I've been coming here for so long I'm really shocked at my most recent experience ... I usually come here to get my pedicures but as of lately I've been getting acrylics , Basic French short to medium nothing spectacular ...Dan was doing my nails before he left & had no issues with me wanting a different style tip... but this last visit has me questioning whether I'm going to return it's sad I've literally brought over 5-6 family members to this business because of the work they do and the vibe ...but my last visit made me so disappointed I'm not sure I'll get my nails done here if I do return at all ...yune was so rude to me because she didn't like that I brought my own nail tips not only was she rough with me she applied one of my tips crooked & refused to adjust it she just cut it which made my thumb nails shorter then the rest of my nails and sliced me a few times with the file during the application process of my new set ... but then it gets worse she tells me she doesn't like my tips & if I didn't want to use their tips she wouldn't do my nails anymore ... this was so crazy to me because I chose her because she's really good at what she does & my tips weren't anything crazy still square just thicker then what they normally use I need my nails to be a little more durable without looking super thick that's why I brought my own tips & for some reason my choice I guess set her off ... her whole energy changed towards me for the rest of my appointment... she was talking crap about dans work (the guy that previously did my nails) which was not professional & saying things like because I wanted to use my own tips she wanted to move away too like Dan smh ... Awful place wouldn't recommend if you get builder gel I would think that for the fact that I just got my nails done on Sunday it wouldn't break by Wednesday but it DID!! Nice enough environment. Went in for a manicure with a natural nail cut down and a shiny buff. After the quick and half hearted massage I asked for the green drops on one of my thumbs as she cut my cuticle and it was bleeding. She did not put the drops on to stop the bleeding and disinfect the cut she instead insisted she didn't cut me. When I got out to my car I noticed that over half my nails were left sharp and ragged on the ends so I had to file them myself. I don't imagine we will be back. read more

I've only been here once before for a pedicure and had a pretty good experience the first time, so I figured it would be good to come back with my mom for another pedicure and for her belated Mother's Day gift. However this second time around I did not have a good experience. Firstly the lady who did my pedicure was very rough. She pinched my skin multiple times while she was trimming my cuticles. My nails aren't cut straight or even filed to a nice shape at all, they look pretty rough. Some nails have sparse areas where there is no gel polish at all. She also cut the skin on the side of one of my toes and it immediately looked red and irritated. Also I had placed my bag on one of the folding stools next to the spa chair, and it was moved to the floor, leaving a huge stain on my bag that I have no idea how to remove. I've given this place multiple chances but they are abysmal. I've gotten cut the last 3 times I've been here by Tracy, but this time was the worst and has led me to writing a review. The lady doing my pedicure (Ky) cut a HUGE chunk of my skin from the side of my toe and blood gushed out. She put some green liquid on it and proceeded to cut at it even more. After dunking my feet in the water to get the blood off, she sprayed all my open wounds with alcohol twice. While painting the nail she dug her nail into the wound MULTIPLE times to scrap gel polish out of it. My toe is now infected and the pain is shooting up my leg. All of the other toes are irritated and red. Also noticed that they do not switch out the towels on the foot rests between clients. Save yourself the $200 it costs for a mani/pedi and go somewhere else. read more

I have been going to this nail salon for 3 years. When I first started going there I started with this one nail tech that did a great job but I ended up switching to another nail tech. Her name was YUNE!! The very first time she did my nails she was immediately RUDE by her comments and the way she forcefully moved my hand with agitation as if she hated her job. For some reason I continued to go with her because I liked how she did my nails so I dealt with her attitude and her passive aggressive personality. Maybe because of the tips she started becoming a little bit more nice but she had her days. She was very blunt when she expressed how she felt about certain things. There was one time where she literally told me to stop talking. She literally said "Will you just stop talking!!" with a RUDE TONE and that it was annoying and that she can't stand when her customers talk to her. It made me very uncomfortable. There was one time where I accidentally broke one nail and when I went in there to see if she can fix it she kept jerking my hand around was very passive aggressive wouldn't even talk to me and I could tell her face she was annoyed. There was times where I actually