I'll start off by saying that I'm a return customer. Last year, George replaced an iPhone screen for a great price which I needed for a trade in and it was flawless! This year, I came back with a not-so-common Android phone model with a cracked screen that George hasn't worked on before. He warned me about the possiblity of the fingerprint reader not working, which was a risk I accepted. I provided my own screen and George completed the repair in about an hour after diligently answering all my questions (the fingerprint reader did work!). I am beyond satisfied with the work that the owner, George does! I needed a hardware fix for an iPhone rear view camera as I accidentally dropped my phone on the ground and the camera and flashlight weren't functioning. I was looking at multiple other businesses, but the price here couldn't be beat. I called and left him a message asking for a quote on the repair I needed and he responded quickly via text. Next, he called me back shortly to inform me that he has the parts I needed at his shop after checking his inventory. He offered to do the repair at a lower price he initially gave me since he just wanted to sell it and didn't have a need to order another part. I was sold! When arriving and entering his shop, he was very welcoming and kindly told me that I could wait while watching TV or even play the Xbox, which was really fun and entertaining. He has hand sanitizer readily available in the entertainment area to ensure everyone remains safe and clean. While George was fixing my phone, he was conveniently out in the open and his work table is placed outside in the common room so you know exactly what he's doing with your device. He even talked through some of the repair process and let me observe his work a little bit. It was pretty neat to see the little details of my device while learning how it works. The repair itself took no more than 15-20 minutes, it was so quick and everything was good as new. Was skeptical that this place only has 5-star reviews, but after getting my screen replaced today I understand why! I was a little sketched out by the location - it's in an almost completely unmarked building with the blinds drawn and an open sign. I snapchatted my location just in case. BUT, upon entering, George was super friendly and full disclosure about prices and work done. I sat and watched Real Housewives in the waiting area for the short 20 minutes it took for him to fix my screen. He didn't just stop at fixing my screen, though; he also quality checked my phone and noticed the sensor that tells the phone to turn off when you put it up to your face (I'm clearly not familiar with phone jargon) was not working, which was true. He checked to see if it was the sensor or the light filter and, turns out, it's the sensor. He is ordering the part for me and I am coming back later in the week to get it fixed. I didn't even come in for that, so this is amazing! If you go anywhere else, you're seriously missing out. This is a LOCAL business, AFFORDABLE, and FULL DISCLOSURE. Saw the price and was so excited to have my screen fixed here. I went into the shop and it took about 1 hour to fix the phone. Cool inside! However, later on after examining my phone screen I noticed two mini scratches in the screen. Normally I wouldn't bother complain, however I paid for my screen fixed so I would like it fixed properly. I contacted them and he came to my school and told me he was going to fix it. (Great customer service). About an hour later, he brought it back. I took it and noticed that the screen had a pink tint and wouldn't properly type. I called him back again and he said he would change it again. He took it and about another hour later he brought it back. I checked the phone in front of him to make sure everything was working so that I wouldn't have to call him back again. I tried typing in my password and it wouldn't register, he tried and it still wouldn't work. He said he had no more screens with him in the moment, that I should bring my phone into the shop to get another screen. However this was inconvenient as I go to University of Tampa, which is far from the shop and don't have a car so the $45 uber ride there and back is not an option for me. I asked him to put back the screen that had the small scratches but to give me a refund. He did just that, and my phone has been working fine ever since until two days ago. My phone stopped charging, and I cannot hear the opposite person on a phone call. Its not my charger because my friends use the it and it works fine on their phones. Now I have to spend another $1000 on a new iPhone 8 Plus because my phone is now damaged. Yes, the price $73 including taxes, is a good reasonable price, but NOT NOW considering the fact that I have to spend 13x that amount buying a new phone. Disappointed. read more
