The new windows are nice. The installation scheduling process gave no regard to the needs of our family. The scheduler said they would arrive between 8:00 and 9:30. Our contract said it would take 3-4 days .The installers woke us at 6:30 and arrived at 7:00 on the first day. They FINISHED 10 hours later. As a result a window was installed with the wrong color trim and all the HunterDouglas shade clips were put up backwards! Renewal by Anderson needs to hire a communications person at the office so everyone is on the same page! read more

As a former inside sales rep responsible for securing appointments for outside sales representatives who come to the home I can say this company will stop at nothing to get inside your home including decieving you into thinking they will give you a price and lock it in for a full year. The only way you will get your price locked in is to make a purchase. If they get your name they will hound you relentlessly until you demand to be placed on the National Do Not Call list and even then there's no guarantee that they will. Ask for a callback in the spring and they will continue to badger you insisting that all they want to do is give you information. Let them in the door and you will think they are going to set in on you like rigor mortus. The Andersen window is a superior product but at over $1,000.00 a window you better be wealthy to afford one. In some of their markets they won't even send a sales representaive into a predominantly minority commuity. read more

We had three windows in our living room replaced by Renewal by Andersen a few years ago. We had a similar experience to those published here and its interesting that their pitch has not changed much. The salesman came over, described the product and options and gave us a "special" price that was good "today only" When we gave him a coupon for $ 500 off, he first insisted his price included the discount which they give to everyone. He took the money and the order and left. Several weeks later, we received a caqll from Andersen that they no longer made the window we had (it was a five pane window) and they said they could replace it with a three-pane for "no additional cost". The installers arrived and as others stated, they were independent contractors paid by the job despite the salesman's insistence they were Andersen employees. The installers were actually the only positive part. The window that was shipped was 3/4" too small for the opening. After several phone calls and insisting they could put extra insulation in, we refused to accept the product. Andersen called to offer a few hundred dollars off the price. Again I refused. The new window arrived and this was too large. The installers wanted to cut away some clapboard to make it fit. We finally figured out a way to install the window without damaging the clapboard. The final straw was on the contract side. The offer was interest-free for a period of time through GE Financing. Someone in the office "incorrectly entered" information and I started receiving bills with something like a 29% interest from the date of purchase. Many calls and letters went unanswered and GE would not talk to me directly - only to Renewal. I finally had to go to their "showroom" in Woburn which turned out to be a few cubicles with phones and sat there first until the manager would even speak with me and then until his staff corrected the error and reversed the finance charges. The windows you get from Renewal are of a lower quality than you get from the Andersen factory. If you want Andersen (and they are good windows) go to a lumberyard that sells them and work directly with them. If you get a call from Renewal blast an air horn in the receiver and then hang up. read more

