We met our friend here and it's a really cool tiki bar. The grounds when you enter is an RV park with campers and bungalows. The bar is actually in the back with a general store and the tiki as across from it. The place is big with karaoke and lots of peeps were giving it all. You can order food from the bar or go to a separate restaurant behind it. The bar is on the water so the boat launch is used often . I had to e cheeseburger which came with fries and for 12 bucks was a huge burger . Wife had a turkey wrap and she couldn't finish it but said it was good. The prices for. Beverages were inexpensive and the people on the table where we sat were very friendly . Aside from the high humidity, it was a great time and would go there again when I visit again.

We visited Renegades on the River on Saturday for lunch on a weekly motorcycle ride. As always we had a great time. The weather was nice so we ate in the bar area. The menu is limited compared to the main restaurant but we all were able to pick a good meal. I had iced water and buffalo wings and the meal was good my six friends also enjoyed their meal. The service was great. Will return.

This off the beaten path hideaway is totally beautiful. There is even a small lake with a gator right outside the restaurant. There are tiki hut roofs, an interesting tv and cabin area. There is a large dock where you can fish and rent boats. Our server was very helpful. Try the thick fries - they are great. My flounder sandwich was fresh and flavorful. My husband's hamburger wasn't that exciting. The draft Yuengling was refreshing. It was a great meeting spot between Orando and Jax.

The ambiance is about half of what this place is all about. It's very Trader Sam's, including a lot of neat Disney memorabilia on the shelves on the walls behind the bar. Dark and stormy tiki bar vibes. The service was super friendly, and the food and bev came out very timely. The drinks were great, and they had a really nice mocktail menu. You can come and enjoy a nice drink without getting alcohol. We also ordered a burger from their limited food menu. It was very good. Not in competition for best burger in Orlando or anything, but the flavors were on point, and bun was nice and soft, and the furikake dusted crinkle cut fries were the perfect side item. Overall, this place was very cool, and if you haven't come here yet, you need to.

The guy was present, but not overly present. The drinks and the food were very timely. The burger we had was very nice, and I love a good crinkle cut fry. Cons: I tried a drink that wasn't supposed to be too sweet, but it was just too sweet for me. And a significant portion of the menu seems to be sweet drinks. Very tiki bar. Tips: Certainly a preference thing. I'm not gonna knock them, but if you're not a sweet drink kind of person, good luck here.

It was super busy when we went our first time and it was not during happy hour on several occasions we have visited. We live close and visited here a bunch the first 2 years we moved to Ocala and have visited less and less since then. There have been several occasions we have stood at the bar waiting not only to be greeted but also waited very long times to receive our drinks. In their defense, many times the bartenders were busy attending to patrons or making drinks. However, there were several times some bartenders were just talking to friends or messing around. The drinks here are super detailed so they take some time and TLC. I will say, most times our drinks taste delicious and the presentations are magnificent! The decor is so cozy and the ambiance is consistent. Hubs and I absolutely love Tiki themed bars and fell in love with Hawaii after our visit years ago so this place is perfect for us. We also like this place because they are open later than most places in town. We recently visited for a nightcap and it was definitely different. I recently had referred someone here because she was looking for Hawaii themed food (they used to serve food) and she informed me they did not serve food. That sucks because we always meant to try it but never did. Looked good. When we recently visited, they did not have physical menus and were referred to QR code cards on the bar. Our bartender was attentive and helpful with choosing a drink during our recent visit. He actually went out of his way to make the orange peel twist in a perfect manner. I appreciated that! I was going to suggest to hubs we have another drink and then a roach crawled across the bar. I discreetly informed the bartender of the dead roach I killed when we closed out and he took it away. Usually this place is clean and tidy so I was surprised to witness the roach. They do have seating outside as well but we usually sit inside to listen to the themed music.

We quickly got through signing the waiver, and then WE WERE READY TO PARTY. The boat is BYOB. We brought some drinks and a charcuterie plate on board. Our route took us out of the marina, around the waterway, right by the fort, and the downtown nightlife. Once the sun went down, the tiki boat had colored lights that turned on. Our group really had a blast, and this was a highlight of our weekend, for sure. I want to give major kudos to our Captain, Jack. He was so great navigating the waters that were a little choppy in a few areas while making us feel safe. He also was such a good sport with our shenanigans and laughed along with us. Everyone just seems so happy here so you can tell that it really enjoy their jobs which makes a huge difference. We started off with the coconut shrimp and had like this coconut mayo dipping sauce was different, but it was really good, but I felt like it needed like a sweet-and-sour sauce then I had the mahi tacos with just the rice no black beans definitely still as good as the last time I tried it my boyfriend got the buffalo chicken pizza gluten-free and he ate the entire thing so that just tells you right off the bat that it was good and to finish off our dinners we ended with Keylime pie. I want to preface this by saying we went on a very cold day and ate indoors..the pizza was outstanding and the waiter was friendly and engaging..in other words, typical for our experiences there. Prior to this, we even brought friends who hadn't been there before and loved it...now, to our recent experience: We were seated and the waitress seemed as though she wasn't very familiar with the menu and had to check on our requests, each check took a disturbingly long time. When we brought our friends, my gal ordered a hamburger and I asked the waitress if she could have the wagyu, rather than the angus burger, she readily said yes and my gal marveled over the burger...fast forward to the last experience, the waitress said she'd have to order the wagyu as posted and it "wasn't available" as a stand alone order. So my gal settled for the angus burger and again, the wait was a bit long and as we were considering to leave, the waitress showed up, gave us our food and left. the onion rings were cold...literally...they had been out so long that they weren't even warm (our prior experiences the onion rings arrived hot and delicious). Again we waited for our waitress to return and my gal had to ask another waitress if she could get us some hot onion rings. That waitress noted the cold onion rings and brought them back to the kitchen to prove we weren't being unreasonable, which was a greatly appreciated gesture on her part. Very promptly, the "other" waitress brought our onion rings, apologizing profusely...we thanked her and when my gal started into her Caesar salad, it was inedible....soggy, nearly tasteless and resembling a hot spinach salad with soggy lettuce than a crisp Caesar salad....the upside, the second batch of onion rings were up to their usual excellent standard, the burger was good, but not the intensity of flavor their wagyu burger had. If we hadn't been semi-regulars, it is a near certainty we wouldn't go back, but we aren't going to let a single experience unravel years of good experiences.
