After receiving a defected bike that…read morebroke down at 29km while in heavy traffic and almost killing myself, they took a few days to come and get the bike. After losing a day off work, and having to fork out for a tow, I had to fight the company to cover the bill. After taking another day off for the delivery date, they didn't show up, and not even a phone call. It's been over a week they have had the bike, still not fixed. After speaking to the owner, I find out the bike doesn't even have the specs I was told. 3 promised dates of completion by the staff, still no bike. I'm told by the owner, someone will call me with an update, of course no call. Call the shop to find out what's going on, the parts didn't come in the day they said they would (honestly not surprising at this point). It will be about 2 weeks they have had the bike, I was lucky enough to own the bike for about 12 hours total, while they jerk me around for a couple weeks. I'm about ready to call the finance company, cancel my finance, and buy elsewhere. Buyer beware when dealing with this shop. As a automotive service technician of 20 years, if I did this to a customers car, I'd be sued, and be lucky if I didn't have to pay for a rental. The company doesn't even offer a loaner bike, while yours is in service. I feel for anyone with a mobility scooter that has to deal with these guys, they would likely become a shut in. Setup a call recorder app on your phone, and save all text messages when dealing with this company. See how many lies you can catch them in. I have 3 so far including failed delivery dates. You may need it for court, I'm thinking I will soon enough. BBB is my next call. So after 2 months of ownership, a massive repair on controller, motor and wiring, the guys have still not fixed the bike properly, as it was returned to me with more issues than when it went in for repair. No exchange, the refund, and I'm stuck with a defective item, at least until the Better Business Bureau gets hold of my file. I would highly recommend buying elsewhere.

Ecclestone Cycle has been caring for our old (30+ years) bikes for several years without ever suggesting that we should really get new bikes - which is basically what I was told by other local bike shops when I was initially repairing the old bikes. Ecclestone got us new parts and installed them at very reasonable prices and then continued to make repairs and tweaks at extremely good service prices for the last several years. Recently we decided we would really enjoy new bikes and we didn't consider going anywhere else. The service and great attitude we have received there was enough to sell us that there is no better place to get bikes, parts and service. And this week we became the owners of new Kona bikes - the owners and staff spent literally hours helping us learn about bikes, helping us choose bikes and then teaching us how to work the gears and new things about riding etc. It isn't possible to have a more positive experience than we've had. The owners and staff, including the students who work there, are genuine, warm, friendly, helpful and never pushy. Exceptional!!!!