felt pain when she would move my hand forcefully out of agitation. Why I kept going back I guess because I tried going to other places and they wouldn't do nails like how she did them I just liked how she did them I don't know why I had to sit there and tolerate her rudeness. Another time she even admitted by saying "Yeah I know I'm rude and I mean and customers don't like me!" Then she would laugh out loud thinking it was a joke. She probably kept the job because her husband is a manager at this place. Even times when I went she would talk negative about her husband saying that she thinks he's ugly and she can't stand him. Very unprofessional and disrespectful as well. The last time I came and was today to get my nails fixed which really upset her. I was even afraid to come in I called a couple days ahead of time letting them know my concerns. I spent $118 on getting a full set plus gel and also gel on my toes. Plus I give her $15 tip. I spent a lot of money for them to constantly give it me attitude throughout the entire visit. I went in today because I wasn't happy with the color only having one coat. You can see right through the nail and all the streaks but every time I would say anything to her she would get defensive and call me hard to deal with and that was picky on my nails. If I'm going to pay for them I should like the way they look. If I'm going to spend over $100 I have a right to want her to fix them if she didn't do them right. She usually does them fine but she was getting lazy on the Polish probably because the company is trying to save money. She would just do one coat of the color and then put glitter and then clear over it and a lot of times you would see the streaks but this last time it was really light and you can see right through the nail in certain lighting it was really bad you can see dark and light because the fact that she didn't do two coats and it looked really bad. So when I went in she gave me attitude what is it now broken nail something wrong with her nails she said then when I told her how it was a little see-through and it was possible to do two color coats she said I'm not wanting to work with you anymore don't ask for me I'm done I'm done I don't want anything to do with doing your nails anymore she was really rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. Here is her name and I'm going to give it out loud and clear ladies do not go to this woman she's a narcissist and she doesn't like her customers she told me multiple times that she can't stand people. She's even said that she hates when people talk to her and that she's never happy working and wanting to be there. Don't go to her she will make you feel bad about any mistake that you think she did and she will gaslight you as you're the problem. They cost a lot at this place and you should be able to get what you want for what you pay for it should be respectful customer service she was rude all the time and I don't know why I dealt with her for many years. Came in for a pedicure and Kai (Kye) rushed the whole thing. I was in and out in like 35 minutes. She removed my previous gel and I asked for regular polish and she started applying gel and after 1 foot I told her that it's supposed to be regular polish and she clearly looked upset. They make you fill out a paper so I figured she saw that it was regular polish. She told me that what I had before was gel and I told her I knew that (I do gel when I'm on vacation) and proceeded to drill off the clear base she put on which was painful. When she painted my toes she didn't clean up the borders AT ALL so they look extremely uneven. She rushed even more the moment I told her that it was regular polish. I was a little upset at the receptionist because I clearly asked who did a good square shape and she said everyone and mine CLEARLY did not give me a good square shape after I told her. The only thing good about this place was the music. When I told her to fix it she then proceeded to leave the new lady she was helping and with the same gloves she was touching her she came and touched my toes. The first two times I went here, I had the same lady, and she did really good work. Ever since then, I've had 3 different technicians, and two of them were awful. Yesterday I got a gel polish manicure for a trip to New York, but I'm definitely going to have to fork out more cash to have them redone. I asked for silver foil, but she didn't seem to know what that was, so she did glitter. And then today, one day later, I see a small chip and I notice there are bumps and the pain is uneven on the surface, like it dips down. It also looks like I painted them myself, and despite paying extra for a manicure, my cuticles look like sh**. So, that's the last time I'm going there. I'm sure they do well at other services, but for the simple things, go somewhere else. So sad to say that I won't be returning to my favorite nail salon. I've come here seven or eight times, and the last time I went I got done so dirty that I cried when I paid. My nails normally come out looking near perfect and beautiful, but the last time I was given some of the worst nails I have ever had. After my soak off took over an hour, the