This is the way medicine ideally should be practiced: a compassionate and competent friendly staff who attend to your needs quickly, thoroughly. We were able to be seen immediately after having had called, a thorough intake was taken, and Dr. Skinner addressed all issues, clearly explaining what was happening and what would be done to begin remedying out symptoms (Covid for both my husband and myself as well as pneumonia for me). He instilled confidence and trust with his knowledge and ability to start treatments (nebulizer, shot, gargle treatment that simply ended a searing sore throat), explained the medications we would be using, and, not a small thing, provided said medications before leaving the office. Update: In response to the comment from this business, I called more than once after I regained my ability to speak in full sentences, and I asked why I was given medication without my knowledge and I just got a bunch of "I don't knows" and "I don't think they'd do that" even after I was sent a survey regarding my visit, I was asked if I wanted a call back, I said yes and I never received one. So I don't know what speaking to this facility again would do to help me in anyway. I even requested my medical records from this facility, and I was never told that the doctor believed I had a serious condition even though it was entered in my notes. And of course, it ended up being exactly that, but I was never told. I am an adult and I should've been told all of this information and not found out later by reading doctors notes. And I also read in my notes that I left with a 2 out of 10 pain. I never ever told anyone that my pain was below a 10. Their "legal counsel " isn't licensed to practice law in the state of AZ.

I was asked to provide more proof of active insurance, so I showed the lady at the front desk my insurance app which showed clear proof of said insurance. I paid my $10 copay and went on with my day. Last month I got multiple emails and texts stating I had an outstanding bill of $320 dollars. I reached out to Nextcare through their 'contact us' form online. They said they were unable to verify coverage and to call my (now former) insurance provider. I called my former insurance provider and they once again confirmed I had active insurance at the time of service, and also stated that next care hadn't even attempted to bill for the visit. I replied to the first email I got from Nextcare (billingleads) to tell them I did as advised and never got a reply. I've tried calling the billing number and have waited on hold for more than an hour multiple times, with absolutely no answer. They are no longer responding to the 'contact us' online forms and they will not help me at the location. My former insurance provider wants to pay them. They just need to call the provider line I have given them multiple times to get their money. I'm extremely frustrated at this point because they refuse to communicate aside from sending me multiple invoices for money indo no owe them. This is an issue only they can resolve and it's impossible to get ahold of anyone.

I agreed and the EKG was administered. Dr Paris told me the results were "okay" but she said I should go to the emergency room for a complete examination. I was very surprised as I have not experienced any heart attack symptoms, there is no history of heart issues in my family, and I work out regularly, eat healthy food, and am in excellent heath. (The nurse commented on my good health when she gave me the initial screening.) I politely asked Dr. Paris if one of the local NextCare branches could do it, because I had been told by Dr. Bill Straw when I visited this NextCare office last year, Dr. Straw had said that NextCare does have such facilities. Dr. Paris got defensive and said no, they don't. She said Dr Straw hadn't worked at Next Care for years, which was not true unless I had been treated by a ghost last year. I tried to return the conversation to my back but Dr. Paris raised her voice and and said I was risking my life if I didn't go to the emergency room. I asked about my back and what advice she could offer about that. She ignored my question and said I had to go to the emergency room because she didn't want to lose her license if I died. At this point I realized I had wasted my money and time and left with an ailing back.

I make that call based on their app. I set up an appointment and was seen within 5 minutes of that appointment time. When I came, there was only a couple of guys there and they were having a conversation. I think they probably were waiting on a patient. There was a woman and her children that eventually came in, too. So it was not busy. The Nurse Practitioner's name was Debbie and she was cheerful. I liked that. I came in to make sure this cold wasn't turning into a sinus infection. She explained the symptoms of a sinus infection and I could immediately tell I wasn't experiencing one. She also wanted to make sure that I didn't want antibiotics as there was nothing that could be done for a virus. She was pleasant, upbeat, and a good communicator. She also didn't charge me for the visit since there was really nothing that she could do. Bonus! Not sure how an urgent care could get five stars. If I think of a reason, maybe I'll come back and change it to five stars. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. The number rings in California. The people on the phone are nice. They gave me the same deal. They set up an appointment. I did not pay in advance. I couldn't and they said nicely no problem. I got the address to go from my house. Don't do google maps. It had me arrived and I had no clue where it was. So if you are going south on swan. Cross Pima and take the first drive on the right. That will put you in the right area. Drive to the middle of the building, park and either take the elevator up or the stairs to find the suite. Once you find it you will see the door. Walking in you will see a nicely decorated office with a waiting area. (Which is very nice). You will be asked to fill out your paperwork and then pay. The great employee that waited on me and did the procedure was Raja. She was very knowledgeable. Afterwards you go into another office area and discuss what you hope to achieve You then get weighed and measured. After measurement you go into another room lay on the bed snd Raja will hook you up to the machine. Relaxing music is being played you start to warm up from the machine (nut yo warm) and Raja checks in 5 mins if you are ok temperature wise. Then vibes back in 15 mins. (20 mins total). Then you go on the shaker machine for 25 mins. Then get measured again. (She also goes over hydration, BMI, and muscle to fat ratio and how many other sessions you may want to buy). I did lose 2.5 inches total. Not exactly where I really wanted it haha. In all honestly I did but see it feel any different in my clothes. It would be interested to see if more would make a difference. I may try it. I haven't decided yet. Overall I think it was a great experience. The employee was great. What I think they can improve with is get a local number. I feel better dealing local (though they did a great job from California) But the main thing is I didn't know what to expect so it would have been nice when making the appointment whether they could say it's ok to wear lotion or don't where lotion. Makeup or not makeup and fun threw what is going to be done. If you haven't tried this you just might want to.
