After receiving an excellent plus (+++) facial from Lady Kayla (highly recommend her magic touch), I also decided to explore a few of the other services offered at IceBox...which, by the way, I call "the Box" now because it truly feels like home. I experienced both the leg compression therapy and the red light facial therapy, and they were the perfect additions to my self-care routine. The entire staff makes every visit welcoming and uplifting, and I always leave feeling refreshed, recharged, and a little more in love with taking care of myself. A special thank you to Kayla and all the wonderful ladies at the Box. Team work makes the self care dream work... you all make self-care something I actually look forward to cannot wait till the next appointment.

I was depressed with how I let myself go. At night my heart felt funny and it was hard to get comfortable. I've dont the pills before but I think my mindset was different those times. This time I reached out as a last resort and was ready to take this seriously. I was on the 15 mg for about 2 weeks and the bumped up to the 30mg and stayed constant with keto and excercise. It took me around 5 months to drop 58 pounds. The pills do stop working after awhile so it's up to you. I was nice having a crutch but I knew that I needed to do this on my own eventually. I'm very happy with my results and I will continue to get my B12 shots.

I'm not sure if I just was too far into being sick but their b12 had no impact on me. I didn't feel an increase of energy and I continued to be sick for another week. I'm sure that isn't their fault unless just the quality of the b12 was an issue or maybe not enough? Not sure. So the -2 stars wasn't because of that... it was because I went there for a b12 shot because I was sick and it turned into a weight loss meeting and I felt somewhat body shamed. I was sick. Needed b12 and I could have been spared the whole talk about my weight and what I need to do and what they can do for me for my weight. I probably won't be back because I feel awkward to go back.

All my previous experiences were my choice by following yelp reviews. I was new to the area , I had no clue where to go so I relied on like folks to guide my needs. Each previous experience was different. Not knowing what to expect, I was soon another patient in the "workout" room with others with various aches and pains. From my previous therapies, I did feel like it was resolving, however the pain never completely went away. After months with little change, while almost resolving to accept my pain as my new norm, I turned to a surgeon to begin to seek out my steps to finalize the pain. I began that visit by seeing the Physician Assistant - a very knowledgeable and informative PA. His prognosis was one that would be a good candidate for Physical Therapy. Oh no!, I thought, here I go again. While I'm about to interject with my experiences, he quickly followed up with " you need to see the folks over at Orthomed"... what? Who are they?. He goes on to explain the individual hands-on technique that these folks employ in their therapy. OMG , From day one and throughout all my one hour, hands-on experiences, I can say that my pain has and is becoming totally manageable. So I want to share my experience. After two kids, I have pelvic floor issues. I went in seek of help with sneezing and peeing, leaking when running, and a naval hernia. As others said, during my first few visits it was refreshing to be treated with both western and eastern type of healing approaches. I had my first experience with acupuncture. However after each visit I was confused on if anything was changing, I couldn't feel any difference. After 5 visits I realized that's all they could offer. She had given me a total of three exercises to do. In the 6th visit I asked "what other exercises can you give me, what's next?" And she told me "work up to 1000 reps of kegels every day." That was it. I didn't come back. I can find way more information online about diastasis rectis than what she provided me. Do not go here to get help with pelvic floor care.
