She made it sound like some miracle cure, so like an idiot, I fell for it and bought a package of three sessions. Fast forward to today: two sessions down, $1200 gone, and guess what? ZERO improvement. Not even a tiny bit. When I told her I didn't see any change whatsoever after two sessions, she had the nerve to say, "Oh no! It's not working. You should now try PRP. It will work." Are you kidding me? Now I'm supposed to fork over even more money for another treatment because the first one was a total joke? I still have one session left, but seriously, what's the point? They've already got my money, so they clearly don't give a damn anymore. No follow-up, no care for the customer--just take the cash and run. This place is a scam! False promises, zero results, and completely unprofessional. If you're in the mood to waste your money and be treated like garbage, then by all means, book an appointment.

The employees were extremely professional, and the technician did an amazing job! A Silk Peel Facial uses a technique that is better than dermabrasion. During the process, the machine cleans your pores and immediately infuses them with a serum to moisturizer the skin. This ensures your skin gets the most benefits out of the facial. At Q Esthetics, they have different cleansers and serums for different skin types. A few days before my facial, I had an allergic reaction that made half my face break out in a pimple like rash. I was slightly nervous the serum would make the rash a bit worse. The technician inspected my skin and told me I should be okay. She used two serums on my face. She used one for the breakouts on my rash and a hydrating one on the rest of my face. It's been two days and my skin looks great! The Silk Peel is supposed to give you a nice glow that lasts. My skin is glowing and I didn't break out from the facial. I am definitely a believer and will return for another Silk Peel Facial. As I was leaving, I was sent home with a goody bag (seen in the photos) including a sample of their medical grade cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen (they know I go swimming a lot), a thank you card, eye cream and a foundation. I found this extra touch a really nice gesture that made the experience one of the best. I'm so glad I went to this spa to try this facial. From there, they were able to give me a price estimate, match me with a suitable artist, and schedule my appointment. They required an $80 + tax deposit (nonrefundable) which is deducted from the total price of the tattoo. I did have to reschedule my appointment once, which they accommodated. However, their rules/fine print does seem a bit complicated for rescheduling if you need more than two. Upon entering the shop, there was no one at the front desk (I had an 11:00 AM appointment), but another artist working there pointed me towards the waiver. My artist came in and seated me, then we discussed the tattoo I wanted. She was able to make the requested changes to the type (I got a script tattoo) on the spot, and we got to tattooing! I had Athena and she made me feel super comfortable throughout the experience, making sure to check in on me every few minutes. The interior has a great design, is sanitary, and filled with nice artists and staff. I also love that there's such a high quality, reputable tattoo shop in Markham! (And I didn't have to make the trip downtown) I'd love to come back here!

I did a fair amount of research before deciding on coming back here for cumulative treatment. What I like about this place specifically is that it's in effect a "no frills" clinic. I.e, it's high value because you'll pay less than other higher end places, but still get the same service. The space is extremely clean and comfortable, and the staff are decent. For half the price, I might be giving up a grand entrance and multiple staff swooning over me, but when i'm anticipating 15+ laser sessions, the cost differential just wins for me.

What bothered me most was that she was at least 5mins short of my 45mins massage, so I basically lost over $12 given that massages at hotels are so expensive. The perk is that you can use their gym if you get a service with glow. But given my experience this time, it's unlikely that I'll be coming back.

I did slip 3x, but I was apparently the only one, as my 3 companions had no issue. There is a sign in the room warning of the slippery floor when wet, and there is the option to put a towel on the floor. Be careful going in, the water is HOT. Also be mindful, there is a drain plug at the back of the tub in the middle (by the tree blossoms side). We were in the middle taking a group photo and didn't realize the drain was pressed and popped up. The water drained very, very quickly. We turned on the faucet both hot and cold side, for about 15mins but the water levels didn't really return, so we had about 3 inches of water for the rest of the time lol. Second session with my husband, they called me the day before to let me know the milk bath was unavailable and we switched to the detox bath. The water was a dark colour but it was still a nice experience. Staff are very friendly. They knock on your door about 20 mins before your time is up. The booking time includes getting ready to go in and out. There is a shower in the room to rinse and cool off. The staff recommended a cool shower every 20 mins so not to get too heated. The snacks included some veggies (cucumber, Carrot, celery) and dip, Ritz crackers, and unfortunately, peanuts. I am mildly allergic to peanuts, fortunately non-anaphylaxic. They really shouldn't use peanuts or any nuts imo. There was a notice on their Instagram that said they will be shutting down the tubs after March 2025.

We signed up for the Maple room, and it was a beautifully decorated space with a square tub full of milky water, a little calligraphy table, and a shower. First of all, this is a perfect place for a photoshoot. From the aesthetics, to the Kimono they give you, to the little rose petals, it's a wonderful place to set up some amazing shots. Having said that, it is all a little "fake" feeling. The water didn't leave my skin feeling particularly nourished. The rose petals were cloth that were kind of frayed and used. And of course, it's less of an onsen and more of a hot tub experience. All that is fine though as long as you don't expect it to be anything more than that. There were also a few things that fell a bit short of the "luxe" vibes this spa was giving. For one, they told us to text or call front desk if we needed anything. At some point, we wanted to look at a menu and I tried both texting and calling but didn't get any responses until the last 10 mins. Another thing was that the light wasn't turned on in the shower area in our room and we weren't sure if we were allowed to use it or not. Is this place worth it? I still think so, especially for a fun time with a couple of friends. The price is reasonable for 1.5 hours and you can go with 4 people in total, making it even more reasonable. There are some snacks and refreshments, as well as an array of skincare products you can use. It's a fancy hot tub that's very photogenic.