FIRST, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, THIS COMPANY ADVERTISES THEY ARE "RENEWAL BY ANDERSON". THEY ARE NOT. In Rhode Island they are a sub-contractor - Moonworks. I purchased an older home in Rhode Island. The windows were original double hung with ropes insulated with "triple track" aluminum storms & screens. Just about every window had a broken rope or a cracked pane of glass. So, I knew I had to replace them. I wanted to make a sound investment in the house so when I resold the windows would be a selling point. There was a 20% coupon advertised on TV and I just moved to the area. So, without any referral I decided to give them a chance. The salesman came - he was friendly enough and said corporate did not allow him to badmouth competitors. Then he started badmouthing competitors - vinyl, wood with aluminum cladding - you name it. I was most concerned about price - my max was $1,000.00/window for wood. His quote - $1800.00/window. And they are NOT wood. Said thanks but no thanks and the discounts started coming. He applied all of the "discounts" down to $1300.00/window and assured me the quality of anyone independent and local would be lousy. I don't know why I thought it was a good idea other than the tech talk about the windows sounded good and I thought the windows would be a good resale investment. So I did the upstairs windows only. No issues with window measurement. The guy who measured the windows was pleasant and done quickly. The install guys were another story. They showed up on the scheduled day. They were grubby, and in an unmarked truck - I don't recall any *uniform* with a company name on it. The "lead guy" bragged that he would get the 10 windows and the storm door all installed in one day. They did. And what a sloppy, nasty job! The caulking was glopped on, they stripped the paint off of the casings and the sealant was sticky and tacky for weeks. It is less tacky now because it is covered with dust and dirt. Because the install is so crappy I don't know if it is a product failure or an install failure but I see no improvement on my heating bills. The upstairs does not retain heat and the first floor with the old windows and storms is much better at retaining the temperature. For $1300/window you would expect close to, if not outright, PERFECTION. This is not even close. The storm door they installed works - it's a nice door - but the installation, again, is shoddy. Lesson learned - do NOT go with big, nationally advertised companies that are not the manufacturer. Not Empire Carpeting, not Renewal by Andersen - NO ONE. They charge the earth and work on the premise of so many customers, it will take a long time for complaints to impact profits. Look for a reputable local guy that DOES THE WORK HIMSELF and knows that if he fails he doesn't eat! I was ripped off and feel it everyday when I look at the installed windows. read more

I can't speak to the quality of work but I will warn you about the consultation process. You are kicked to a central processing center in the Midwest. After you set up a consultation they will leave you a million messages to confirm and ask the same questions over and over. (How many windows? Are they metal? What floor are they on?). Again and again and on and on. They sent me emails and texts four times in the last three days to confirm all this information. So imagine my surprise when here we are, 15 minutes past the appointment window, and they just called again to tell me they had a scheduling error and can't make it today. Sorry, folks, window's closed. I would steer clear of these guys. I am sure their work is fine, but it isn't worth the bureaucratic hassle of dealing endlessly with an incompetent call center that's nowhere close to where we live. read more

A sales agent came to our home and advised us of the following: (1) Unlike other window companies (eg. Pella), Renewal did not subcontract the installation of the windows. Rather, the installers were part of the Renewal "team." (2) Prior to installing the windows, the installers would take steps to cover our wood floors with sheets to prevent damage. (3) The installers would clean up after themselves. Each of these promises was broken. Here's what in fact happened: (1) The installers appear in fact to have been subcontractors who took a certification course with Renewal in order to join the Renewal "team." That this "team" lacked any cohesiveness was testified to by the fact that the installers couldn't make heads or tails of the instructions given to them by Renewal concerning how each window should be installed. Consequently, not only did they call me numerous times at work for clarification, they ended up installing one of the windows incorrectly - a mistake that took 6 weeks to correct. (2) I came home early one day to find the installers dragging a big, heavy window across our beautiful wood floors. No sheets were anywhere to be seen (and I have the photos to prove it). Not surprisingly, our wood floor was not only scratched, but badly dented in places where the installers pushed the windows into the floor in order to pivot and turn to go up the stairs. (3) Rather than clean up after themselves, the installers dug a hole in our yard and deposited their waste into the ground. As a result, not only do I constantly find hardware from the old windows in our backyard - which can be quite dangerous when, for example, a shard of glass or a screw shoots out of the lawn mower at some frightening speed - but the other day I saw a piece of plastic sticking up from the ground. When I pulled on it, I discovered the badly decomposed remnants of one of the installer's lunch, among other things. I've never been so disgusted. While my wife and I are, for the most part, pleased with the windows, we would never use Renewal again. While we felt we had a good rapport with the sales agent, it appears to have in fact been mere smoke and mirrors. Hence when I contacted him to tell him how disappointed I was to discover his workers had buried their garbage in our yard, he didn't even deign to reply. In light of the fact that Renewal windows are on the high end in terms of cost, I expected a lot better. *************************************** Update: 08/23/13 Renewal management contacted me earlier this week after reading this review. They were very upset to learn about how poorly our install went, and seemed genuinely intent on doing what could be done at this late point to rectify the situation. On the basis of this, I would offer the following advice: Renewal windows are excellent windows, well worth, I think, the extra money one ends up spending on them. I would, then, provisionally recommend you consider using them, provided that you are able to supervise the install, and meticulously inspect both inside and out for materials left behind once the installation is complete. I would also urge anyone who does run into any trouble not to be shy about escalating matters up the Renewal chain of command, since it appears that they do indeed take these matters seriously. The representative refused to give me a written estimate. Then used the questionable sales tactic of trying to force a decision the same day for a minimal discount. How can they expect a customer to,spend that kind of money without an itemized estimate or without getting multiple estimates? Only a fool would do that and I'm no fool. My husband and I called renewal by Anderson to replace a half moon window and the two double hung windows under it. Though only 10 years old, it was leaking and the cracked last winter. Of course, the window company was out of business. So we went with Anderson even though they were significantly more expensive because Anderson would be around if we had trouble. Also, during the very slick sales pitch- we were led to believe that we would only be dealing with quary checked Anderson employees- having small kids, this ment a great deal to me. My very non standard window was measured twice and I was promised it would fit and install in one day. Instillation day comes and a subcontractor shows up a Wednesday- not an Anderson employee as promised. The subcontractor tells me around noon that the exterior window will be done today but that the interior part of the window does not fit. It will have to be remade and installed in 2-8 weeks. Anderson will call me. By Friday, no word from Anderson. I call my slick sales rep. He bounces my call to some poor young girl in the office who tells me they have not received a report from the sub contractor yet. So, once they get a report they will call with an instillation date. $7500 and I have sheet hanging in my bedroom window because my blinds don't fit and I am tempted to call a finish carpenter and have them finish the job and keep the $2500 I still owe Anderson. We called Andersen in June, and we are still dealing with these window problems. read more

