I took my motorhome to Brian to have a new refrigerator installed. It was a fiasco from day one and…read moreI knew I should have listened to my instincts and walked away but I didn't. At first were several scheduling issues which cost us almost $2000 in unnecessary alternate accommodations. Later I realized that he had thrown the new fridge in, secured it with only 2 screws and a sheet of plywood. After that I had to fix 3 water separate water leaks. I also discovered the propane line was leaking because the threads on the gas valve had been cross threaded. I contacted Brian several times to have him repair his shoddy sorkand each time he told me he forgot about it. He finally just quit returning my calls. We started having cooling issues with the fridge a couple weeks ago and turns out the top and bottom fridge trim pieces were still in the coils. I would NEVER trust my rig to him again.

Avoid this place. I would not recommend this rv repair shop to ANYONE! Their business practices are…read morequestionable and unethical. We sought their services to install our Roadmaster towing kit to our Jeep. AFTER they supposedly detached the front bumper from our brand new 2018 Jeep they said they then noticed parts were missing (6 nuts) from our Roadmaster RV towing kit, which were supposed to be used to install the kit. The office called informing us it would be at least two weeks before a replacement hardware parts kit would be available and for now it would cost us $280.00 for the labor provided so far, without installing anything. In addition, we were told the 6 nuts would run us an additional $200+ dollars, if we wanted them to order them for us, since according to them we would have to order the entire hardware replacement kit and the 6 nuts could not be ordered independently from the entire hardware kit. Consequently, our options were to either leave the vehicle with them for two weeks or have them re-attach the bumper and return the vehicle to them once the replacement part kit for the 6 nuts arrived. None of this passed the common sense test for us since the tow kit was brand new and provided to us by the dealership directly and so was the Jeep. We immediately contacted Roadmaster directly and they confirmed the 6 nuts could in fact be ordered individually. They also established the kit only required and called for two nuts, not six. With all the information at hand and realizing their very deceptive business practices we declined to have RV Solutions install the tow kit. Regardless, the owner quickly and without pause took our money and proceeded to profusely raise his voice in ugly condescending tones blaming us for not inventorying the parts before he detached the bumper when in fact HE, as the expert, should have inventoried the parts and the requirements prior to dismantling ANYTHING or even taking on any project. When we picked up our vehicle the plastic air-dam/skid plate was not attached and was ditched in the back of our Jeep. The tech stated they didn't re-install it once they noticed the nuts to the tow kit were missing. This easily implies they only removed the air-dam/skid plate and not the front bumper or anything else. So as you can see, all of it was shady. Bottom-lime, we were robbed. Stay clear of this place. We will be taking our vehicle to a ethical and reputable RV Shop.

When we finally received the camper, it was extremely dirty. The floor was sticky and brown, the kitchen drawers left brown residue when touched, and overall the interior was in poor condition--loose drawers, a broken microwave turntable, etc. When we pointed this out, the employee helping us said it was because her colleagues were "lazy," but she made no effort to get the RV cleaned. On top of that, the towels and linens we rented were unacceptable: stained, with yellow marks, burn holes, and even black hairs in the washcloths. We told Cruise America the condition of the RV and linens was unacceptable, but were simply told that no other RVs were available since each customer is pre-assigned a specific vehicle. As we had a long drive ahead and needed to reach our destination before dark, we reluctantly took the RV and ended up buying our own towels and sheets. At drop-off at another location, we again shared our experience, but the response was just "sorry to hear about that," with no attempt to make things right. The lack of cleanliness, the poor state of the RV, the condition of the rented linens, and the dismissive customer service made this an awful experience. It was clear that Cruise America staff simply didn't care. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for RV rentals.

I was told that I could drive to Baton Rouge (5 1/2 hours away) to pick one up. Cruise America did NOTHING to help find a RV locally. After 2 hours I was able to find a smaller one in Enterprise. Picked it up and the NIGHTMARE started! Toilet was leaking after the 1st day. The water in the tank that we tried to shower with was brown. It started raining where we were at and we noticed water at the top of the sleeping cabin- it was LEAKING! As we drove the RV back EARLY because we could no longer use the RV it started leaking inside the cabin on the driver's side and passenger side! The only way to contact ANYONE regarding a concern- complaint is by email and it takes 10-15 days for a response. Once they finally did reach out by email only, they have NO desire to compensate for the disaster of an RV that was rented to us. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!