person who was helping me had their next client. So I got passed on to someone with what seemed no experience doing long nails. I normally pay $107 for a regular pedicure and fill. This time I got a new full set, a soak off, and a pedicure with callus removal; that cost $140. In the photos, you could see the comparison between the shit job that was done when I got my new set versus the high-quality they performed when I've gotten fills. Nobody checked in on me as they normally do. I feel like nobody checked in because they knew I was very displeased, and the knew that. The person who was doing my nails, decided to use tap gel instead of acrylic, which is what I expected to be used on my nails. When I questioned it because it wasn't what I wanted, I was told that tap gel is so much stronger than acrylic and my nail won't snap off. Apparently my nails won't break, but they'll just be fucking ugly. I had to return the next day to get what I actually wanted. The next day I returned to the salon, they told me that I would have to pay for the design, after I already had been there 2 1/2 hours the previous day. I had to come for another 2 1/2 hours to get squeezed in and pay an extra $25 on top of the $140 I already paid. I would definitely return if they didn't make me pay an extra fee, it should've been comped as a courtesy to giving me horrible nails. I am so sad that I can't return to this nail salon because they decided to give me lack of quality after I've been a loyal customer. read more

Clean, great service, plenty of parking, you get a full size drink. I made an appointment and arrived no waiting. I had requested Christine because my sister likes her, but she wasn't available so I was given a technician named Michelle. I get very anxious trying new places but I took a chance. Michelle took her time, great pressure on massage, made sure she wasn't rushing and to me that's golden.She was meticulous on shape and it was just such a great experience. Pricing is great as well. The worst nail shop I have ever been to as far as quality and customer service. I went to this nail shop after my nail lady from another shop stopped doing nails and went to Yuen because her work looked good from what I saw. Well as soon as I got into her chair she had a bad attitude and as she continued to do my nails I had to tell her numerous times to fix certain things, that two of my nails were crooked, she had a Kerlick all underneath my nails and attached to my skin, amongst other things. She then became annoyed with me telling her and rolled her eyes at me. I'm not sure of anyone who would be okay paying the money that they charge and having nails crooked, the paint job looks like my eight year old painted it. Less than 24 hours after getting my nails done one of my nails breaks off due to them being so paperthin. When I called the nail shop and spoke to the gentleman in the front he was unable and unwilling to help me and told me I would have to pay to fix or remove my nails. He continue to say that they have been doing nails for years and nobody's nail just break off. I told him that they didn't just break off but as soon as I scratched my back my nail came off and broke. At the end of our conversation I told him this was my first and last time coming to this nail shop and they have very bad customer service and do bad business and I would be posting a yelp review in which he replied that he didn't care if I wrote a yelp review or not they would still get business. If you're looking for a new nail shop do not go to this nail shop yes YUN may do decent nails from pictures but I think she's a hit or miss and more times than not does not do a quality job and also their customer service is very bad. I paid $117 for acyrlic nails and a basic pedicure that is also terrible. After speaking to a friend that also used to go to the nail shop and used to have YUN do her nails she told me she had a similar experience. read more

One of the worst experiences I have had in my life. Terrible, distracted, rough, up selling and extremely curt woman did my nails. She handed me the brochure to see if I wanted anything else, I politely declined and the abuse began. She started being super rough with pushing back my cuticles, she would not trim my nails, she barely filed the nails down, she kept looking away at the other staff. Just extremely rude and my pedicure was terrible. Blotchy and uneven coats, I have never seen the edges of my nails not painted but this lady clearly did not want to paint the entire nail. Don't walk away from this place RUN They were busy, but instead of taking their time with the people they had they rush them out the door to accommodate walk ins. Got my nails done at 530 pm today. Manicure with gel polish. No massage. No exfoliation. No frills. $60 with tip ($50 without). The French tip was super thick when I wanted a more classic thing line but after three attempts to ask for thinner i decided to go with it. I got home from the mall and my nails are chipped :(. I'm seriously so upset. My regular place has my gel lasting two weeks without a single chip. I have an event this weekend and silly me thought I'd be sporting nice nails. Just be wary.
