I was not looking for a large company since I've heard horror stories on a few of those companies that are only focused on growth. I was looking for a small to mid sized company that had an owner that was actively involved, and had a small crew and knew what they were doing. I am VERY HAPPY I found Tonka Roofing since they exceeded every expectation I had and did a great job! Tonka Roofing was easy to work with, answered my questions, dealt with my insurance company, and was able to start on time and finish on time and did great job cleaning up after. I am very happy with the work they did and would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them.

We had a leak and they moved their schedule around to accommodate our project. It was amazing how efficient and professional the crew was. Eric was onsite the majority of the day and the final checklist and sign off of everything was very assuring. The new gutters were installed within a week of the roof being completed. What was very impressive to me was that the sales rep for Zups took the time to stop by after and ask if we had any questions or see if there was anything they could have done better. Zups was more personable than the other bids we got also. They laid out in full detail what happens when they redo the roof and have a contract that laid out all the pricing for what they would do. The final walk through was great also. I got a warranty sheet and final check list from Eric and he walked thru the entire project and explained what happened and what they did to my roof. I had a real piece of mind. One last thing, there were a few issues with my previous roof and I was having leaks and had some rotted trim boards. Also told them of the wall outlet that doesn't work and the person I talked to said he would look at it while he was here. Well, another worker showed up, didn't know anything about the outlet and it took 4 hours to replace the tile. I didn't check the tile until after the worker left as they had been often I figured they could at least get the color right. I cannot express enough how difficult it has been to work with thia company and would not recommend them to anyone.

We called Lifetime Builders for a free consultation and quote, and to see if perhaps some of the summer storms had caused the damage. Sergey came to our house to check out the damage both exterior and interior, and we set an appointment for Mike and Sergey to return to meet with the insurance adjuster so they could help us work with our insurance company to ensure that the entire roof was covered. The adjuster found evidence of severe weather damage to the roof, and Lifetime Builders placed me on the schedule for installation for the very next week. The crew arrived early on the day they were scheduled. The men were very friendly, and they worked hard all day. The first day, they did most of the removal of the old roof and installed weatherproofing for the new one. They did a phenomenal job on clean-up after the demo day, and they came back first thing the next morning and installed the new roof all within the second day. The workers left my yard looking just as good or better than before once finished with final cleanup. We had a new roof within 2 weeks of calling Lifetime Builders, and Lifetime Builders helped us work with our insurance company to ensure that every expense except our deductible was covered and paid for. They even helped with organizing the repair of the drywall ceiling inside. We could not be happier with our new roof and new ceiling in the bathroom. Before contacting Tradition, I received an estimate from one of "those" kind of roofing companies - You know the type, the ones that come by and leave a business card if your door and when you ask them to check out your roof they, of course, say you need and entirely new roof. When Scott Landa (who, in the interest of full disclosure, is the husband of a former coworker) came out to take a look at my roof he had an entirely different, and thankfully less expensive, opinion. After a quick repair, Scott was able to fix the area of my roof that I was concerned about. As he was leaving, I asked if I needed a new roof. Scott's answer was no. I not only appreciated Scott's professionalism, but also his honesty. I'm sure he would have loved to put an entirely new roof on my home, but it wasn't needed and he was able to accurately assess the situation and didn't rip me off. When the time comes that I do need a new roof, I'll be giving Tradition Roofing and Exteriors a call.
