I bought a Groupon for 3 session of laser tattoo removal with the Medlite 6 Laser They charge HST on the price of the groupon when you get there. This is kind of a normal thing for Groupon purchases so I didn't find it odd They of course tried to up-sell me to Picosure laser as soon as my consultation was done but I budget myself very much so politely declined. They warned me of bubbling or skin discoloration that might occur which was good but I didn't experience either of these things. I went in yesterday for my 1st/3 sessions and I checked my tattoo this morning and IT IS HALF GONE. The tattoo wasn't too big to begin with but wow I must have set my expectations super low because I am really happy with the result. The artist who gave me this little F had such a heavy hand so I was worried that this bad boy was just not going to fade. I am a healthy gal - I got to the gym 5x a week, I drink a lot of water, I eat relatively healthy and I get my 8h of sleep (sometimes 10 - I live that Granny life) so this helps with the healing process I think. Laser removal just breaks up the ink molecules and your body does the rest of the work. I think this is something that people fail to realize. I have a high pain threshold so this didn't hurt for me. I bought a groupon for 3 sessions and before the first session even started they tried to sell me a package of 6 sessions at what they called a "discount". I politely declined and said after the 3 sessions I would judge the progress and then decide. After that they seemed a little cold towards me. Anyways after 3 sessions of pain, bleeding and blistering I still don't see a difference. I've taken pic myself to view progress and the difference is little to none. I recently bought 3 sessons from groupon and they charged me HST on the price of the groupon which I will dispute on my next visit. Then the groupon I had purchased was for a machine that wouldn't be effective on my tattoo which was heavy on green and blue. I had done quite a bit of research on tattoo removal prior to attending so was aware that different machines were more or less effective on different colours. There was, of course, a hard sell to upgrade to this machine along with a further 25% discount from the inflated price but after spending a further $200, I am beyond happy with the result. After just one treatment my tattoo has faded signifiantly in the blue/ green areas. Very happy with treatment. read more

Today, their staff called me again if i want an appointment. I had a horrible experience with them which made me depressed. They made a scar on my face by a laser treatment. Don't go there if you are looking for a treatment on your face. they could ruin your face and your life. I had a laser done on my face and it burned my skin. They should have provided ice pack to bring home and requested the customer to ice immediately. but they did not and the reception even told me if I dont' feel hot on the skin, I dont' need to ice.which is wrong. The reception should have not given suggestion if she is not a laser specialist. I got a blister when I got home and the skin was so horribly red. If it was iced properly, this would not happen. now after the blisters dropped, the area on my face where they did laser was lower than the surrounding which formed a scar. When I called them, they said you signed a consent agreement. They used the agreement to protect themselve and they don't care if they ruin your skin and the face. The lady who did the laser for me was in rush. she is not caring about what she is doing. she does not know she operates on someone's face!!!. because they have the consent agreement, so if they make mistake and ruin your face,they dont'care, Dont go there for laser, they are NOT professional, knowledagable and responsible. read more

I finally decided it was about time I got rid of my tattoo which used to make me look incredibly cool but alas maybe not so much any more. I had heard about Precision Laser from an acquaintance who said great things - her tattoo was totally gone! I checked out other reviews and did some research too and decided they use top notch equipment. Really warm atmosphere - the clinic itself and especially the people. Their initial consultation (free) was really good, particularly because I didn't feel they were just telling me what I wanted to hear. It was going to take many treatments and many weeks in between, and they prepared me for it to hurt (which it does btw - although the cooling machine helps a LOT). I bought the package and I'm glad I did - a bit pricey upfront but will be the cheapest way to go. I've had 3 treatments so far, great fading. Can't wait to finish up! read more

I purchased a groupon coupon for three laser session in the summer. I found the staff to be very supportive in regards to my anxiety about the pain of the removal. I tried to my first session without any numbing cream but needed to stop and do the numbing after less than a minute of treatment. The technician applied the cream and gave it 30 minutes to work. The pain was tolerable after the cream was applied. I will be going in for my third session tomorrow with the picosure laser. So far the blue, green and purple portions of my tattoo have disappeared. The stronger black portions are fading more slowly and the red portions are still quite bright. The technician has suggested that the red portion may need to be treated using another laser. I would recommend Precision to anyone who asks me about it. In my experience the staff are supportive, professional and knowledgeable in regards to which laser is best for which inks. read more

