The session unexpectedly extended to over two hours, with the first hour spent on Jackie questioning my personal life and motivations for the therapy. Instead of focusing on the session I paid for, she quizzed me on the meaning of Cranial Sacral Therapy and pried into my career goals and aspirations. When I mentioned my plans to start a non-profit for teen moms, Jackie questioned my qualifications, implying that I couldn't help mothers without being one myself. Her comments were inappropriate, insensitive, and left me feeling uncomfortable and judged. The actual therapy portion of the session felt more like a reiki massage, and I was disappointed to realize that the diagnosis of my root chakra being unbalanced was based on her intrusive questioning rather than any real treatment. Despite the massage itself being decent, the unprofessional conduct overshadowed any benefits I might have received. After the session, Jackie recommended a book but couldn't remember the title and asked for my number to send it later, which she never did. This lack of follow-through only added to the overall dissatisfaction with the experience. In hindsight, I now see why she wanted my number, to harass me later if I left a review. The massage happened two months ago, There's no reason to still have my number, Jackie. When I posted a review on Google to express my concerns, Patrice, the owner, responded not with understanding but with a defensive and accusatory message. Instead of addressing my legitimate concerns, she attacked me personally, accusing me of being disrespectful and even suggesting that I needed psychiatric therapy for my military-related issues (which Jackie had shared with her). Patrice's response was not only unprofessional but also crossed the line into harassment, making baseless accusations about my character and mental health. This kind of behavior from a business owner is deeply troubling and raises serious questions about the ethics and professionalism of this establishment. Following Patrice's response to my review, she further escalated the situation by sending a harassing text message, where she continued to attack me personally, calling me names, and accusing me of having a narcissistic personality disorder. She even offered customers a 15% discount if they mentioned my review, seemingly encouraging others to join in on her smear campaign against me. Initially she had three google reviews, but within an hour (I'm guessing after emailing her friends/family) she now has 10 5-star reviews. The way I was treated by both Jackie and Patrice has caused me significant emotional distress.The lack of professionalism and the harassment I received from both Jackie and Patrice are unacceptable for any business, and I hope this review helps others make an informed decision. I hope no one else has to go through what I did. Patrice, if this behavior continues I will take legal action. I want to thank Yelp for allowing me to exercise my first amendment and document my experience. ... Please Patrice, it's been a week, and this situation has gone further than it should. I'm really sorry but you are not intimidating. I will be the adult here and publicly apologize for reviewing my experience. I can tell you're having sleepless nights about all of this.
