When the doctor did see me she was very rushed and scattered. She used liquid nitrogen to remove spots on my hand and wanted to use it on my face as well. I told her I was concerned about the mark it would leave being worse than the spot I had and I would rather not. She told me to come back if I was happy with the results on my hand. Thank God I didn't do it. My hand looks terrible and the only difference between the spots I had and the spots now is it now looks like I have scars. I will not be returning.

Most importantly, he respects all his patients and is very responsive - his answering service after hours does an excellent job of getting ahold of him in the event that you need to contact him. As many of you know, this is HUGE and nothing is worse than not being able to reach your doctor when you need him the most. Scheduling an appointment with his staff is always a pleasant experience - something you don't really get with larger group practices. I would highly recomment Doc. Hanna and the Lakeshore Ob/Gyn staff.

It was around 2:30 p.m. and an average amount of patients. were waiting to see their doctors. It seemed they flowed in and out easily and my wait wasn't long. The tech named Jennifer who did my eye exams was personable and really nice. She was easy to talk to and fun to be with. I had to wait in the waiting room while my eyes dilated for about 20 minutes, but it was well worth the wait to keep healthy eyes. Dr. Joseph Harman was very well groomed and professional. I was relieved to know I didn't have a serious problem and hope to return next year for a recheck. Thank you Dr. Harman and your wonderful staff.. My only suggestion is bring someone to drive you home if your eyes are dilated. I didn't need sunglasses as it was raining today, but if it's sunny out take them.

I booked an Ayurvedic consultation and took two classes in the following week. The Ayurvedic consultation was so informative and insightful. I could tell how well educated and passionate Tara is. She had never met me before and was eerily correct on so many points. I wish I had time for a couple more sessions. The two classes were great also. There is an instant connection, sense of community, and complete lack of judgement. Tara is an intuitive teacher and guide who senses what you need and are able to do or not able to do. I walked in off the street just to ask a few questions and get a feel for the place before going under the scissors with anyone there. There were 2 stylists working and a couple kids sitting and eating cheese crackers in the lounge. The whole place was very dark, like a dark closet. It made me wonder how they could see to work. There were 2 stools at a tall bar style checkout counter right next to a small waiting lounge. I sat at one of the stools, patiently waiting for a stylist to be free to help me. Neither stylist greeted me as I proceeded in to sit at the stool. I sat for about 15 minutes browsing the web on my phone. I put my phone in my pocket and looked up. One of the stylists finished up with her client and checked out her client from behind the counter and the client stood right next to me. She had a lengthy conversation with this client, which I have no problem with. It sounded like she had not seen her in a couple years. The client left and I was the only lingering person in the waiting area, check out bar/lounge area - besides what I found out to be her kids in the lounge. She never once looked at me, said anything to me, acknowledged me. She had to see me, I was right in front of her in one of the 2 stools there. She was behind the counter. She proceeded to talk with her kids though, as she took the crackers and closed them. Then the stylist walked away, never to look back.... and then so did I. Out the door. For good. What a shame for a small local business to be snooty like this. I felt so invisible.
