The spa seemed clean, but one of the saunas was out of order the day I was in. The massage was great! The attendant asked me for my pressure preference and the aromatherapy was not overwhelming or overpowering. My massage took about an hour but I had access to the facility for the day. I did leave after an hour since there wasn't much to do other than the hot tub and one sauna. Overall, I enjoyed the services but I do wish they offered more, like a pool, salt room, or other amenities.

We've been paying for a membership now for two years, but we are certainly reconsidering that decision. First of all we traveled all the way from Southern California, and we actually went to buy swimwear as so she could enjoy the amenities, beforehand as she has done before. Today she ran into a receptionist who refused to grant her that privilege, I immediately told her I could pick her up, but she told me she'd be done sooner, according to them. She said that they denied her because it was to limit the exposure to heat prior to the injections? Did some recent study just get published that says exposure to a sauna, jacuzzi or a steam room before getting injected 90 minutes prior is dangerous? I just find it hard to believe that this policy is in place when she arrived well over an hour before her appointment for them not to allow her to enter the facility with a day pass is very unpleasant action. Then to tell her that they would see her sooner but subsequently fail to meet that objective and to make her wait the entire time without any word or update is atrocious behavior. Because they did not see her sooner they basically cheated her out of a large portion of her day. How is this acceptable? How do the owners think this is treatment their clients deserve? This is as nasty as the ring at the bottom of a public toilet. You stressed my wife out, and made her far more tense than when I had initially brought her! What exactly is the point of ruining her day? Why is management unable to make good on their word? Why lie to her? Is this how you treat the people who support your business? What she hoped to be a refreshing experience turned into a nightmare. How can we possibly continue to support such an establishment in good faith? Why travel from LA? Why buy swimwear? Why have a membership here? These are the questions my experience from today are leaving me with. It enrages me that you disappointed a loyal customer and she's too sweet and kind to say it herself but the only memorable moments she'll take are that you were mean and you lied to her, and she'll probably blame herself. Not the best wellness in my opinion. This spa clearly has issues that it needs to resolve before I'd recommend anyone bringing themselves or someone they cared about here. Stay away from places like this.

Her aesthetician training was in evidence with the pre- and post-treatment support she provided. As I'd never had laser treatments in the past I had nothing to compare to, but Molly gets it right. I witnessed her planning, assessment, action, reassessment...proper skin prep before, full aftercare with products she put into little containers to send home with me, detailed instructions. I highly recommend Molly and trust her judgement and skill.

She did a procedure that's called a "exchange " because I had an implant that burst. I'm not sure why it did but it hurt me tremendously. I initially was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 and had a double mastectomy at the time. That surgeon did a horrific job because they were incredibly tight so I had them redone in 2014 to make them smaller and just more comfortable at that point. When I started to have pain in my right implant I could tell that the implant had ruptured just because how it looked and felt. The pain is also a good indicator. I went to see Dr. McCormack at her beautiful office that has the surgery center in the same building. Great for her! Nice planning. The front desk people made sure the would not be happy to help with the insurance in anyway...My surgery would be covered since the implant burst. It was a complete pain to get them to get me the doc notes and photos. The lied to me a couple of times until I FINALLY received them. I mean 10 grand is a great vacation for me. I would never get any further procedures at this office because you barely deal with the doc just with those awful front desk persons. I get it you don't want to deal with insurance but seriously they just couldn't be bothered with my request. Annoying

She did not disclose all the details of what her recommendations would look like. Additionally, my results were the opposite of what I had hoped, and now I have to live with it every time I look in the mirror. I'm not convinced that Dr. McCormack is even concerned with her work, since I never saw her during any of my follow ups. And when I expressed my concerns during my year of healing, her staff would just try and reassure me. It's been over a year. I healed well, but the results are not good. I spent a lot of money on my surgery, but spent additional money on having to pay my bills while being off work during recovery, which I expected. With all the money I ended up paying all together, I certainly did not expect to get such poor results. And I cannot afford to go take more time off work and go back into surgery to get it fixed. When I can afford to get this fixed, I will certainly be going to a different plastic surgeon.

