxing getaway I was hoping for.

The hotel is rich in history. Everywhere you look there is charm. We stayed in the "Cowboy Attic Suite". My mom immediately had an "experience". I heard a grandfather clock chime throughout our stay. I never saw one and forgot to ask where it was located. I love old clocks. My aunt had her own experience that woke her from her sleep. Everyone we encountered was nice and we appreciated the cander as we asked for their stories/experiences there. The bad....for what we paid, it was not worth it. The floor feels dirty. It is as though they have not thought to clean the carpets in quite some time. Under the bed is a nice layer of dust. The whole hotel could use a moist cloth and a good wipe down. The dust in the display cases throughout the hotel is obvious and off putting. We met Hannibal. Wish we would have booked the seance, but alas, we ran out of time. He was a hoot to talk to.