Two young men came to my open kitchen door as it was getting dark. I was on the floor having a diabetic reaction. I was wearing over $100,000 in Fine Jewelry and was TERRIFIED they were going to rob me. I begged them to leave several times and they both refused. The next thing I know they called the police and said I pointed a gun at them. i was shackled, taken to a dirty jail, denied my lifesaving medications, wound up with HEADLINES in the NEWSPAPER saying Worcester Man Greets Salesmen from Anderson Renewal window systems. It gave my name, address, age. I also lost my FTC card and my handgun and antique rifle that was my grandfathers. Talked to the guy everyday for a week, then have to send repeated emails and call numerous times in order to get a response. Don't do it. Sales Representative sells one thing they deliver another. Then three calls not returned. The only reason they got back to me is when I bashed them in a review. Customer service came out look at the window said it was a bad job and that they would fix it. 3 months later no repair no phone call so I called them back finally and they send somebody out the next week to do another crappy job. By the way they use all subcontractors to do the work so you never know who you gonna get but you know they're doing a crappy job because they don't get paid any more to do a good one. read more

I give only an "Ok" because I didn't expect my new casement windows (l8 months old one and 1 year and 8 months another one) to fail so quickly. I installed a total of 4 casement windows and two of them I couldn't close them all the way in. As if the window dropped from its place a little bit so the hinges in the window did not match the heigh of the brackets on the window frame. Fred from Service came and fixed one right away. The other took a little bit longer. Fred was very professional, courteous and polite. I give him 5 stars. I'm just no happy with the windows because they failed when they are so new and expensive. I have also double hung windows which I'm happy with except for not handle to lift the window so it is not easy to pull it up. They offer me to install some small handles but there is only one style and it looks like a very old style (30-40 years back). They should have a more contemporary styles as well as older styles to complement the windows with the interior design of the house. I was thinking to replace more windows this winter, some new casement and also double hung but now I'm thinking to try other brands/companies. Since they are not going to be in the same room than the Renewal by Anderson windows i don't care much if they are different. I'm looking for excellent windows that I don't have to service so soon. read more

