This contractor built a garage and carport that look good from the outside, which is the main reason for the two stars. Unfortunately, the workmanship behind the appearance felt rushed and required more homeowner oversight than expected. During framing, I had to raise several quality concerns that should have been caught by the crew, including misaligned roof framing, multiple anchor bolts with a split bottom plates, boards not sitting flush, and general issues related to a rushed job. These were not cosmetic issues, but basic workmanship and quality-control items. They also committed to returning to seal around the windows and have not followed through, leaving that item unfinished. It's been over two weeks since final payment. My advice to future customers is to inspect the work carefully as it progresses and not make final payment until all punch-list items are fully completed and verified. Once payment is made, unresolved items may remain unresolved. I also recommend reading some of the more critical reviews, as similar themes appear there as well. read more

We contracted for a 12x18 backyard shed. We opted for a concrete slab - very expensive at $3,500 (in addition to the cost of the shed). For that price, we expected professional grade quality. Instead, the concrete slab was poorly leveled (wavy) with improper dimensions, which did not match the structure's dimensions, leaving gaps all along all sides of the structure and in one corner, the structure overhangs the slab almost completely. Even the door threshold sits higher than the concrete and readily depresses when stepped upon.  (see pics) We contracted for an "overhang shed" but materials delivered to the site were mistakenly for a different style . . . luckily I recognized the wrong style going up and they had to stop mid-build to correct the 'mishap', as Jerry the owner called it. Unprimed trim boards were used and not primed when installed, so now the back sides of all the trim boards are bare and more subject to moisture absorption / deterioration over time. The caulking was incomplete with the T1-11 grooves left wide open over the door and window trim, allowing rain water to freely flow behind the trim pieces onto bare wood. The concrete crew left gravel and dirt in the yard and street, which I now have to clean up, as promises Jerry made to clean it up remain unfulfilled. We selected WoolfSheds with confidence in the principles they cited in their brochure: "superior quality", "precision craftsmanship", "ensured quality control" . . . unfortunately, this was not our experience. We had hoped to contract with them for a planned carport out front and covered patio out back, but based on this experience, we will have to continue our search for a suitable vendor, unfortunately. read more

Fast to complete the project. A little too fast. Lots of cut corners and cheap products used. Door came with a big ding in it, sloppy paint job, the framing around the door had huge gaps that needed to be filled, the floor boards are all cracked and warped. Some problems like the house wrap peeling away on two walls because it wasn't attached property, holes on the outside siding, and door not opening was addressed and fixed a few days after I was told it would be fixed. read more

I had a shed built in the middle of november and here it is a week into January and its still not finished. They forgot to install the work bench, did a sloppy job on the paint, installed the latch to lock the shed backwards so it can't be used and they left all these stickers on the windows. When i called and complained instead of telling me they would clean all the stickers off, they gave me instructions on how to rid of all the sticky crap left behind. I didn't pay over $4,000 to have to have a chore at the end of it. the shed is still unusable since I can't lock it as well I would have to remove anything I put in there when/if they ever show up to install it. I should have never paid upfront and then they might have made me a priority to get there money. They have poor customer service and could care less about how upset I am over there oversight. Save yourself the frustration and go with another company. read more

They built three buildings for us. Their warranty expired in three years, shortly after that the the doors began to rot. Very poor workmanship, especially the finish out. Paint was put on too thin to protect the wood. Caulking was terrible and led to rot on the doors just as the warranty ran out, imagine that. Not even 4 years old and they are in need of repair. The workers work much to fast and were sloppy. One worker had to use the bathroom, rather than ask, he found a spot behind some trees to leave his deposit and toilet paper. Disgusting. Asked if he would fix the rot where the caulking was improper, he never replied. Not trustworthy. It also took way longer to build them then he said it would. Gave him a punch list, took a month to address it. Said the guy that did the building, an independent non-employee, was too busy. Stay away. read more

Looked online, saw what I wanted. They came to my house picked up a check for the deposit. Called to tell me what days were available, made the appointment for them to come out to do the job. They were at my house at the appointed time, finished in one day. I never had to leave my house or suffer driving in traffic. Easy peazy, very happy with the result. read more
