I have unique circumstances with a doctor out of state, and they are always incredibly accommodating, including the ultrasound tech. Their level of care and professionalism set such a high standard that I mistakenly assumed all offices would be the same--but after visiting the Northridge location, I quickly realized they are not. That experience only reinforced how grateful I am for the kindness, consistency, and excellent service I receive in Van Nuys. I'll be booking here every time. read more

First time here. A bit hard to find but on the grounds of Valley Pres Hospital. But I saw Laura Lee outside.... Laura Lee helped me confirm the building where I go in because she was outside walking in the building and I asked her where Renaissance Imaging is. She also checked me in for my imaging. She is very nice and helpful and patient. She's awesome! Sam was my imaging technician. He was so nice and made me feel at ease (since I was a little nervous, as it was my first time). He made me feel comfortable and explained what was going to happen step by step. Awesome guy! Came on a Thursday morning around 9am for an x-ray, didn't need an appointment and just walked in! The whole visit was only about 45 minutes from the time I got there, to the wait, and even getting my x-rays done. The staff is nice and helpful, and they validate parking! read more

I had my first breadt done at this imaging center the was very friendly office very cleani. Sheral Memmo the technologist made me feel so at ease know that it was my first breast imaging. My life has been so unexpectedly chaotic since July 2021. I've been to this location about 4 months ago for an MRI and CAT scan and I now have to go again in the upcoming weeks. I'm so sick of calling doctors' offices and sitting on hold for an hour, only for them to promise to call me back and failing to do so. A few days ago, I spoke with Karina, she told me she'd call me back, and to my surprise, she did. Karina followed up with my doctor's office, kept following up with me, and took care of pretty much everything I needed to get me in for an appointment. I was sent here to get a MRI from my primary at Facey. I have to say, it was very pleasant. The receptionist Loralee was very nice and helpful. The MRI tech, EVER was awesome. I like my doctor and I like his staff. They are very nice. They are also woefully inefficient and, in the past, they have caused me tons of wasted time and buckets of anxiety. So, I have learned to always call in and verify whatever it is I have to do before I leave the house. In this case, I needed to get my chest x-rayed. I call the office the morning I am going out to the imaging company to get the deed done. The office assistant told me that all I had to do was go there and tell them I needed it and reference my doctor. She told me that because of my insurance, I did not need a referral. I take her at her word. Big mistake. I went to the imaging company and, of course, the information I was given was incorrect. Now, my temperature beginning to rise. The person helping me at Renaissance Imaging, Livi, called my doctor's office and a female who was not completely fluent in English (not being disparaging - just a fact) answered and managed to communicate that she was the only one there and we had to call back in an hour and a half. Now remember, I am in the front of a line ready to go in and get this $#?@ done when I hear this happy news. Understated, I am pissed. This messes up my entire day. I thank Livi for trying and I leave in a wonderful mood... NOT! About an hour and a half later, Livi called me at home to tell me that she followed up, got the info that was needed, and we set an appointment to come in the next day to get what I needed to be done which I did and everything went smooth as glass after that. If you look up "going above and beyond" in the _______ (whatever book that you look those types of sayings up in), I am sure you would see a picture of the terrific and efficient Livi. It certainly was not my idea to spend the early morning hours hoofing it to Van Nuys and this joint for an MRI on New Years Eve. But after i thought about it for a bit and i decided it really does make sense to have this type of deep exam of my innards as i enter into the Golden years of my life. I mean we are almost required to have a colonoscopy every few years so why not an inside look at all the other organs and brain. Ok, yes this is me trying to validate my going through this but be that as it may: i have done it and it was not a bad experience at all. The worst part was driving to Van Nuys. I got to the facility early of course and walked in with the super pleasant and helpful front desk person, Laura Lee. She escorted me to the MRI room ominously looming on the side of the facility where i was greeted by the MRI tech, Ever. (yes: E V E R is the dude's name) Ever was chill, quiet and probably waiting for me to bolt. But it was not to be as i was determined to not do what my sister had done which was upon viewing the behemoth of the MRI machine....she hit the high road never to darken the door of whatever SB MRI joint she was at. I did a lot of Googling about this procedure which may or may not have calmed my frayed nerves before i met Ever and his magical mystery of an MRI orifice. It is basically a big tube. My scan took only about 15 minutes and yes it is noisy but i got into the beats and thought back to my Disco days dancing with Miss Gloria: so i was ok. When the scan was completed i asked Ever to share some freak out tidbits and we chuckled a bit about those for a minute. Ever and Miss Laura Lee made what could have been a nightmare into if not a dream then a palatable experience. I would be going too too far to say i would do it again, tomorrow. But i certainly do not regret having spent a little of my last day of 2021 thinking about dancing and rocking to the beats that MR MRI was putting out. Cheers! read more

