I hired them to repair my concrete for the summer of 2025 from there contract at 150.00. Then my card got charged 1000.00, with placing many calls and emails to them, with no ONE returning my calls to over repair costs and job work to be done. Now 10/3/25, i have emialed them for a reapinting for 2026 summer since August, still NO ONE has responded to me. Very poor communication methods they have, of Emails only. Renukrete improperly installed their product in March 2018. Within two months of installation, May 2018, we experienced breaking and cracking of their material that replaced our pool deck. Additionally, Renukrete damaged pool tile during installation that we found when we removed the pool cover in May 2018. Renukrete repaired both items. Then, one year from original installation, March 2019, as we went through the winter months into spring, there was significant cracking, breaking and separating of their material for both our pool deck and front walk way. Renukrete came, after disputing who was responsible for the repair, and spent at least 3 full days repairing the damaged work at no cost. In March 2020, we again experience cracking, breaking and separating of their material in the previously damaged areas and new areas. Once again, Renukrete denied responsibility this time offering either 50% off labor costs or a touch up kit. There has been constant failure of the material. Renukrete alleges that it's due to shifting/settling earth. Our house is 17+ years old and most if not all shifting/settling has likely occurred. Additionally, Renukrete's owner, Alex Lorenz, inspected our property and sold us the work himself - Alex was well aware of the property's characteristics and at no time commented that there would be any potential issue related to shifting/settling earth. It's been a bad experience with Renukrete. It's poor customer engagement as we have to push them to engage and their shifting of responsibility, for their faulty product and installation, ought not absolve them for inadequate work. We have attempted to engage constructively and are left with few options (customer complaints and potential litigation) as the recurring defects require resolution. read more

We have received many compliments, including our pool guy who said, "Wow, this is a great idea!" This is tough because the company does beau work the issue is I found some wrong after the job was done and I signed off on it and they refuse to take ownership of the issues. I have asked for the owner to call me back and has never called back but was willing to come to my house to get the job. They have lost out on two jobs because of this. We contracted with Renukrete of Bridgewater, N.J. to reface our pool deck. The cost was $20,700.00. Part of the work entailed lifting two slabs of the concrete patio that had sunk slightly over the 21 years we have had the pool. That part of the job was $3,200.00. The job started on May 10, 2021 and was completed on May 12th. Within a couple hours of starting, they called us outside and they had lifted the slabs and said that everything looked good underneath. We don't know the exact process but they apparently sprayed some sort of foam that hardened underneath the slabs to hold them in place. Within days of completion we noticed cracks starting to form through a slab that had been lifted. The cracks got larger and the slab has sunk back to where it had been. We notified Renukrete and since our first notice the cracks have continued to get worse. While we had Email exchanges with Renukrete, they have never called us when we have asked and refuse to address the problem. We have repeatedly asked that they come and take a look at it, to no avail. They have a customer service department apparently, but it is a farce. They also left the job with pieces of concrete and other debris throughout our yard, and their equipment left oil stains on our pavers. Instead of having a beautiful looking patio like the other reviews rave about, we have an unsightly cracking mess. read more

Our home has a 1000 square foot concrete patio that was installed by its original owners, guessing over 50 years ago.
