He came at the appointed time, sized up my bag of laundry, gave me a price for it, and told me that he will deliver our clean clothes the next day. The price he quoted me was very reasonable (£15) considering he picked up and dropped off our clothes at the hotel. The next day, our clean clothes were waiting for us at the reception office when we came back in the afternoon after a morning of sightseeing. How much more convenient can that be? I returned a couple days later with my husband and about two loads of laundry. Another man, possibly the father of the first man I spoke to, was in the launderette, and I told him I wanted to do the self-service. He was so incredibly patient with me - he showed me how to use the washers, made change for us, and even helped me figure out how many clothes to put in each washer. I felt so comfortable knowing he was there watching everything that my husband and I just went around the corner to Half Cup and had a wonderful breakfast while the clothes were washing. It took 30 minutes to wash, and I went around the corner to put them in the dryer at that time then returned to Half Cup to finish my meal. Drying took about 40 minutes - I dried both loads in one dryer. It came to 16 pounds for two loads (wash and dry). I highly recommend this place!! The location was perfect because it's so close to Kings Cross. We were able to get everything washed, have breakfast, and make it to our train with no problem at all! They have large and medium washing machines. 5 and 4 Pounds respectively. Dryers are 1 Pound for 15 minutes. Washing cycle is 30 minutes. The lady working there was very helpful. Bring Cash and she will exchange it for 1 Pound coins. 6 pairs of Jeans took 45 minutes to dry. Hope this helps. Very safe area. Cafe across the street with coffee and pastries.