My son and I were very blessed to have our MRI Tech, Surin, to be the person working with us tonight!!! He was extremely patient, informative, and supportive of my ten year old child, and I. Surin has a great personality, is positive, and has a great attitude too. He was able to assist me to be able to convince my son to have his very first MRI Scan of his Pituitary Gland, in his brain, with & without Contrast. It took him 1.5 hours to get the job done, rather than the 45 minutes normally allotted for such a procedure. My son was very scared to have the MRI done. So it took a lot of patience, kindness, and extra understanding on his part. I also get an A+ too, as I stood by my son's side, with headphones, for the entire procedure, comforting him, and touching his feet to soothe him. I will always have my child's back, and I am both blessed and honored to do so. read more

I had fantastic help at Renaissance Imaging Center getting an MRI from the Head (MRI) Technician, Rene, who did a great job taking me through everything, answering all my questions and keeping me well informed, feeling safe and comfortable getting through an MRI for the first time which can be a scary thing especially if you're a bit claustrophobic. The team at Renaissance was able to squeeze me in for an emergency MRI. All the staff were amazingly kind, supportive, and helpful from start to finish. All these types of procedures can be stressful, especially when you're injured. I was impressed by how all the staff were so patient-centered. From the little things like bringing all my paperwork to me since I was in pain, asking if I needed to use the lavatory before the procedures, or running to open the door for me, the staff anticipated my needs to make the process as painless as possible. They even offered water while I was waiting for my CD. The process was much quicker than I anticipated, with very little waiting. While I was waiting, I overheard another client thank the staff for being incredible, saying everyone there was great, so clearly I wasn't the only one that noticed! A+ service! read more

I never got to make an appointment since they made it so difficult to schedule it. I had an order for an MRI and asked to schedule as soon as possible. They were not helpful on providing proper information and the receptionist was annoyed with my questions about cost and whether there were options for open MRI. refused to listen to me or show me my paperwork and did not do the correct mri especially when I tried making sure multiple times its of the neck and they constantly told me no it is not when that was the main reason why I was coming and the tech also said the same thing and I come home to the copies and the paperwork does say neck and they keep telling me that's only an option and that it's one of the three and I told them if I kept telling the tech it was my neck then why did they not perform that and I work and have very little money for gas too so I've been out of luck on another appointment especially I drove 50 miles for this one. I have gone to this place twice, an x-ray and MRI both times were pleasant experiences. Staff is nice and helpful.

Came today for the first time for a pelvic and kidney ultrasound. First time to this location, I love the one in Northridge. It's a smaller location they only do ultrasound and MRI here. Amelia, I think was her name was my technician. She was friendly enough and so was the other staff. They do validate parking which is great. I came at 1:30 so there were parking spots available. Sometimes there isn't any here. All in all they took me in within about 15 minutes and I was out by 2:30. read more

I have been through a lot throughout this year. Heck who hasn't right? I'm 26 and I needed an MRI. I was nervous, scared etc you name it. From the moment I scheduled my appointment the person who helped me set up my appointment was extremely kind and patient. The day of my appointment same thing front desk ladies are kind and make you feel welcomed. The MRI technician, AVO is a god send he could just read me and noticed how nervous I was and literally walked me through every single step and suddenly my nerves were gone and I made it through the process thanks to this amazing staff. I went here to get my MRI's done and I told them I brought paperwork and my previous MRI scan on a CD for comparison. They stated they were able to access everything and did not even check if it was the same as my CD. When I got the results they compared my new MRI with the results from 2017. I called and told them I needed the results compared to the 2018 MRI and they stated it was fixed. When I went to my MD appointment they told me they compared it to 2017. Update after clarifying which results needed the comparison they stated they will fix it and send me the proper addendum. read more

Her service, attentiveness, the careful study and the care provided to him today was so amazing that I felt obligated to write this review. Came here for an MRI of my leg, I had injured my calf while playing tennis. The staff in the front was super nice and welcoming, they had me sit and wait until the MRI tech came to take me to the MRI room. Sam was the MRI tech that helped me out, he was very professional and made sure I was comfortable during the MRI. Since I am claustrophobic, I was worried about being in the MRI machine but Sam gave me a few helpful tips to relax while getting the MRI. I would highly recommend anyone in need of a MRI to come Renaissance Imaging and have Sam do your MRI. read more

