Eagle's Landing RV Park was clean with large pull through sites. The laundry room has three washers and dryers. It was very clean and allowed you to pay with a credit card or coins. If you like to walk and get your steps in, there are plenty of rows to walk. It is all gravel, no cement slabs. You do have full hookup. The site was very quiet and near a small town that had a dollar store and a small store with gas. There is not much to do as the population is around 5K. We did go to two parks to walk our dogs. There was a stream with a beach to hang out at and tube, but no dogs are allowed. However, there was some trails to walk your dogs. read more

We needed a layover for several nights, before hitting Miramar Beach. The campsite itself was fine. I had zero issues with the layout and FHUs worked well. No amenities but we weren't planning to hit a pool. Only issue with this place - it's just not near anything less than a 30 min drive. We took our dogs to the river park which was nice but not something we would do multiple times. Tried a "nearby" brewery but that was a major fail. Knowing the area now, I would have picked another city to spend a few nights. Sorry Holt and really sorry Eagles Landing. read more

What a little gem of an Rv Park, we decided to stay at a park tonight instead of Boondocking, because we wanted to plug into Airco as it was super hot. We are definitely not used to the heat so this was a wonderful stop. The manager here is a veteran from the Marine Corps, and so was our son, so it was like they were paralleling the same lives, he was wonderful nice guy. This park is absolutely very clean, the laundry room, the bathrooms everything is tidy the spaces are tidy so this is definitely a gem. We were right across from the bathroom and it was so nice to be able to walk over and take a shower. Highly recommend this park. We felt very safe. It's right off of I10, so easy access. read more

Pleasant stay, nice people in the office and no issues with the utilities or neighbors. Utilities are placed intelligently, I could have connected the water with a 5 ft hose, the electric with a 4 ft cord and the sewer with a 6ft hose. Site are clean fine gravel and pretty much level, very little or no shade but I prefer that over birth droppings on my awning since awnings are not easy to clean. Mom and Pop and daughter operation run very efficiently. Very close to the I yet you are not bothered by the noise. Very close to Crestview. I do recommend this and if I am ever in the area I will return. Just bring your checkbook read more

Back again on our trip WEST, this place is where you stop when you want easy on easy off access to the interstate. Second year buzzing through this campground and it's nice. No worries fighting Pensacola traffic for a campsite, so much easier. read more

Although it's a well kept campground, we won't be back. The no portable fence rule with no other option to run our large breed dogs does it for us. :/ we will be traveling on the other side of I-10 to to rivers edge campground while visiting family weeks on end. We have been to many well kept campgrounds that allowed portable fences. Try keeping large breed dogs in an RV with no way to get energy out... your RV will show it. We travel to this area multiple times a year for a week+. I'd happily give our money to a park that allows our dogs to play outside. read more

Rob and his family's RV park have been great host. My family and I we're coming back from Disney world with our camper when my truck broke down one exit away from eagles landing. I called the RV park right when it was closing and he made accommodations for my family while I waited for a tow vehicle. Rob stayed up after hrs to make sure we all got in safe and also let us borrow his personal vehicle so we could get food for our 3 little kids. RV park is nice and very well kept. Nothing bad to say about our stay. read more

Clean, spacious, easily accessible. This RV park was pretty full. Dog walk not enclosed, 2 shower/ bathrooms. WiFi was high speed but for fee. Could definitely use more trash cans around but then again I didn't tour the entire lot all I know is I couldnt find 1 but found the dumpster. I didn't tour the club house but read they have 1. Our review of Eagle's Landing RV Park Beware of this park. We have stayed here three times. We notified Rob the owner on our way in that we were having trouble with our engine. He told us not to worry and take care getting in. The following day we called no less than 15 companies trying to get someone out. It took a favor from one of the guests to get a man out to look at it on our 3rd day being stuck in the park. After quite some time he called in a favor and we were to limp our coach to his shop about a mile away. While leaving the park we had complete failure. As a result of trying to get the coach going again Rob came back to the rear of the park where we were stuck and had a meltdown. Yelling at us the guests and at the repairman saying he doesn't want repair work done on his property. Very disrespectful. We will not be back. The last day we were here he didn't bother to see what the status was he just charged my card without notice. read more

The park has just over 100 spots with plenty of space out your front door as well as to the front and back, Full size truck space on each side. The north side of the park has a huge long strip of open land specifically for dogs. Dogs have to stay leashed but that's why they invented extending leashes. They also don't discriminate against breeds of dogs. The ground is free of poo, one owner stated that there are over 100 dogs in the park but you'd never know because everyone is so good about picking up after them. I think you'd also never know because most of the dogs are little indoor lap dogs who rarely go outside. I've seen about 5 dogs so far. There is no cable but, that is completely normal in state parks of course so it wasn't disappointing to us. With antennae you get about 40 channels, 15 "good" ones, and that's still more than we usually get (It also apparently has excellent satellite reception). The park also has public restrooms and showers, pretty normal, except that Eagle's landing only has one toilet shower combo room per gender, (Most people are using their own showers and toilets though so don't think you wont get a chance at it), and they have a laundry room with 3 washers and 3 dryers for only $1 each! Before we were even setup I was walking to the laundry to take advantage, and a nice old lady even folded my clothes while we were out (I'd only told her she could move them if I wasn't back and she wanted the dryer, nice!). We spent Christmas and New Years here and have now returned after 2 weeks in Pensacola to take care of some unfinished business in Crestview. Because the park is basically a big field and its been an especially cold winter here, we weren't able to keep our awning out because of the wind but it was much to cold out to be outside anyway. The weather got down to 18 degrees around Christmas so we prepared our hoses and pipes as best we could and kept the place warm with out new space heater. Eagle's Landing RV Park is probably the best RV park between Tallahassee and Pensacola (inland), No creepy people, awesome owners and everything you could need from an Rv park - and at an awesome price (like $138 a week plus $1 a day for internet). Its also away from the freeway and doesn't have train tracks for an airport next to it. Win win! read more

Very nice people. Bathrooms and showers were private and spotless. They discounted our rate since we didn't use any utilities. I always appreciate that. More and more RV parks are trying to charge tent campers who don't plug in the same as RV folks who run their AC's all night. read more

This rv park is conveniently located off of I 10 and the price was reasonable. The employees were nice and the grounds were well cared for. Would stop there again for a longer time ,when we are back in this area. It was a nice place to stay. read more

Hard to add anything that hasn't already been said, but Eagles Landing is an unknown gem. Rob and Sue (the owners) keep the place spotless. Huge, long gravel pull-through sites (no back in sites on the property except for storage sites), dog run, clean bath houses and laundry. The Location is a bit isolated, but that's how they provide such low rates. The beaches of Fort Walton, Pensacola and Destin are all less than an hour away. For everyday shopping and groceries, Crestview is 12 miles away. You could travel all through Florida and you'd be hard pressed to find a better place to stay than Eagles Landing. read more

Price was right and the young men (owners son) was very nice, courtious and knowlegable during checking. If more young men and women had his customer servicskills the work force would be much better off. The campground was clean, restrooms, the grounds, office by place looked nice. Easy in easy out. Gorgeous RV park. Easy on and off to I-10. Only stayed one night but will return. Young lady at office has exceptional telephone courtesy and came in after hours to receive/welcome us! Spot was wide, roomy and level gravel. Price was right, $25/night with military discount. read more
