Instead of upselling me on a product or service, she was very honest and advised that I actually discuss with the original maker/manufacturer of the ring (Brilliant Earth) since this was a ring that she had seem with similar issues many years in the past. Because it was more of a "manufacturer issue", a simple fix/rebending of the stone prongs would likely only be temporary, and that this ultimately wouldn't be a good long-term fix. She recommended that we actually get the stone reset (by the manufacturer, not her), and that she would help answer questions if needed. Very polite, professional, knowledgeable. Really appreciate her honesty and willingness to divert business elsewhere because it was the right thing to do. I went to another jeweler in the area just for my own research, and they offered to fix it with "no guarantees for how long it would last". Andrea was honest and I really appreciate that.

Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing and honestly confusing. I came in with my newborn son and my mom, and after waiting a few minutes without being acknowledged we walked up to the front desk to ask for help. A staff member assisted us and showed a few bands. When I found one I liked, I asked if it could be made in yellow gold. She said she would check with the vendor and offered to clean my engagement ring so I could look at the bands with my clean ring. After a few minutes, she returned with my ring, and when I asked to try on another band, she told us she was now helping someone else and couldn't assist us further.This was surprising since she had been helping us the entire time up to that point. I was ready to move forward with purchasing a ring but never received an answer about pricing and was told no when I asked to see another option. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
