When the snow melted, we quickly realized the backyard was a nightmare. We hired Manuel's crew to come out and get rid of a bunch of the weeds, move perennials around. They also brought two truckloads of dirt and mulch to do around the swingset and trees and sod for a large portion of the yard that was missing grass. They went above and beyond my expectations and even came back to cut the sod for the first time. They set up sprinklers and timers so that I wouldn't have to worry about keeping the sod alive. The crew was SOOO helpful and friendly. We have actually hired them back to install new shutters and various other jobs. They had a crew of 7 guys come in and do the entire yard in one day. I wish I could post photos to show you how great of a job they did! I will continue to use them for all of our handyman jobs around the house. I realize that it is only an estimate, but I would think that anyone that has been in business that long could give a better estmate than that. the work was good, but it was supposed to be good. the plumber, dave, was on time, but he was supposed to be on time. when I told dave that the estimate that they gave me was $450.00 he said I didn't tell you that. it was rob that told you that. is that the way they operate? Called for a simple leaking drain in my tub, took two visits and this company still couldn't figure…read moreout the simple problem (misaligned rubber O ring on tub drain). Plumber did not inspect the pipes, use a snake camera, or take anything apart on either visit. Visit #1: Showed the plumber the source of the dripping by turning the shower water on. Plumber was convinced it was a loose faucet, so he put caulk around the seal and told me not to use the tub/shower for a day. This obviously didn't work. Visit #2: Leaking persisted the next day when testing the water. Plumber came out, but I was unable to make the drips occur (although there was water on the floor of the basement and in a bucket). Plumber said there is nothing he could do - Did not inspect or diagnose anything. Called another plumber and it was a misaligned rubber O ring on the tub drain (new construction home). Five Star Plumbing left me with no real work done and black fingerprints all along my hallway and bathroom walls.

They listen carefully to what you need, are willing to work with you, answer calls/appointments perfectly, and are always nice and fair. And don't forget the great job done! I was contesting the charge for a box that was not labeled for had a permit pulled from ACE Electric. Rewired came out - looked at the box and determined it was illegal and. And produced a bid of over $5000 - to over $6000. No where in the est did they say the words that my box was illegal. By omitting the words "illegal" I had no way to recover the cost I already paid. The omission was intentional and guaranteed that Rewired would not be considered. He could of just said when he was here "not interested. Winnegabo County refused to check any box when a permit was not pulled - this leaves me in a precarious position.

However a second opinion on the problem says long term fix is to repour the entire patio. Lack of knowledge, experience, accountability and skills to do what we wanted, but was not forthcoming about any of that and we were eventually told it was our fault "I just do what the customer asks", and "I used a shotty product that we don't like and have never used". It got worse the more repairs were attempted. Original look was supposed to be a two-toned stamped concrete; as it stands today it is inconsistent coloring, stamping, brush/swirl marks in different spots, and a lot of flaking and efflorescence (9 mo in). Blisters exist that pop and snap when walked on. Grass was ruined in a large areas for the entire summer too from their stamping templates and not putting plywood down when driving the bobcat around the house. Lawn still recovering in spots. I spent $ on lots of seed. No apologies once, ever, or offers to brainstorm on how to make things right. Told us he was done and offered nothing. ~7-8K spent, and we're left holding the bag to a large expensive problem. Make your own decision based on the review and the pictures. Hopefully in a couple of years they will obtain the experience and skills needed to produce better outcomes on more complex projects. We hope they do and this review can be used to help them hear the feedback and make improvements.
