Dr. Nazario is one of the best family practice doctors. She is kind, thoughtful, and been there for me during loads of changes in my life, always with great advice. Stormy at the front desk was super nice and welcoming, too. Overall, this was an efficient visit. I don't think I waited longer than 10 mins in the lobby before I was called back for vitals. There was some time between that and actually talking to the physician, but not that long. I felt the staff were professional and cared. I was in and out of there in under an hour. After my visit was done, Stormy let me know there are other locations where I'm from in TX, so that was definitely good to know for future use. I know some reviews have mentioned shady business as far as charges go, but I can't speak to that. I was happy to see my copay was only $25. I'd say overall, it was good quality care for the experience.

At my visit to Carbon Care, however, the PA diagnosed me with a partial calf muscle strain and confidently ruled out an Achilles injury without performing the Thompson test, which I found out is the standard clinical test for this exact injury. I was told to follow up in two weeks with no imaging ordered. I want to be fair, the staff was kind and the PA wasn't dismissive. However, if you're not an expert in something, it's also okay, and I believe your medical responsibility, to say you're not the expert and refer me to one. The missed diagnosis meant I left without the correct treatment plan for a serious injury, and I only got clarity by seeking a second opinion the next day. If you come in with a suspected Achilles injury, especially after a pop during push-off, I'd encourage you to ask specifically whether the Thompson test has been performed and push for immediate imaging to confirm. Don't let two weeks pass before finding out. Fortunately I had some strong advocates in my corner to push for a second opinion.

The staff in this office is kind, compassionate and attentive to your needs. Shaunna and Brenda are responsive, quick to reply to your needs and without a doubt, excellent resources to answer questions / concerns / respond to your needs. It is such a comfort to know that one can rely on them to respond appropriately and timely. Being a long-term patient of Dr. Killen has proven to be an excellent choice, without a doubt. He is a kind man who listens to his patients, hears their needs and responds appropriately. I trust no one else with my healthcare needs more than him. Appointments with Dr. Killen prove to be a relaxed experience where one can absolutely address any health need and/or address new concerns without filter. That seems absurd, but fine. 1 month later and they still never show. Contact them again and have to pay an additional $25 for copying fees, which was neglected to be provided. Not only all of this, but getting a hold of someone has been an extreme challenge and they forget to mention things on the phone like release of information paperwork, etc. It's been over 2 months since I've tried to get my medical records transfered and still no luck.

The people on the phone are always helpful and kind. I never wait even five minutes in their spacious and clean waiting room. The nurses or medical assistants who take me back and triage me are always kind, as well. Once in the examination room, my wait is seldom more than ten minutes. Dr. Weaver is always so kind and welcoming. She sits and listens. She does not seem distracted, she is not busy looking at the computer or writing notes. She is compassionate and she does not judge! The reference desk is always helpful, they call to pre-cert any services Dr. Weaver sends me out of office for; and they call me to tell me what my out-of-pocket will be. There is a phlebotomist on site and there's never more than a five minute wait for blood draws. I cannot recommend her and the office more.

They've implemented a new AI, it does not work and in the past 2 hours I've gotten nowhere and wasn't able to speak to anyone, and now I am not sure if I will be able to get my necessary meds. The front desk staff was extremely disorganized and neglected their duties, severely impacting my health (again issues with getting meds and reffreals out to me/my pharmacy/other Doctor's offices), but this is far worse. I have choosen to take my care elsewhere, I feel very failed. They can not even put a real person on the phone. If you can get in the care is good, but it's impossible to access.
