I requested to have my car towed to house which was a few miles from my accident and he has to go past my house to go to his tow yard. I was told he had to take it to his tow yard and to contact him after we talked to the insurance. After we talked to the insurance we realized that they would only pay for a portion of our repair since it has tons of after market additions. (Yup we will be litigating) and we had the wrong insurance for that. It is a lifted Jeep with lots of add ons. So we opted to buy a new car and slowly have the car repaired. I ended up in the ER the next day. So we figured this out 2 days after my accident we called to have the car towed back to our house. It is literally 5 miles away. The owner never answered. We called again the day after. We also called and emailed during the weekend. No answer. The next day was a Monday. My husband called and he told him it was $950. He also told him that I refused to have the vehicle towed to my house. PS I never talked to this guy on the scene of my accident. It was a rollover and I was able to walk away but I was stunned that I lived. So my husband called him on an 3 way call. I explained that it was asked if he could take it to our house since he has to take it by our house and again he stated that I talked to him. He stated that I stated that I didn't have cash on site. I never talked to him. He then stated that I also didn't have insurance. Umm yes dumbass or I did or I would have been gotten a citation at the scene. He then stated that I pay up or give him the title. Nice scam! He doesn't accept any other payment but cash. Wtactualf? So I showed up with cash and again he was a raging asshole and then it was $200 more dollars to take it 5 miles back to my house. He then said again stated that I didn't have insurance. I offered to show him. asked for an itemized receipt and he wrote the delivery fee in? Scam again. He also couldn't deliver my vehicle until the next day.cause he was too busy cleaning his camper worth his Mother? I did take his license number for BBB, NY Consumer Bureau, IRS, NY Attorney General office, and to share on Reddit, SM. Also the 'good' review on here is his family or gf. Ordered a car for 3-days through Enterprise while my girlfriend's car was getting repairs done so…read moreshe could have something to drive for work. Received a confirmation/ reservation number and was advised that a car would be ready. Dropped off my girlfriend this morning and nothing was in the parking lot. A little weary, she walks in to find that they don't have anything available. They aren't really sure when a car will become available but "we can keep checking back". What is the point of confirming a reservation (or even allowing someone to make a reservation in the 1st place) if there won't be any cars available on the confirmed pick-up date and time????? Ridiculous. A complete inconvenience to my family. VERY disappointed with Enterprise. Don't do it!!