Save yourself the time and stress and DO NOT USE Renewal by Andersen. Their team is full of liars. Horrendous customer service. I am at the end of my rope with them. THREE MONTHS ago we spent over $20,000 in windows. The install job was HORRIBLE. Andersen sent staff out and the first two people laughed about the install job...nice that they recognized the horrible work...but one of the main reasons we went with them in the first place is because they "guaranteed" they only worked with the very best installers. We were told the installers were let go and one window was completely reset. We are STILL waiting for the rest of the work to be complete and all but 1 set of the windows installed continues to look horrible. I made a comment on social media before and Nicole and Nate both responded. Over the phone, Nicole could not have been nicer. I finally felt like the issues were going to be addressed. She sent someone out (although they had to rescheduled twice)...but when the person arrived, he had NO PAPERWORK ABOUT WHAT TO ACTUALLY DO! He walked around the house and said "this was a horrible install job." He apologized, but had NO MATERIALS to actually address the horrible install issues. He did bring (finally) some of our missing screens. My partner was able to reach Nicole and...maybe this was not her fault that the guy showed up with no materials to fix the work - but it's not our job to chase this company as they all point fingers at each other. Our last communication with Nicole was that she would "call back at the end of the day." That was a week ago and NO CALL BACK! It wouldn't surprise me if someone is telling her not to call us back. We've left messages for Nate and Nicole - NOTHING. We were told "we'll soon talk to you about compensation, but want to get the windows right first." NOTHING. We are now being completely ignored. It's disgusting. We were sold a bunch of lies. We were so excited to get our "beautiful Andersen windows" and all we got was poorly installed drafty windows that look terrible inside and out. I just want our old windows and money back. Please do not use them! read more

Renewal byAnderson Windows is the worst place ever for customer service. The sales men came to our home and were so nice trying to sell is window replacements. Well we bought five huge custom made Windows to the tune of $12,000.00. After that, the horror show began. Renewal by Anderson did not return calls for months, however, we were paying the finance company, monthly, for a product not received. The head of the sales department was SO rude and ignorant. He would NEVER work for me. Such a poor representation of the company. But the horror continued. After continued efforts to get our windows, our efforts were to no avail. Then nine (9) months later we were told our windows were already installed. You kidding me? This is the worst window company ever. Finally, we spoke with a young lady who acknowledge the windows were not installed and are in fact in their warehouse. She was respectful and apologetic. A subcontractor, installed them in one day. This company was very respectful and reputable. They earned a five from us. They were amazingly clean, proficient and professional. That being said, the company Renewal by Anderson Windows is awful. Can you imagine? Nine months? The terrible customer service. An alleged management person who, because of his treatment to us, after all we had already been through, I would rate Renewal by Anderson Windows at a big fat ZERO. No stars from us. There are plenty of window companies out there. Do yourself a favor and call them. You won't be sorry. To demonstrate their arrogance, they were informed of our dissatisfaction and never reached out to us to correct their issues. In 2010 my Condo HOA put together a package deal with Renewal for doors and windows in order to get a good price for each homeowner. Windows: we got nothing close to what we ordered, but something much cheeper. After lots of back and forth, Renewal would do NOTHING to correct their screwup. Doors: a nightmare - Opening and Closing takes the strength of a linebacker - now falling apart. Renewal surrounded themselves with layers of contractors and "oh, that man is no longer with us" so as to never take responsibility or do the right thing in order to save their name. No stars! Appalling customer service! We hired Renewal by Andersen to replace a 10 ft. bow window. We decided to replace it with a flat window because we cannot afford a new 10 ft. bow window ($12k). We had the installation appointment on May 15th. My husband took a vacation day from work. They called that morning to tell us they were not coming. Rescheduled to the next Friday, May 22nd. Another vacation day. We told the sales rep and the measurements guy that the foundation on our house is rounded in the front to support the bow window. We made it clear that we expected Renewal to make the front of our house align with a flat window. Both the sales rep and the measurements guy said "no problem. We take care of everything". When they tell you this "DO NOT BELIEVE THEM". The installation guy came on May 22nd and promptly told us there was no way they could adjust our foundation to make it align with the flat window. I have placed numerous calls to our sales rep who does not return most of my calls. On the rare occasion that I have spoken with him, he basically tells me that he has no power to do anything and that he will have someone with decision making authority call me. No one has called me. Even the person that makes the appointments was rude to me. I now have a flat window with a rounded foundation. read more

