Dr. Xu's assistant took an x-ray and he diagnosed the issue, prescribing medication until I can take the next steps. He tries to come across as direct and humorous, but I found the approach unprofessional and uncomfortable. He also seemed more interested in making conversation about my workplace and stocks rather than focusing on the appointment. My main concern, however, was his treatment plan. He recommended a crown for one of my front teeth--an issue another dentist later resolved by simply shaving the tooth slightly, which took only a few minutes and required zero crowns. Dr. Xu also recommended a total of six crowns, which immediately felt like a red flag, especially when he described front-tooth crowns as "jarring" and asked that I pay the full cost of all six upfront in case insurance didn't cover it. My new dentist emphasized preserving natural tooth structure, and that approach fully resolved my problem. Based on my experience, Dr. Xu's recommendations did not align with that philosophy. While I can't speak for the entire office, this encounter left me with concerns about overtreatment. Experiences like this contribute to distrust in dental care--especially in communities already hesitant to seek treatment.

I was immediately greeted upon walking in and the space is absolutely gorgeous and welcoming. When I was taken to the dentist chair, the screens had my name on there to welcome me. This personal touch is above and beyond and reminded me of how the TV screens look when you check-in to a nice hotel. They have state of the art technology so I was able to get my teeth scanned at a 360 machine and their x-rays can detect cavities or spots that should be monitored. My dentist and technician were both super patient with me and super gentle. I definitely got babied and pampered during my time here. When my cleaning was finished, I was offered a scented cloth to wipe my face/mouth! Also, if you come earlier or have the time to stay later, they have a massage chair that you're welcome to use to really add to the dental spa experience! When it comes to small business these folks are the heart of it. It's so nice to see that these folks aren't tied to a bigger corporation or conglomerate. They're just people who understand how to treat people. I think it speaks heavily to their character and their priorities. Dr. S is incredibly personable and has such a bright attitude. It always lights up my day when I see him. He's always open to educating his patients and makes sure they understand what's going on. I never feel lost or anxious with his answers to my questions, and it's so nice to see someone who can meet you at your level. If you're searching for a family dentist and you don't know who to trust, these folks are your answer. I've never in my life been given noise canceling headphones and been able to watch Netflix at any other dental office in my entire life!!! That attention to detail is NOT common. And it obviously shows through their work too. I've been going here for a while and I can honestly say that I've always felt like I could trust them to find an answer to the pain, grinding of my teeth, or whatever it is. Honestly, I'm shocked they're not booked full all the time. I guess it's only a matter of time before people realize how good it is there. While searching for someone in-network with my insurance, I came across Dr. Hur--and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I went in for my consultation, I felt completely comfortable. Dr. Hur took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, and the best part was that he explained I didn't need jaw surgery at all--he could correct everything with implants. That alone was a huge relief. Dr. Hur and his entire staff walked me through every step of the process. On the day of surgery, they once again made sure I knew exactly what to expect and kept me at ease. After the procedure, Dr. Hur personally went out to the waiting room, sat down with my wife, and explained everything in detail. He never rushed and truly took his time, which meant a lot to us. The next day, he even reached out to check on how I was doing. His bedside manner is phenomenal. He gave me his personal cell phone number and told me not to hesitate to reach out with any questions. About a week later, the antibiotics started to get to me, which I expected. I sent him a text during normal business hours thinking I'd hear back later--but he called me almost immediately. That level of responsiveness is rare and honestly blew me away. I've been back a few times for follow-ups, and every visit has been the same--professional, friendly, and thorough.
