after my kids broke my dads ipad screen, i felt the need to find him a fast and affordable repair shop. thanks to yelp we found repair to fix and its right down the street. my dad called and spoke to justin and was told to just drop in. he took the ipad that same day, and it was promised within a few hours, same day service! he picked up later that afternoon and it was fixed to perfection for a super great price and he even added in a screen protector for a small price. these guys were great. super young, friendly, and helpful. they know their stuff and are running a great business. hopefully we wont be back, but in the event of another disaster with the grandkids, we know where to go!! read more

I had multiple phones fixed in this location. Our iphone x screen was replaced. Paid $160 with taxes. Phone screen broke after a small drop with an otterbox defender case. Took the phone back and paid another $160 for another replacement. I was assured that the best quality screens were being used. A week later after a 2 foot drop the screen is again damaged. Upon searching online I found that most places use Hard OLED's as opposed to the Soft OEM OLED's because of reduced cost. The HARD OLED's are not flexible and are prone to breaking. Soft OLED's are flexible, hence why Apple uses them as OEM parts. When we went back we were told that another repair would be another $160. They confirmed that the HARD OLED's were being used. They refused to offer any reimbursement or discounted repair and argued that their Hard OLED's are better than the soft OEM screen. Very disappointed with materials used and more so, customer service. Wont be going back. Conclusion, ask if the SOFT OEM OLED is available wherever you go and stay away from dishonest repair shops like these. References below for those interested in the difference between Hard and Soft OLED's. They can claim all they want the Hard OLED's are better, but this is completely false. They are freaking amazing and HONEST!!! I went to fix my screen and luckily it was the tempered glass protector that I had put as per their recommendation two years ago that had broken. If I could put half a star, I would. I got my iphone screen repaired in this place while I was in Miami and when i picked it up my touch id setting was NOT WORKING. I came back for them to fix it, told me to reset my phone.. WRONG. DONT COME TO THIS CHEAP PLACE. CHEAP QUALITY, CRAPPY SERVICE. I brought my iPhone 7 here because my screen had shattered badly a while ago and was really impressed with the results, they were very polite and quick. However, I'm not at all impressed with the quality of their products and that's why I'm giving them 2 stars. Soon after getting my screen replaced, I swear I barely dropped it and the screen instantly cracked (with a case). Having an iPhone 7 for 2 years, my screen did not crack after many ACTUAL hard falls but this screen cracks instantly over the smallest thing? It's just fishy and disappointing to me. Please be aware this review is for iPads. (They actually do excellent work with iPhones, but just iPhones.)They held on to my iPad for 6-7 weeks WITHOUT ONE SINGLE PHONE CALL to me to tell me what's going on. I always had to call and be on top of them to see the status of it and I would get different stories each times. My device was unrepairable, which is fine I understand what I don't understand is the lack of communication and inconsideration of customer's time. If I never would have called to find out the status and push them on it,I'm positive my iPad would have been there for months and months easily. Funny thing is, it's my fault because I brought them an iPad mini 2 years ago and they had it for 2 months, same treatment I got this time around, I figured I'd give them another try. I cracked my iPad screen. Driving to Apple store in Dadeland to pay the $299 to fix it I was on the phone with a friend who said , "don't be dumb and pay that much, there's a place right on 87th that fixes it for $100". The screen was shattered and the corner where it cracked was bent inward. The iPad itself worked perfectly and it had no other nicks, dents, or scratches. I went by the store and the employee was courteous and reassured me they could repair it. As for the bent corner, they would use pliers to straighten it back to shape. I was relieved and appreciative. It would be ready tomorrow. I picked it up. Three sides of the iPad corners had been shaved, one completely shaved off, "to relieve pressure from the screen", I was not happy with how it looked because I had been explicitly told it would be bent back to shape. Not shaved off. What could I do at that time? Nothing. It was done and as long as it worked I told myself, what's the big deal. I took it home without checking it. When I used it for the first time, screens started opening randomly over and over, I would open an app and another would open. The screen was coming unglued on the corner that had been completely shaved off! It had nothing to keep it in place. I called , store said you have 90 days to bring it back. Within the week, I did. At store explained issue, they said no problem, maybe a defective screen? I was relieved. Time for pickup. "You'll have to wait for it to charge to see if we fixed it because the tech didn't' leave any notes on the order and I'm not sure" next in line. Better yet, "I'll just put on another screen since I don't know what they did" I was like what? That's when his courtesy went out the door and he said "well, it was you that cracked the screen and I'm just trying to fix it. Other stores wouldn't even try". Who says that? I know I cracked it. That is why I took it to a repair shop. Bottom line, he replaced the screen yet again. Uncharged, I could not try it in store. When home, corner unglued and coming up again, screen's brightness I can't adjust properly, and screens open randomly. I'm not taking it back. But if I can save someone else from this, I will. I saw yet another groupon for this place, please do not fall for the deal. I took my iPad to this place on their last groupon deal and they are horrible, they ruined the home button on my iPad as well as causing more damage to the back casing... I didn't complain because honestly I was already so disappointed in myself for having dropped it and felt like it wouldn't be the same after being repaired. All this might describe a 3 star rating, honestly I would give them zero for what I found out later of what they did. Anyways my iPad cracked again! Apparently there was a piece that holds the screen lush to the metal that was chipped off so when pressure is applied the screen will crack. I didn't know this when I took it in but obviously I took it to another place, a booth at the mall, I was actually able to stay there and watch them fix it.. When they opened my iPad there were screws missing and the home button was being held with scotch tape. The guy looked at me and asked me if I had tried to fix it myself previously and I told him no, I took it to "repair 2 fix". Stay away! Let me start off by saying that I have a bad habbit of cracking my phone screen and I do so very often. I have been to several phone repair shops so I can honestly tell you this place is pretty good. I bought a groupon and it came out cheap compared to any other place in town. The staff is young but respectful and they have quick service my phone was repaired within an hour on a saturday which I would assume to be a busy day. I would have given them another star but after a day I realized that my touch screen was not working properly and that the screen was coming off a bit. I called and notified them of the problem and they did replace it but I am a firm believer in getting things done the right way the first time. Took in my Samsung to fix broken screen. I was a 1st time customer. Please keep in mind this is not a negative review. Several things did not go as planned in which some issue was not in their control. Ornell (I hope I spelled it right) did keep in constant contact with me. Now you bring in you tablets and phones with only a cracked screen and they mess it up more then it was before and want to charge you for them messing it up. EVERYTHING IS GLITCHING.