I had just…read moremoved to the city and didn't have a referral, but SCD was kind enough to let me see a provider as soon as possible and rushed me in for an appointment. When I came in for my appointment, the girl at the front desk didn't really have the brightest personality, but I wasn't there for her so continued along with the appointment hoping to get some relief for this rash that spread throughout my body. I saw one of the nurse practitioners there. The first appointment went fine enough, she examined me thoroughly. I explained to her the situation, and told her I wanted to do a biopsy. She was hesitant and I let it go, I should have pushed harder. She gave me medications which did help in the long run, fast forward 3 months after that my rash came back. I was quite upset. I had again asked her to do a biopsy and she had kept stating that I had some sort of "generalized dermatitis" (however, after further research and a better dermatologist in California, I had a rash called Pitayasis Rosea, and was treated for it, but that's besides the point.) I wish she would have given me the graciousness of knowing my body and my symptoms. But that isn't the only reason this place gets one star. The billing office is absolutely so disorganized, they lost my hardship papers three times, and lied to me and told me that they didn't even do hardships. I was told they would put my account on hold and they still sent me to collections. It's still getting sorted out with the supervisor, but the way they notate things and communicate is clearly not working, they need a serious rehaul on how to do that. They pride themselves on being the best in Reno but I would seriously reconsider going to them if you haven't yet. As someone who works in healthcare, I'm aware the care we get in Nevada is less than stellar, but there's no reason for so many things to go wrong in one office.

So I filled out the paperwork, paid my co-pay and waited for about 10 minutes. When I was called in the back, I was greeted quite nicely by a lady, and when I went into the back room, it was pretty huge. Quite a few of the workers said hi to me as I was led to a room. I had been feeling under the weather from a mild cold I was recovering from, and I was about to go on a 3 day trip to Southern Cali so I wanted a boost before I left. Best decision! I walked into Thrive IV Wellness Lounge, filled out some paperwork, and was quickly brought back to the IV lounge area where Crosby (the IV Tech) asked me a few basic medical history questions and explained the options available and the benefits of each "IV cocktail". Since my goal was get a bit of an immunity booster it was suggested I get the Essential Cold Care IV pack which is packed with a ton of vitamins/upplements. Most people aren't needle fans, including me but I must say the insertion was actually easy and painless. The lounge area was quiet and relaxing, had plenty of recliners, and I was even offered water and a snack. Once the drip started, my arm felt a bit chilly which I was warned about, and it took about 50 mins for my body to consume the fluids. The quickest results I noticed was the relief of the mild headache I've had for the last 2 days. It completely disappeared 15-20 mins into my session, so that was awesome. Well, it's now 9 hours post IV Therapy and I feel better than I have the last 3 days and had enough energy to take a pilates class. Safe to say I'm a believer and I will be back! If you're on the fence about trying IV Therapy, you'll be happy to hear new clients get 20% off their first IV therapy session.

I opted for the Covid Cosmo (now known as the Essential Cold Care) and the extra 500 ML saline solution ($25). I was surprised that it included: Vitamin C, B-12, B-complex, Magnesium, Zinc, Lysine, Biotin, Glutathione, Selenium & NAD+ and vitamin D. The price was only $200. After a gastric bypass in 2001 left me chronically dehydrated and unable to absorb vitamins/nutrients, leaving me with both nutritional and vitamin deficiencies. I've been having medically prescribed IV infusions for years and my out-of-pocket co-pay is always more than $200. I started with an email to Thrive Infusion IV Wellness Lounge asking for an IV infusion appointment for the following Wednesday for the afternoon. I was immediately contacted by Lindsey and confirmed for a 1:00. She texted me to confirm my IV selections, my appointment and gave me the address. They are located inside their sister company: Brain Health Restoration. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by Christine at the front desk and soon afterwards my nurse; Crosbie arrived to take me back. The facility was very clean and quiet. Crosbie reviewed my intake paperwork; and she was both knowledgeable and thorough. I didn't feel rushed in any way and appreciated the time she took to respond to my questions. Once connected my IV with the extra hydration took about 90 minutes to drip. Crosbie was attentive, easy to talk to she checked my IV regularly making sure it was flowing well. We chatted and before I knew it, I was done. When I arrived, at best I was hoping to leave feeling refreshed. But I left feeling that the boost to my immune system was immediate had 100% absorption. I feel my energy and mental clarity have improved, even my sleep has been notably better. I am so grateful to the Thrive team for making my visit a positive experience from beginning to end. I am looking forward to coming in regularly to maintain this natural high and can't wait to try the new oxygen therapy and PH balance. Maureen Price
