Trying different places in Estes park, we were quite pleased to have found this one! Not on the beaten path, but close to great restaurants, a bit of a drive over the neighborhood dirt road. But comprised of many acres on a river and distinctive rooms make this a great place to visit. We stayed in the largest room with a jacuzzi for Friday and Saturday nights and really enjoyed the larger space. Next time we will likely try a room actually in the main building. Great breakfasts each day with recipes from the owner prepared by the local management team. From our perspective however a disappointment was they are apparently quite popular for wedding receptions that are smallish but otherwise fill the common area room. The disappointment was regular guests couldn't enjoy the real wood fireplace and many treats in the common room during the afternoon. And in the evening the staff went home and the fireplace was no longer lit. There were receptions Friday and Saturday. When you reserve you may want to check on the wedding situation if that is important to you. read more

Oh so pleased with this experience! Been to Estes more times than we can count and this stay will never be forgotten! We stayed here with another couple in early August. We each had our own suite/room. The rooms are very comfortable each room is uniquely decorated (pics don't do it justice) and has everything you need. Breakfast was nice and so was the service. Many special occasion guests there but didn't impact us at all. Would definitely return! read more

We loved the quiet atmosphere, the delicious breakfast, free snack bars and water, nature, and the close proximity to the entrance to RMNP, which is less than a 10-minute drive. There are several restaurants nearby, so you don't have to drive to busy downtown Estes Park. We highly recommend it. read more

The home made breakfast was so fresh and delicious, and they even made vegetarian food just for me. We spent two nights at RiverSong Inn last week. The "romantic" part of the name made me ask if the Inn was appropriate for my mother and I to stay, while we attended a wedding and I was given a resounding "yes!'. I am glad it was because it was a pleasure staying. The Inn is very secluded and quiet. Nothing fancy but CLEAN with a super comfortable bed. The room itself felt like "glamping" to me - no heat/air/television; but, comfortable room with wood stove and indoor plumbing :-) Breakfast was perfection. With COVID precautions still being in place, we elected to take our tray down to the riverside and enjoy breakfast with the bunny rabbits . . . HIGHLY recommended! The Inn Keepers were so friendly, and helpful. Made us feel right at home! read more

The food was 5 star and the host and others were so nice and amazing. We are already looking at when we want to go back. I have recommended this to at least 3 people so far. Absolutely amazing stay! This place is perfectly set up for romance. They have about 27 acres for you to roam as you please. We really enjoyed hiking up their private mountain. We were treated to breakfast in bed on New Year's day and I really appreciated that they put thought into it and served cabbage and beans in a breakfast burrito. The next morning we went to the main house for breakfast and it was also delicious. Get their hot cocoa! Our room was so relaxing and romantic. I appreciated that there was no tv but lots of board games and books. The floors are heated which was especially nice since it was below zero when we were there. read more

Best spot in Estes! The pictures don't do it justice. Every little detail it thought of, and the staff are incredible. I haven't experienced hospitality of that level in a very long time. We will absolutely be staying here again. Amazing rooms, high quality comfortable beds. The bath tubs are to die for and they even provide bubble bath. The breakfast is a true homemade delicious breakfast, not trying to be too fancy or heavy. The grounds are gorgeous! They even have a hiking trail up the mountain, and provide snowshoes and poles at no charge. Also, they have a fun murder mystery for you to solve that starts in your room and continues around the grounds. They've thought of everything! read more

This was hands down the best place that we have ever stayed. We got the elopement package for our wedding and everything was taken care of for us. The ceremony was small and intimate, the views were incredible, the room was luxurious, and all of the extras that came with the package exceeded our expectations. Cheryl was so easy to work with leading up to the date and handled so many things that we didn't have to think about. So much care and love was put into the grounds, the rooms, the food, the amenities, and the wedding packages. Everyone was kind and welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. So delightful and a needed break from the city! We went for 2 night getaway mid week. It was so nice during this off-season time. The area was and Estes was quiet but still not dead. We stayed in the Morning Glory room. It was in another building outside of the main lodge. Warm, large, private and comfortable. We enjoyed the soaking tub and the added touch of bubble bath for use. The bed was so comfortable! The room has a small fridge, kettle and coffee maker along with essential wine glasses and corkscrew. We enjoyed the reading nook with the super comfy loveseat. While in the mountains it was the perfect balance of quiet but not completely disconnected offering great complimentary WiFi service. I still had to work a bit both days and the connectivity was essential for me. The breakfasts were delicious, coffee brewed fresh and service of staff just kind and personable. Loved the little touches of yak tracks, walking poles, hand warmers, coffee, bottled water and treats available all day in the main lodge. Not only useful for hiking but the treats are so Yum! We will go back and enjoy the reprieve from the city again. read more

We stayed at the Romantic RiverSong Inn for a couple days for a getaway. I did a significant amount of researching hotels and cabins in the Estes Park area. We decided on RRI because the cabins and grounds looked really nice and well kept. The reviews also mentioned that the breakfasts were good, which they were! Holly and staff did an excellent job in making guests feel welcome. They do a great job in making sure that needs are met to ensure a pleasurable stay. We rented Cowboys Delight cabin, which was really nice! Next time we are in the area, we will be back! read more