Laura Lee, the very nice girl at the front desk was the high light of my visit here. The MRI I got was loud, boring and long. I hated every minute of it. It took 20 minutes to complete the process. I was referred by Mark Romoff, M.D. who is turning out to be a very good doctor. I still a Neurologist and of course my cardiologist, the latter which I have an appointment with on the 18th. I already have an appointment with Ramash Arora, cardiologist, whom Shehnaz Habib, M.D. recommended and was although I had to wait 45 minutes she seemed like a very dedicated doctor. read more

This location is clean, kind, caring, and extremely on point. I would trust them enough to keep requesting to come back to this location. When my incompetent nurse practitioner gave me the wrong imaging order, the technicians were smart enough to tell me that based on my diagnosis the authorization they asked for would be worthless. To save my time, they told me it would be best if I don't continue to waste another 30 mins taking a worthless image. Grateful they pointed it out and saved my time. read more

Where do I even begin to express just how great Renaissance Imaging is?? Not just the Van Nuys location but ALL their locations! I am starting with Van Nuys because one individual there, Marlene, is the seed of all the great service by their company to follow. It began with Marlene. You see, earlier this year I had a routine mammogram done at another imaging company whom I will refrain from mentioning. They missed a cancerous lump, but mostly because my tissue was so dense that it was hidden on the mammogram. Understandable. I, however, felt this lump with my fingers and returned to that inferior imaging center for ultrasound where they missed it there, too, because the ultrasound tech at that place had no idea what she was doing. So I was referred by my PCP for a second opinion ultrasound to be done at Renaissance Imaging, and that made all the difference in the world!!! It was Marlene who went straight to work and found me the soonest available appointment. I told her it didn't matter what location at Renaissance, just please hurry. And she did exactly that and sent me to the breast ultrasound masters over at their Northridge location. The tech doing the ultrasound readily found the lump. Next, Marlene expedited me an appointment to get me the biopsy asap, which was performed at Renaissance Imaging downtown. Sadly, the news wasn't good. It was cancer. I spoke with Marlene the day before my PCP was going to call me in to deliver me the news. Marlene held my hand, so to speak, reassuring me, "No matter the results, which I cannot disclose to you, you must go in and have that consultation. Either way, you need to follow up with your doctor." I did just that and it turned out, yeah ... it was cancer, but we detected it rather early enough. Marlene then went out of the way to get me all necessary reports and images. Much to my surprise, they found 4 more lumps in the right breast!! And you know what? She had my back every step of the way there, too (those ended up being benign). Marlene was like a warm friend who didn't make me feel so alone. She was like an advocate for my wellness along the testing and imaging phases of this cancer process. She gave me the strength & the courage to come to terms with my diagnosis and to square up to it and get on top of getting rid of it!! She and the Renaissance team literally brought to light that which another imaging center failed to reveal to me, much less show me they even cared. Renaissance more than cared. They cheered me on to give me courage. Marlene and everyone at Renaissance were like family who had my back and gave me my strength. If were up to me, I would see to it that Marlene is given some executive position at the company. I really cannot even begin to express my sheer gratitude and relief that I ended up being a patient at Renaissance Imaging and having Marlene as my guide and compass the whole way through all those tests: breast ultrasounds, breast MRI, and the biopsies. God bless Marlene and God bless Renaissance and all their expert employees. Don't trust your breast health to any other imaging group but Renaissance Imaging! Your life may literally depend upon it. I was referred here by my urgent care provider, I called on Monday and made the appointment for 2 pm on Friday (the soonest the can accommodate), gave all the necessary information. Plus stating what I needed done an ultrasound on my Achilles tendon. And once I showed up they made me fill out paperwork and wasted 45 mins of my time to tell me they can't see me due to them not being able to perform the ultrasound in this location. This office is completely disorganized, coming from someone that work in the medical field they should do more than "sarcastic sorry" . I think the worst part is they don't own up to their mistakes, just just know how to waste people's time. Not to mention another of their patients came in while I sat there and very nonchalantly told them they came in to the wrong location even though the lady kept saying i have your number and made sure it was this address. Come on 2 in less than 45 mins what are they doing over booking the schedule and picking and choosing who will get seen. Very unprofessional, very disappointing. read more

I had an 8.5 weeks 2D scan done on 02-09-2016 around 4:30pm. I wish I could remember the tech's name. She took the best image of our baby. It's clear, crisp, and the angle makes it obvious it's a little baby! I've never seen little arms and legs like that so early in a pregnancy. This doesn't make it any less cute, but images I'm used to seeing of young fetuses, even older than ours, look like blurry, yet adorable, beans. In mine, I can see the baby's head, body, arms, and legs clearly. Either the baby was hamming it up, or she is great at what she does. Thank you for a beautiful memory and photo. read more
