The other 2 OB/GYN within the prior week had no trouble finding ovaries using ultrasound. I would have believed her claims that my ovaries were either too small or nonexistent but luckily I had comparison, so I knew that was incorrect. I expect the doctor treating me to be able to basic ultrasounds, don't think that's too much to ask.

Dr. Kornafel was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. She is competent, empathetic, compassionate, a strong advocate for her patients, and she tells a pretty hilarious joke. I've always felt safe and comfortable in her care knowing she's the best out there. She is incredibly patient and will listen to you, she takes her time at your appointments and doesn't rush through your questions or concerns. I always felt better knowing I wasn't just a number at someone's facility. She takes her job more seriously than anyone I've ever met and I'm pretty sure she'll tell you herself this is her life day in and day out. She has truly been my guardian angel and I knew we would have a successful pregnancy under her care. I am happy to report I am currently 15 weeks pregnant as I write this. Not only is Dr. Kornafel amazing, but so is her incredible staff. Jane, who is the office manager, is the most kind, organized, and caring individual. She answers every question/concern promptly and has excellent communication with her patients. She was also so accommodating and always made sure my appointments didn't interfere with work. You're not going to get another Jane if you go to a big facility, she goes above and beyond to be available for her patients. I'm guilty of texting her on several Saturday nights and she was always ready with a response and never made me feel badly. Emi, one of the incredible nurses who you'll work with, is also kind, compassionate, and incredibly competent at her job. She and Dr. Kornafel work very well together and they make an excellent team. I remember literally shaking from nerves during my transfer and Emi rubbed my hand and reassured me it was going to go well. A week and a half later, I got the best call of my life from Emi telling me I was pregnant. I will never forget that moment and how I felt her celebrate this moment with me. She also came in on a Saturday so that she could be there at my egg retrieval even though she doesn't typically work at Harvest on Saturdays. I was so appreciative that she would rearrange her schedule to come in on a Saturday for me. Lastly, I don't know the embryologist, Van, very well as she started to be there more just before my transfer. But from the few times I've met her I can say she is warm, personable, and from what Dr. Kornafel has told me, a top notch embryologist with extensive experience in the field. I can't thank the amazing team at Harvest Fertility enough for helping give me the best gift in the whole world. I never doubted them and always knew I was getting my baby one way or another.
