I DO NOT recommend this place. I went in with thick eyebrows. I asked for only a clean up and the lady did not listen. She waxed my eyebrows really thin. She made me look like the ugly step sister from Shrek!! I'm really mad and upset about my eyebrows. DO NOT WAXS YOUR EYEBROWS HERE!! I wish I could give them zero stars. I don't recommend going here. At first glance the women looked approachable and presentable. The work stations were very dirty. It appeared they hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. My nails were decent for the price with lots of imperfections. I was not asked to wash my hands after the acrylic fill and filing which resulted in lint and dust under the top coat. read more

Tammy is the best. Ive been going exclusively to her for about 5 years now. She takes pride in her work and pays attention to the details. My nails do not break with her. I haven't found anybody else even close. She stays "in the lines" when painting. Check out my piggies in the pic (I like them very short) I never have paint on my skin. Always does a great job on my nails! FYI if you want trendy blingy nails this is NOT the shop for you. Here are some updates: 1: they remodeled a bit if u haven't been there in a while, new chairs and floors! 2: not a lot of Vietnamese soap operas on like before...i have known these ladies for more than 15 years so I kindly mentioned to them it is not cool to do that 24/7 for the customers ( I guess it might have helped!) 3: NEVER let Chris touch your toes!! OUCH!!! This isn't the place you go if you want anything luxurious. The chairs are ripped and creaky, pedicures are done it paper-lined basins, the TV is always playing Vietnamese channels, and 90% of the time the women are having personal conversations in their language. My mom and I have been coming for years, and it seems like each time she ends up getting cut by Khrist when she does her pedicure. That's seriously not cool. The service is really sub par. I was okay with it because they had the cheapest prices around, but they recently raised their prices. I might come back if I desperately need my nails done for another special occasion, but that's about it. It's not a very pleasurable experience, but Cookie gets stars because I came in asking for something rather unique for a special occasion and she really put the effort in to make my nails look great. read more

The pricing for this place is great. But you really do get what you pay for. It's only $20 for a full set of acrylic nails which was what brought me to this place but I don't think I can justify going back. The place is really small, chairs aren't comfy, and the workers are extremely unfriendly. The lady who did my nails barely said two words to me. There was a wall of nail polish right by the door but when she instructed me to pick out my polish she told me to go to a small shelf in the back which only contained like 15 colors... so not the best selection. This place was always my favorite , but one of the ladies names Chris is a bit to old and not careful, I mentioned it to the owner a few times but they don't care . When I did get my nails done she always cut me and kinda half assed the process, my gels would peel off faster than normal, last time I went she did a callous treatment on my pedicure while staring at the tv .... she went to far and I ended up in the emergency room with a horrible infection in both feet! Favorite place! My pedicure lady is the only one I'll ever let touch my feet now, every time I've gone to someone else I end up with ingrown nails and she fixes it, every time! I also usually only get a gel mani but I decided to do acrylic this time and I'm honestly so impressed! I showed her a reference photo and she did exactly what I asked for!! Horrible my manicure lasted a day literally and I have used the same type of gel nail polish for every nail place I've gone too and they lasted just fine . The lady owner tried to make me pay extra after I brought my own polish in to not pay extra. My pedicure lasted a while but got messed up when the lady sat me down. Love coming to get my nails done by Tammy. I've been going to her over 15 years. The shop is a little outdated. They still do pedicures in the little plastic tubs. I get my toes down by Kris. She does a good job. One thing I do not like is that she does not put my shoes back on. I don't know why. But she does give you a great pedicure. She massages for a long time. I really enjoy it. They are appointment based only. That is a good thing AND a bad thing. Once you arrive Tammy is ready for you. I do like that they honor your appt time unlike other salons where you still have to wait. Bad part of that, is that if "life happens" and you can't make it to your appt it's a hassle trying to find one that now will fit your schedule. You have to make an appt when you leave, if not GOOD LUCK. I'm telling you from experience. But overall, Tammy is the best. If you can't get Tammy I would recommend Tina. She is also good. I came into Alisen Nails for the first time on Friday Aug. 14th. 1st of all it was so hot inside that I had sweat marks on the leather seat (disgusting)! A lady came over and asked "u want manicure /pedicure"? I said "just a pedicure please". She said "ok whatever, come with me" I sat down at her station and she puts all of the pedicure stuff away and gets everything out for a manicure. I politely said "oh I'm sorry, I was wanting a pedicure", she gives me a look and starts speaking out loud in Chinese and goes and gets a foot soak bowl and starts slamming everything around and I look around and everyone had stopped what they were doing and starred. She brings the foot soak and says "put your feet in there", I said "I'm sorry, I've changed my mind, I don't want to do any of this", now she's really pissed, and says "why don't you want it done"? I said " because I feel uncomfortable", she said "okay, whatever"! She went and got another client who works next door and was very pleasant with them. Never will I recommend this place! read more

I've been coming here for over 10 years and I haven't found anywhere nearly as good! Their prices are the lowest you can find and my nails last for at least 3 weeks if not longer and that's without the gel. I just get regular acrylic. I think at first when people see the place compared to other nail salons it's not so up to date looking and kind of small. I suggest making an appointment they always have openings the day of. Everyone does a great job but particularly with my nails I like Tina or Tammy. read more