What a costly mistake I made having Anderson windows install our boxed bay window, New French Patio doors, Palladium Window in our Foyer and a double window in our bathroom. The supervisor of the three man team did nothing but complain about the entire job, from being too large and not having enough days to complete the job. This was not making me feel I was in good hands at all. Well needless to say my husband and I wish we went somewhere else besides Anderson. We ordered our windows in February 2015, they got installed July 6th, yes that's right 5 months after ordering. My $9000 French door does not work properly at all. It's been serviced twice with no resolve. A supervisor came out on July 27th to service the boxed bay window! They called me last week, yes last week to set up another service call for October 27? OMG! A serviceman came to my home yesterday to look at the French doors but said it was too windy to actually see what the problem is? Really, I explained that HIS supervisor said it was a broken spring (we already had a broken lock on the day if installation?) . He suggested that he would write something up and when they come back out in October they will revisit the door, WTF? That's $ 17500 & bad service! In our experience Anderson Windows does not treat their customers very well at all. So we have gone all summer & now most of the fall without using this door? Thank you Anderson Door, not, I just wasted another day off on your company. Not to mention the extra day we had to pay our painter because your installers never caulked the window! Not only that but the "phantom Screen" that we did not select is horrible, we can't open one door without using both screen, it looks awful and now we have to step over a threshold we never had before your windows. I wish I had my home depot slider back, no seriously, I do! If I could give you a minus -1 I would. The only positive I have to share was our salesperson John Beaver, a nice man who has tried to help us but even he has become frustrated with the lack of satisfaction we have gotten. Please if you are thinking about windows my advice to you is use a different company. We just ordered 8 windows from another company ( for 1/3 of the price that Anderson charges , including installation) they are already at my home 1/2 in and very happy. so the salesman comes around may 23rd ,with '3' large suitcases with various parts of the windows.... i'm not an expert, but the windows look solid- i need '4' items replaced.. a slider, a bay window and 2 average size windows... after showing us his wares, the salesman gets around to the pricing... i was thinking 8/9k, my wife (who they insisted when i made the appt has to be there) thought maybe 6k - the price.... 25k.... guaranteed for 12mos...BUT... if i signup within that week, they will give me a 10pct discount, or 22.5k.....BUT... if i sign on the spot, they will reduce by 20pct or 20k... i told the salesman we have to think about it... i helped him to his car carrying one of his suitcases and he tells me that if i get back to him within a few days, he will honor the 20k price..... i wanted to say... ' i bet u will; , but just thanked him for his time.... i think its a good product, but their pricing, high pressure tactic's SUCK.... i had my contractor install all '4' items.... the cost was a touch over 10k for anderson 400 series ... maybe the quality of the 400's is a bit less the the renewals, but it was 1/2 the price.... read more

