Since my primary care physician left, almost a year ago, I have been trying to get established with a new doctor. Because the doctor had to reschedule two times, and it takes over 3 months to meet with someone as a new patient, I am now going on over six months of waiting... Even if it was the doctor who cancelled each time. I do not mind needing to be rescheduled, but when it takes over 3 months it gets pretty frustrating. If I had a major medical illness this would be very problematic. But, because I am a complete push over I still zipped by lid, rescheduled, and waited patiently. 6 month later, The day I have been waiting for has arrived!!! But wait, yet another cancellation has happened, this time without any notice. At this point, I will not be calling back and I am done with Renown. The only reason why I am not giving this review one start is because my previous doctor was phenomenal.

Not only did I do the check in and signing online I also had talked to the person when I arrived and she asked the routine questions and then said I was all set and they'd call me in a bit...to me that sounds like I was checked in. I finally get called and sit in the room for only about 7 minutes thankfully and then the doctor comes in looks at my face at a distance and proceeds to tell me she'll prescribe me steroid cream for my face, apparently she thought it was eczema. Terrible experience and I'll never go to this location again. The front desk staff didn't show any concern or apologize for them not doing their job correctly.

Here's the funny part... while I was writing this review, Yelp says they close in 42 minutes, and my phone time was 3:18pm. Seriously? Is this a joke? Who's managing this location?

So don't go here and expect to feel loved or even respected. But if you use the LabCorp app to make an appointment (highly recommended) they will get you in and out efficiently. They are the LabCorp equivalent of a dive bar that you just can't quit.

I had checked in on line which saved me about 15 minutes. Paid my co-pay, waited about 15 minutes and was called into a room. Vitals done, check then a brief wait for my " New Primary"! She was friendly and extremely thorough, we spent an hour going over my medical history and I got some orders for routine bloodwork and a bone scan which I've never had. I'm happy to have Shannon as my new PCP and asked her to please not leave! ( She said she wasn't planning on it!).

I've booked an appointment online ahead of time and have had great success with getting an appointment in a shortened booking window, aka the day before or morning of. The first appointment was after Thanksgiving 2023. Staff was super efficient and seemed to care. Sometimes during the holiday season, I've encountered gruff employees who are just over the season. But not here. Staff took their time and focused as if I was the only patient in the building. I was in and out with my appointment in record time. My second appointment was right after new years, or so I thought. I don't think I completed the appointment booking process, but staff was super kind and got me in as a walk in. She told me there were two ahead of me, so I hunkered down thinking I'd be waiting for an hour or so. Nope, 15 minutes and I was back being seen. It seemed that one lady was being trained by a guy, so my only critique would be that I was told she was training because I was certainly confused why I had two nurse people this time and only one the last time. The Nurse Practioners/Doctors I saw each time were very caring and thorough with their diagnosis/prognosis/aftercare. Would Definitely recommend this location.

Nice to know there's a company out there to handle matters with ease and professionalism. Whether you have a company with a lot of employees or have individual requirements, this is the facility. They offer an extensive range of personal and legal AABB certified DNA paternity tests, DOT reasonable suspicion and 24/7 mobile on-site drug and alcohol testing, and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. The prices for their services are really a bargain. They also offer affordable group prices for your company. The at home dna kits come in a discreet envelope so you are able to get the samples without unwanted scrutiny. Another plus, most companies want you to open an account, Detect Lab doesn't. You can order an individual drug test for yourself....one time.

BUT once you are at the center, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. During this recent visit, the young lady at the front reception room was very courteous and professional. The mammogram technician I encountered during this visit, Megan, was a consummate professional, she was very clinical and gave precise, easy instructions to follow. I've always had a positive experience at Reno Diagnostic Centers and I will more than likely continue using their services in the future.
