I called and received an e-mail a few minutes later with Steve's picture so that I would know who was coming to our home. Great safety precautions guys! Steve and Michael came to our home with samples of all the materials they would be using. Repipe definitely uses excellent material, heavy duty shut off valves and Uponor PEX piping. They also explained the process of repiping a house and answered all our questions. We felt the estimate was fair, which included the drywall repair, an extra faucet in my back yard, recessed boxes behind my refrigerator for the ice maker and in the laundry room for the washer. They also brought my water heater up to city code. I explained that I had 2 minor leaks and some rusty water in the front bathroom. My attic had some very tight spaces, and even though it was October it was extremely hot in the attic. They covered the floor with drop cloths and vacuumed up everything before they left. They were professional and respectful of our home. They were very friendly and trustworthy. My son had a tool box on the table and at the end of the day when they were cleaning up they inadvertently picked up his tool case. During their tool count the noticed it and returned my sons tools immediately. Who knows when we would have noticed this? Courtesy plumbing completed everything that was stated in the contract and answered my questions all day. Phillip set up the appointment with the city inspector the next day, and passed with ease. The Sheetrock guys came 2 days later. There were a few minor glitches along the way with the Sheetrock guys, but Daniel saw that they were taken care of immediately. If you are one of the unlucky ones with galvanized pipe in an older home, we had a very positive experience with Repipe Specialists at 11152 Westheimer Road #760. ( 281-594-6061) Steven came to our home which is a story and 1/2 with nightmare plumbing by the original builder and architect. Steven gave us an estimate which was comparable to other estimates. Then, they contracted the actual plumbing to EPW Services LLC. These plumbers were awesome! One had to climb from our stairs into our air dam to connect the new PEX pipe to our upstairs bathroom tub. He deserved extra pay! Another had to correct plumbing for a sink that would have been in front of a window and was rigged over to a wall so the sink could be under the mirror. All four of the men in this crew were so efficient. The first day they pulled all the piping from 8:30am-2:30pm. The second day, they made all the connections from 8:30am-2:00pm including all our outside faucets. The inspector approved all the work on the third day. We had 30 holes cut in the walls from taking the piping up to the attic and back down to our first floor connections. Then a crew of 4 men showed up on the fourth day to sheetrock and texture. These men were amazing! You cannot find a single place where a hole was cut in the sheetrock. They came at 8:30am and they were finished by 1pm. read more

Gosh, after reading some of the reviews I am so happy I belong with the 5 star group. I requested a quote on the website in mid November. I got a call the very next day to set up an appointment. The appointment was set up with Joe, estimator/salesman. Joe called the next day and we had a long discussion of what I needed and how Repipe would handle the process. Joe came by the next day and physically assessed my home and we agreed on the procedure and price. Before leaving my home Joe scheduled the plumbers to start the work. Now for the work. We are very happy with our repipe job. We like it so much we are trying to convince other home owners in our town home community to do the same. We noticed an immediate difference in water pressure and flow. Your plumbers had to remove wood paneling and create openings in the drywall. Your paint and wall repair contractor put everything back together. My husband and I had the paint matched at Home Depot. When the wall repair crew was finished, it was unbelievable how good the walls looked. Our home looked like it had never been touched. I must say the wall paneling looked better than it did before the job started. The contractor applied stain on the wood paneling that had been removed to cover up any scratches. I have a house in Spring Branch west side of Houston, TX and the water was terrible because of the galvanized pipes used during construction in the late 70"s. I contacted Repipe Specialists after hearing on the radio talk show and got an estimated within two days, also got two other estimates but chose to use Repipe . The two plumbers technicians where very knowledgeable , worked quickly, cleaned up during the day room to room and only took two days to complete piping, then the sheet rock guy came in and repaired and retextured the walls. The next day I painted the patch work myself and the job was complete. 4 days. VERY impressed with the service and professional work done ! The guys completed the re-pipe on my home in one day and the sheet rock team was out soon afterwards to complete the work. The repaired sheet rock was so well done and textured, that it was hard to tell there was once a hole there. Excellent work and I would definitely recommend them to others. The whole process from the initial quote to completion was very well coordinated at each step of the process. I'm just sorry that I put up with 6+ leaks after so many years because I dreaded taking on this type project. No question that it is disruptive to your house (especially if you have wallpaper), but the guys put covers over everything to limit the dust flying around. I had a rental property built in the late '70s with galvanized piping that was on its last legs. While nothing had burst, there were a few joints that would leak onto the sheetrock intermittently. The installation crew from Repipe Specialists arrived on time to begin the job of replacing the water pipes in our home. They replaced the piping without any problems, the crew cleaned up as they worked with little damage to the walls. Water service to the house was interrupted for approximately 3 hours and the project was completed as promised. The individual sent to repair the holes in the walls where the pipe was inserted was very good, he patched the holes and after painting the area patched, the walls looks as if nothing had happed. My house is old and several of my neighbors have had leaks. I knew it wouldn't be long and we would have the same problem. I called Repipe because they were recommended by a friend. We purchased a home built in 1958. The water coming out of the faucets was orange from all of the deposits in the galvanized pipes. We needed new plumbing.