I should have done more homework. My contractor said they were a great product. WELL......20,000.00 dollars later I cannot get them to come fix a faulty and broken window lock. NO follow up calls to see if I liked my new windows and if I was happy with them. No thank you so much for your purchase. The sales man was your typical salesman. My kids got a kick out of his banging on the window demonstration- a little too over the top ....I was also given the scare tactic with some mold in the windows, telling me if I I had had small children, they would have to report the mold. I waited 4 months for the windows. The day came. 14 windows got replaced. I arrived home to find I needed to spackle and sand 14 window frames. They left caulking everywhere. THEN, on the one window the full frame had to be replaced, I had a 1 inch gap of drywall above the window that I had to spackle,sand and still paint. A complete mess. I spent a day and a half and I am still not done, fixing my window frames after they installed them. I am a single mom, and luckily my son and his friend helped me but it still took us a full day to fix them. Then radio silence. No follow up. I have been emailing my "concierge" and it takes a day or so to hear back from her. I was told they were going to be no where near my town in NH anytime soon to fix the broken latch. So I wait. Would I buy them again... if they were less expensive, yes. Knowing what I know now about the façade of customer service, no. I DO like my windows, just not everything else that goes with it, especially the price tag for what I got. read more

Gone are the days when air seeped in through the sliding doors which means our home and floors have been warmer thanks to replacing the doors. To those thinking you are getting the best you are not! We just and still are going through a nightmare with this company. We purchased 2 doors and 2 windows. Have had a nightmare with the front door. First the door was an off tan color and they call it "primed". Second we were told a storm door was not on the order by the installer when it clearly was on the order form. Third upon my return home from work it was clear the door was the wrong door as there were no windows on it and there were supposed to be. Working with the slick salesman he apparently ordered the wrong slab and it would all be rectified to the spec which was white with a blue storm door. 2 weeks later the storm shows up with another tan door. I call my slick salesman only to get no answer (shocker). I call the office and am told that it is primer and the salesman should've told me that. So now I am looking to be compensated for this disruption, miscommunication, and poor execution of such a reputable name. I am being told I will be sent to collections if I do not sign off on the job so unprofessional for such a reputable company. As for the installers nice guys if you could understand what they were saying (English please). They slapped it all in so quickly I am sure there will be problems down the road. In addition they did not remove the wireless alarm kits so I now need to have ADT come back to reinstall. I cannot explain to everyone the disappointment and treatment we have endured with this company. I do feel the product is solid however everything else about the company and experience has been a major disappointment. For the money you dish out for the name all we have received is one big headache! We highly recommend you steer clear of this company! read more

