I had to put it in all special positions just to have it catch a charge. Today I was out of sorts since it was completely dead. I knew it was not the battery. It was the charging port. No charging cord worked for it even though it worked on my hubby's phone. I did some research on cell phone repair in the area and this one stuck out to me the most. Gizmo Pros definitely lived up to their reviews. I called and the guy who answered was very nice and personable. I let him know the issue and asked him how much it would be to fix. He was very straight forward and helpful and I appreciate that. I set up an appt to come in. He took care of it right away. It took about 30 minutes to fix and there is also a Yelp check in for a free screen saver so he took care of that for me. I am happy that I went to Gizmo Pros. This business is not in a very high traffic area for all. It's in the Meadowpointe neighborhood. But definitely go out of the way for this business. They will be a great help for your cell phone, iPad, and lap top repair. They also have cell phone accessories and phones.

After the replacement, my phone's battery started draining much faster. I went back and paid extra to upgrade to an OLED screen, but that replacement didn't even last a few months before the display started failing. Eventually, the screen went completely black. When I returned to have it checked, I was told there was nothing they could do because the warranty had expired. No solutions were offered or help. I had to beg for the gentleman to open it up to at least take a look if anything was loose. Just a suggestion to pay for another new screen and "see what happens." Overall, very disappointing experience and quality of parts.

After we picked up the iPhone, we noticed the screen was elevated and could be pushed down repeatedly. My wife's Face ID was also not working. When we took the phone back, the guy at the front stated "I know the Face ID wasn't going to work because we didn't put in an expensive glass". We told him the website claims quality parts that will ensure the phone functions as it should. He said if we wanted to, we could pay him an additional $60 for a better screen that would allow Face ID. We told him that it's on him to fix it properly or give us a refund. He refused Update on 5-3-2025 - Owner called me and did ask about what he could do. When I told him that he should have honored what was advertised he said there is no way to fix Face ID and if I could find any one that could fix it, he would give me my money back. When I quoted back to him his company policy about quality parts, he kept speaking over me. When I was finally able to repeat to him his policy on quality parts, I told him maybe he should change the wording to specifically identify issues that can't be fixed. He stated I was trying to squeeze him for money to which I told him no I just wanted you to provide the service your website states you do. By that point, they had forgotten that they even had my computer. They said that they would "repair it as soon as we brought it in" when they had it the whole time. Then, lines appeared on the screen within 3 weeks of getting the computer back. They refused to fix it, claiming that we broke the computer. They then sent it to the part vendor and, a month later, called me to say that the vendor wouldn't replace the faulty part. I paid them to fix my computer and 4 months later I still don't have a usable computer and they refuse to make it right. Avoid at all costs.

Sometimes the top left hand corner would not exit from a site. The screen was still under warranty so my wife and I came in on Monday, November 21st. We explained what was going on to the sales rep and told him it was random. My wife managed to prove it to him. He explained it was because of the way my wife touched the X on the site. But the same thing happened to him. I told him, "See, it's also happening when you touch it." He denied it by saying the screen didn't respond because he didn't tap on the X, just next to it. HOWEVER, I called him on this several times after trying to close the link. He tried blaming it on Apple as a software problem and refused to help us even though Apple stated it was a display issue. It really upset me to feel this young man talking with a sarcastic tone to us and then trying to lecture with his explanation of how the phone works. This was extremely insulting. We wanted the help and the right to be covered by the warranty but I feel I was scammed instead.
