Getting a massage at a convention center with EDM blaring in the background isn't usually conducive to effective massage therapy. And by the time Christina worked on me, she had been on her feet for the previous 2 days giving massages for 8-9 hours straight each day. (BTW -- people lining up for massages at a fitness convention are paying little to nothing for the service.) You'd think Christina would be phoning it in at this point, and YET -- She was amazing. She is so warm and caring. She really comes across as someone who is called to ease people's pain. Even though I was a convention attendee who would likely not see her again, she took time to ask me about trouble areas and find my areas of tightness. (I'm not local to Salt Lake City. Otherwise, I'd be regular client of Christina's immediately.) And she found those pesky knots in my neck and shoulders -- gave them some really nice focused work with just the right amount of pressure. She even used an essential oil concoction of her own making for my neck, which smelled lovely (bonus aromatherapy). Since I was her last client of the day (the convention was wrapping up) she had to turn people away. And even though she was exhausted, she told me how much she hated turning away people in pain. There were about 3-4 other massage therapists at the convention, but word had gotten out that Christina was the only one worth seeing. She was (and is) truly in a league of her own. She has 20 years of experience; she had a thriving business in Idaho before a recent relocation. It shows. I imagine it won't be long before she is once again booked weeks in advance. Again, if I lived in SLC, I would definitely take advantage of the fact that she's rebuilding and get in massage time with Christina. Oh -- she also has a location in Saratoga Springs. The idea of a non-invasive protocol that might help reduce pain levels and increase my mobility was too tantalizing. Could it help me? Indeed it did. Kiera took a comprehensive history, asking questions such as, did this happen or did that happen, and my startled response, "Well, yes." The injuries had been years ago. Yes, my balance was terrible. The exercises are tiny movements and right on the first session, we began working on my knees. I couldn't even remotely squat; the best I could do was a tiny dip and feeling like my knees were full of cold, stiff marshmallows. My knees had once been injected with cortisone and had only a couple of days relief. I wore them taped a lot. I stomped down the stairs one stair at a time because I couldn't bend my knees enough to go down "normally". Just turned 60 and this was as good as it was good as it was going to be? This first session yielded an improvement in my knees, and it's only been onward and upward. My pain levels have dropped, along with my mobility increasing. The pre and post test showed inches of deeper bend with less pain. I step lightly down the stairs without grabbing the railing and doing my "Frankenstein stomp". I can stand on one leg. I was reluctantly taking meds, and had an inkling that tight neck muscles may be causing my ailment. I reached out to Nancy asking if she could squeeze me in the following day - and I was so grateful that she did!! Nancy is magic. She was able to feel spots in my neck and back that I didn't know were knotted up. Without me saying - yikes, that spot has sensations - she was on it! Nancy even massaged the muscles in my face, and I had no idea how tense they were. I left feeling SO MUCH LIGHTER! Plus - woke up the next day migraine free. YES!!!! I've been trying to find the time and resources to try some of them, so this was a welcome opportunity. My tour was thorough and I really enjoyed the therapist who guided me through this state-of-the-art facility. She was very informative and obviously interested in finding the modalities that would best enhance my health and address my individual health challenges. Because I live almost 50 miles away, I will probably have to seek help closer to home, but I can absolutely recommend this Reenew Wellness Center. I would give them 5 stars if I had been able to have more experience with them.

I started going to Brandon at Massage fix last month for a a continuous non stop back muscle spasming condition that was also causing pinched nerves and pain in my back and arm. Sleeping was a struggle as well as sitting. I've been going to a great Chiropractor for months, but it literally wasn't until Brandon took me under his care that the pain started to subside, as well as a new rebalancing of my muscles and skeleton. Now 4 weeks later I have no pain or discomfort. His knowledge, expertise and touch is only matched by the incredible care and investment that he puts into every aspect of the treatment he gives. He also happens to be a super cool guy and all around great person at his core. Highly recommend!

She listens to your needs, and has unbelievable hands that found my problem areas with little direction. I left my appointment feeling euphoric, and felt better the next day skiing than I had the day previous. Once I realized how good I felt skiing the next day I immediately booked her for a second massage before my flight home. I really appreciated her ability to mix in different massage techniques (I.e. sports vs. deep vs. relaxation) throughout the massage. I had a massage with Lee, and I heard great things and was referred to him specifically, so I was…read morepretty excited. Sadly, I left more tense than when I went in. I asked to have my upper back & neck worked on. He spent the majority of time on my upper INNER thighs. Not only did he put *my* hands on *his* legs at some point while massaging me, but when I rolled over onto my back, he massaged my stomach (not requested, necessary nor was I given a heads-up), and he ended with both of his hands going between my breasts (again, not requested, necessary, nor ever appropriate). I will never be going back and I would not recommend going here to anyone!