First off, a word of advice to my Yelpers considering a tattoo OR removal of a tattoo: tattoo removal is much more painful AND much more expensive than getting a tattoo in the first place. Do your research and think carefully before proceeding down either path. I have a small tattoo on my inner arm about 4" long that I'm in the process of removing at Precision Laser, as I don't want any visible tattoos at my new workplace. I snagged the Groupon that offers 3 sessions with the MedLite C6 laser for $116. THE GOOD: - Overall, I had a very positive and professional experience. The waiting room is white and chic. Upon arrival, I filled out a consent form with questions around my medical history and how my skin responds to wounds, tanning, etc. I then met with the specialist, Marina, in a room that resembled a doctor's office with a large reclining chair in the centre. - Marina explained to me how laser removal works, what I could expect during and after each treatment, and how many sessions it would realistically take to remove my tattoo. Removal depends on many factors, including how long you've had the tattoo, quality of the ink, how healthy you are, etc. She was knowledgeable and very thorough. - My first round of laser took less than 10 seconds. I won't lie - it's a very long, very painful 10 seconds with a powerful burning sensation - but it wasn't unbearable. She hooked me up with two massage balls to squeeze throughout. - The clinic gives you very detailed aftercare instructions, which ensures you have the best outcome possible from your treatments. It's been just over 24 hours for me, and I have just the tiniest bit of redness - no blisters or bruising. THE BAD: - This isn't necessarily bad, but rather a forewarning: the Groupon covers only the cheaper of their two laser treatments (MedLite C6). Although 3 sessions are included with the Groupon, it typically takes at least 6 sessions to fully remove a tattoo. I paid for another 3 sessions upfront, bringing the total cost of my Groupon and additional sessions to just over $700 for 6 sessions total. It's still a good deal - without the Groupon, you're looking at over $1,000 for 6 sessions on a tattoo similar to mine (see their website for full pricing details). - The other laser, PicoSure, will remove your tattoo in fewer sessions (typically 2-4). I was quoted over $2,000 for this option. I think you can guess which way I went. As 6 weeks are required between each session, I still have a long way to go before this tatty is gone for good. With that said, I am happy with my Precision Laser experience, and I hope this review can help others looking to take the plunge. read more

I have had 3 removal appointments using PicoSure, the more expensive and quicker machine, and there has been absolutely no change to my tattoo - it looks exactly the same as the day I got it. When I started removing it, it was only 6 weeks old; tattoos are supposed to be easiest to remove before 6 months. It is on my wrist, a place with lower circulation, but after 3 appointments and absolutely zero results, as well as talking with other people who have had numerous tattoos removed, this is not normal. I would not recommend coming here: they are using a weak intensity setting on the laser to extend the number of appointments and make more money. read more

Ripoff, conniving place. I called to ask if I could use the Groupon and book a session. They informed me that I will get the Groupon price at the store and to not purchase it. When I had gone in told me that I could NOT get the Groupon price since I had previously done treatments on this tattoo. The price went from $50 (Groupon price) to $233 and I left. The place I normally go to charges 3 times less and uses the same laser. It is disappointing that Precision lies to its customers to get them through the door. read more

So far I'm happy with the results. The tattoo is fading and I can't wait until it's all gone. I chose the unlimited package as I wanted to make sure that the entire tattoo will be gone. The staff are friendly and the clinic is a nice space. read more

I also bought a groupon from these folks and also felt that I did not get my moneys worth. Their scheme works to get you in and try to up-sell you on buying a package. Then they will harass you by calling you. Careful cause they turn the intensity down of the laser as well. Not worth you time or money. read more

This place is NO GOOD! I went here for around two years. The whole time they kept leading me along with a pack of lies. Over 15 treatments later and my tattoo just looks patchy now but still very much there. They kept saying to me oh we will try a different wave length this time... or oh it just takes a few treatments to see real progress start...needless to say they never worked. Then on one of my final treatments I used a different lady at the clinic and she slipped up and was like, your chart says they have been using the same setting.... She proceeded to tell me there was a better machine that I should be using that they have that would take less treatments. Now ill talk about the small fortune I spent at this place. I was WAY over charged. They had me do several treatments saying that this was the cheapest I could get them. It was only after treatment 8 that they said they had a student discount I should have been using. They told me this only after learning that I had just graduated and they refused to give me the discount now or apply it to the treatments I did when I was a student. After treatment number 12 she had told me about this other better machine that would cost me twice the amount for some reason. Like a fool I payed them the amount thinking it would be different. It worked about the same. On my final treatment, after having paid thousands upon thousands of dollars, the owner told me I should have paid the one time fee, which was less than a quarter of my total bill to date, and gotten unlimited removals!! Well I asked if I could start that now and he insisted on me paying the fee to start that program...even though I had already payed well over that fee. All these discounts and this unlimited treatment thing existed the whole time..so why would they not tell me about them?!? They may come across as nice and even offer you a bottle of water each time you come in the door, but my suggestion is save your money and go somewhere better that won't screw you around. This place will way over charge you every chance you get and take literally zero responsibility for the outcome of their service, leaving them to feed their clients a bunch of bull about laser strengths that they aren't actually doing anything with, without any consequences for zero results. - Signed, Guy with a stupid looking spotty tattoo that was better before the big waste of money removal treatments from these scam artists. read more
