Renukrete improperly installed their product in March 2018. Within two months of installation, May 2018, we experienced breaking and cracking of their material that replaced our pool deck. Additionally, Renukrete damaged pool tile during installation that we found when we removed the pool cover in May 2018. Renukrete repaired both items. Then, one year from original installation, March 2019, as we went through the winter months into spring, there was significant cracking, breaking and separating of their material for both our pool deck and front walk way. Renukrete came, after disputing who was responsible for the repair, and spent at least 3 full days repairing the damaged work at no cost. In March 2020, we again experience cracking, breaking and separating of their material in the previously damaged areas and new areas. Once again, Renukrete denied responsibility this time offering either 50% off labor costs or a touch up kit. There has been constant failure of the material. Renukrete alleges that it's due to shifting/settling earth. Our house is 17+ years old and most if not all shifting/settling has likely occurred. Additionally, Renukrete's owner, Alex Lorenz, inspected our property and sold us the work himself - Alex was well aware of the property's characteristics and at no time commented that there would be any potential issue related to shifting/settling earth. It's been a bad experience with Renukrete. It's poor customer engagement as we have to push them to engage and their shifting of responsibility, for their faulty product and installation, ought not absolve them for inadequate work. We have attempted to engage constructively and are left with few options (customer complaints and potential litigation) as the recurring defects require resolution.

This was the biggest construction project we've ever done - and it was the smoothest experience…read more From the start Chris, the owner, gave us the most realistic overview of the timeline and total costs - without selling it or sugar coating, so we were going in totally prepared, no surprises. He wasn't kidding when he said we had to start permitting process in summer 2025 to open in time for Memorial Day weekend 2026 either - getting construction permit processed was the biggest wait. Now we opened just in time for summer - and she's a beauty! Pool Boss team coordinated the whole project from start to finish - the designer Michael helped us get the plans and measurements exactly right, even taking into consideration our future addition plans for the property. Tina filed and coordinated a million permit forms for us. Matt & Dan were very patient helping us figure out the on-sight restrictions. The construction itself was very quick and fun to watch (the digging was done with surgical precision!). Special thank you to Joanna for very clear communication throughout! The scheduling and ongoing notifications to keep us apprised of the progress were very helpful! We went with PB's recommended contractors - JBJ for electric (super professional - and again, helped us run everything with future construction projects in mind), and United Stamped Concrete for landscaping (Felipe's team did a phenomenal job with out stamped concrete patio and grading, great attention to detail). The orientation with Eduardo was super clear - we've never operated a pool and he patiently explained every single detail about the equipment and maintenance. The equipment can be controlled from an app too - very convenient and we are looking forward to Tyler making it even smarter. :) Thank you so much! It was a very big (HUGE) decision for us - but we are so happy we trusted you. Our three kids are having the time of their life - this pool brings us so much joy already!! P.S. We went for the Crystal Quartz liner - so pretty, as if you you're in the South of France!!!

I called S&R to see if they can help. Tony their service manager came the next day. When I met him I immediately knew the experience would be different. He was very confident and knowledgeable, he checked all the lines and firmed the lines were not leaking BUT then he did something the other two companies did not do, he listened to me when I was explaining my experience with the leak. He asked me to get some food dye, poured it into the pool by the skimmers and found the leak. I highly recommend S&R pools and especially Tony!!

One of the worst pool service companies around in central jersey. I read many reviews in multiple…read moreforums and similar feedback on Kevin, and S&R. My BIGGEST mistake that i am reading all this after getting cheated. PLEASE don't hire them. I got my heater and pump replaced less than a year, spent more than 8k last year and now pump got leaks because of poor cheap work done in putting the pipes connecting with filter and skimmers. They now disown fixing it without additional charge for which he already got paid in full. multiple reasons given to me you should know .. 1st he says let the pump leak for 10 days and it will fix automatically :), then when I let that happen and it still didn't stopped leaking magically, his first question was are you a weekly service customer, or did you open the pool with us??.. if not then we will not take care of mess we created without taking more money. Kevin thinks he is the smartest person.. I see him in many forums acknowledging only good feedback and disowns or finds fault with customer in case of negative feedback.. he is going to do same here. Please stay away from him.. let him live in his self-obsessed world. Only solace I have is that I dont have to deal with these guys anymore.