Our call to get more information and to schedule an estimate visit was the worst experience I ever encountered with any company with which we were trying to buy a product or service. The sales representative was intrusive and invasive, asking questions that were inappropriate in a sales call, and demanding personal information that made us feel the whole process was a scam. I had a dining room window and two doorsinstlled. The window is great but the two doors have had numerous issue. The handle and screen came off one, while the screen on the other came off. So I keep getting emails to do a review.....which I find ironic given the fact that we had many issues with them during our installation process. After so many frustrated discussions, you would think they'd take us off the "please do a review" email chain which I got both from the company and our salesperson, Greg Tautkus. Our issues sound similar to everyone else's.....we had issues in the past with a kitchen renovation where sub-contractors were used so we wanted to avoid the same situation. So, when Greg stated that Andersen did not use sub-contractors, we were pretty much sold. He said they would show up in an Andersen truck with Andersen shirts. Right. (the husband thing also came up for us which i found extremely irritating and sexist) The day of our installation, we had a bunch of guys show up (who were all very nice) in their own cars/van. None of them were wearing Andersen clothing and in fact, were wearing shirts of their own company. We were so frustrated that after the conversation we had, Andersen actually sent sub-contractors to our house. These guys even gave us their business card in case we ever needed other work done. The best part, the manager of the sub-contractor showed up 2 days into the job admitted that he was supposed to be there the whole time but had been in jail. Awesome. When they are done with their work, they have you fill out a form indicating whether you are satisfied. But they are standing right there as you do it and it's super awkward. I wanted to look around at my house, but it was obvious that they wanted to get going. When they left after completing the job, they left 15ft pieces of window materials, we called them about 5 minutes after they left and they said they were on the highway. The materials sat there for weeks. As I then inspected the work, we found that they had damaged a few spots on our walls and stairway when they were carrying materials up to the 2nd floor. I felt like they could have been much more careful dealing with a house that had newly painted walls. The windows themselves are ok. Honestly for how much they cost, I don't love them. There is not a lip to lift them up and I find that a little annoying. But they are quiet and seem to keep the heat out. We complained to Andersen about the fact that our salesperson had flat out lied to us about the sub-contractor. After many many many phone calls they finally offered to refund us a small portion of our total cost. So I guess the situation was resolved to our liking, but the effort that went into it was not worth it. I would NEVER recommend this company which is such a shame given how expensive it is. I contracted with Andersen of Northborough to install 13 windows and 5 doors. What a mistake! The product is okay but the installation was and is a nightmare! The initial install took almost 5 months from start to finish. The first week everything was installed but not to the codes of the condo association. The installers also ruined an exterior door during the initial install. They were filling the void between the door frame and the studs of the home and they let the foam insulation run down the door onto my tile floor. The apologized and told me they would order a new door for me and replace it when it came in. After 4 weeks I hadn't heard anything so I called them - they told me that they had never ordered the door! I currently have a problem with one of the sliding doors they installed. When the temperature goes down below 40 degrees condensation forms on the sill under the moving door for about a length of 12 inches. A repair came to the house to repair and re-sealed the seal on the bottom of the door which didn't solve the problem. Next the installation supervisor came and looked at the problem. he agreed there was something wrong and told me to leave the curtains that cover the door at night open to see if that solved the problem. If it did he suggested I leave the curtains open at night or install a piece of plastic on the hot air vent in front of the door, which by the way would be in the middle of my dining room. I left the curtains open for four nights and each morning had to wipe up the moisture. I called and talked to the supervisor and he told me he would be back to me after he talked to the home office. That was almost 2 months ago. I have called and left 5 messages for the supervisor with no calls back. The product maybe good (though with the issues I'm having I'd have to think about that) but the installation and service from the local office is definitely extremely poor - no where near the 5 stars they profess they will perform to! read more

Mike Baker was back for a second time installing the next round of Anderson Windows. Mike is very professional and good at what he does! He clearly knows what he is doing. He is also friendly, courteous and compassionate. His compassion was evident in his concern for my dog who was terrified of the sound of his nail gun. I highly recommend Anderson Windows. If I could do 0 stars that would be better. Their customer service is terrible. They make appointments but don't bother showing up nor do they call to tell you they can't do the appointment. I've been waiting 5 WEEKS for an answer from them and more than once I'm the one initiating the call. This whole ordeal has been going on for months. I read more

My patio door was installed in February of 2019. I rarely opened it during the winter. I live in Massachusetts. During the summer I was on vacation I used the door very little. Because the bottom lock of the door was installed too low, it damaged the door bottom and the rubber. Since I started using the door later on during the year, I found it out after 3 months after installation. Anderson told me that there is nothing they can do because the door has been installed almost after a year. Anderson does not want to take responsibility of their mistake. Now I have 2 windows installed in September. They all have condensation on it. It is caused by cold air from outside coming into the room and meeting the hot air from inside of the room. Luckily, I had the windows installed during the winter. If they were installed during the summer and I had not noticed it, I would have 2 brand new windows leaking air all over the place. Do not trust Anderson's installation. They are not honest. read more

I got royally screwed by this company! Beware! Slick sales tactics, contract I never saw on an Ipad where I did see one section and the salesman copied, dragged and dropped my signature throughout parts I never saw. I got a bad feeling. When I went to cancel they said I can't. Wndows weren't even ordered a month after signing and they're keeping the whole deposit. $13,000!!! Do not use them. Now I have to hire a lawyer to get the money back. The owner called me screaming at me that I better use them or my windows would fall out. Really? They will do anything to get business. I don't take kindly to scare tactics. Besides their windows are inferior and did I say OVERPRICED! RIPOFF!!!! read more
