Many years ago, when our sixteen year old daughter damaged the bottom panel of one of our two, fairly new, garage doors we had three different garage door companies in Kansas City come take a look to see if it was repairable. The first two companies told us the panel could not be repaired and the entire door would need to be replaced. And because that door was no longer being manufactured, we would need to replace both doors. Renner was the third company we called. They were quick to find a solution to repair our damaged door. Leon Vanderpool called to let me know that he was on his way, as I was told was going to happen. He was here within 15 min or less after his call. He greeted me very politely with a smile. He was informative as he showed and explained to me how he was troubleshooting the issue with our main garage door. He even helped me reset the passcode for both doors. Main garage door roller was coming out of the track-I called in for service-directed promptly to the appropriate scheduling personnel and service date and time was made to fit my schedule. Leon Vanderpool was my service tech, he called 25 minutes before arrival to confirm and arrived ready to fix the problem. On 5/30/18, our 16 foot two car garage door lost its cable attachment and locked in a half open position. Not good. We called Renner to fix it and they sent one of their experts out early the next morning. Leon was able to repair it in less than 20 minutes. He lubed all moving parts and replaced one roller guide wheel. He checked door function and made sure all was well before he left. Leon is very much an expert. His experience was priceless. Leon's a straight up legit boss! Had a phantom frequency problem so the garage was sometimes left open randomly, or close. Made it terrifying to drive through really. He also gave us advice if it continues to happen after resyncing the devices, about the lock feature, daayyuum, tech savvy.