Lovely B&B. My husband and I had a wonderful experience here. We stayed at the "Cowboy Delight" suite. The suite is roomy, has a private jet hot tub (inside), and has all the comforts of home. The two course breakfast was delicious in the mornings, and I never lacked coffee :) I was very pleasantly surprised by the size of the property which featured access to a river and a mini hike! I cannot imagine a more perfect B&B! We drove into Estes Park on US36 from Boulder on Saturday during a Celtic festival that was going on in the town (people in kilts everywhere). In spite of being warned about massive traffic jams, Waze got us to the Romantic RiverSong Inn without frustration. The inn's name derives from its being totally romantic and being situated next to the Big Thompson River, which at this location, is the size of a brook. However, it flows mightily along with lovely burbling sounds. We watched a raven devour a fish on one of the rocks in the middle of the stream. There are cabins, trailer hook-ups, and a main house with several suites, a comfortable common area with views of the Rockies, and the breakfast room. Other meals can be arranged, and the common room has home-baked goodies, tea, and coffee all day. Bottles of water are also provided for guests in a refrigerator they can use to store perishables. Other features of the property include breath-taking hiking trails with magnificent flora. Our suite consisted of a sitting area, two steps down to a bedroom with comfortable king-size bed, a skylight, a ceiling fan, and a fireplace. The bathroom was located off the sitting area, thereby necessitating negotiating two steps up from the sleeping area if one were to need to use it in the middle of the night. Our bathroom consisted of a two-person bathtub with a skylight and an array of adjacent electric candles, but without a whirlpool function. A separate glassed-in shower enclosure included a whimsical showerhead created from what appeared to be an old watering can! There was also a single sink and a toilet stall without a separate door. Angie, our hostess, was more than gracious, and each morning presented a creative two-course breakfast. Although not a standard part of the morning menu, a mimosa was produced on request. Upon check-in, Angie reminded us to lock our rental car as the bears in the neighborhood had become adept at opening car doors to search for edibles. The shopping area of Estes Park is about a 10-15 minute drive away. We had a disappointing dinner at The Rock Inn, much closer than town, and saw a doe and an elk cow on the way back to the B&B. We had a much better dinner at The Stanley Hotel, not to be missed. On departing, we drove west into Rocky Mountain National Park. A park entrance is quite close. Spectacular views were soon all around us! read more

Great value at beautiful location! The romantic BnB is situated on 26 beautiful river-side acres which also butt up against limitless hiking trails. I was surprised at how gorgeous the grounds were and how close we were (6 min drive?) to the Rocky Mountain National Park Beaver Meadows entrance. (It's not too bad if you're in before 10am.) Oh man. My husband and I just did their murder mystery weekend, and it was our first time at RiverSong. Let me just say, we were nervous. I had never stayed at a B&B before, and neither of us were at all convinced that a murder mystery weekend could be anything but ridiculous. WE WERE SO WRONG! From the SECOND we arrived, we were treated like family. Everyone was so ridiculously friendly and considerate, and they do their jobs so well it's insane. The owners joined us in the game and they (and everyone else) were SO GOOD and such a joy to roleplay with. Not only that, but our room was spotless and GORGEOUS, had a giant bathtub and bed, and such a lovely homey feel. I was especially enchanted by the heated floors. In addition, when one of the owners (Crystal) found out we were keto, she went out of her way to ensure that the people doing the meals were informed and we were given the most amazing food. Not only that, but not once did they ever make us feel like our restriction was an inconvenience, they just served us like everyone else and our food was some of the best I have EVER had. In short, we loved this place. We weren't even halfway through our visit before we were talking about coming back. An idyllic place to stay when in Estes Park! We have stayed at the Stanley and in condo-like inns, but the Romantic RiverSong Inn beats all of them hands down. The innkeepers have thought of every last detail, from an eclectic library in each room and board games, to epsom salt bubble bath for much needed hot tub soaks after long days of hiking in RMNP. The beds are VERY comfortable and the bedding is divine. The rooms are spotless and are much more beautiful and spacious than the photos convey. Each room has a fireplace. Wood and a starter log are provided each day. The towels and bathrobes are thick and luxurious. Breakfast is delicious and hearty--we usually weren't hungry again until dinner. The homemade cookies in guest services are so good, and they even made some just for me that were dairy free! We plan to the Romantic RiverSong Inn time and again! read more

Stayed in Shooting Star for two nights. Bed was super comfy, sheets were soft, blankets wonderfully warm. The robes were inviting and soft. Jetted tub was outstanding under the stars of a clear night sky. We lit the log in the fire and just chilled in the tub to some soft tunes on our iPad, completely washed away our stress. Breakfasts were awesome, warm apple granola mix with a dollop of cream was like having apple pie for breakfast, banana pancakes were so delicious. When you arrive they ask about your dietary needs and allergies. The afternoon cookies were awesome and vegan which made me extra happy, I love extra healthy stuff snuck in. There's a basket of fruit on the living room coffee table with various flavors of fig bars so grabbing a quick smack as you head out is easy. There's a fridge and microwave in the guest area so you reheat leftovers or whatever. They also keep bottled water in there free of charge. The staff is so wonderful you feel like you're talking to a friend. We came in Saturday afternoon, went to dining room and we're grabbing cookies, Noun popped his head out of the kitchen and said "busted", it was a good laugh and a total screwing with friends kinda moment. They have 26 acres to explore that back into national forest. We highly recommend their trail out back that's lined with 7 benches as you climb up. At the very top we found a hammock and a flat area to just sit and enjoy the view. We hike every weekend so this was perfect for us. We couldn't have chosen more perfect accommodations. read more
