When my partner and I moved here with little furniture and a tight budget, we furnished almost our entire place with pieces from TRS at shockingly fair prices. Nearly three years later, everything has held up beautifully. These pieces aren't just furniture, they're treasures, crafted with care by local artisans who repurpose used items instead of letting them go to waste. Knowing we're giving these pieces new life is so special and truly embodies the spirit of this community. We're devastated for TRS after Helene, it's sickening and awful. My kids were doing a bit of shopping and then ended up picking up a couple of items and I spent most of my time chatting with the one woman who worked there. They did enjoy some of the clothing but couldn't find items that they liked in their size but there were some really nice items in the counter that got their attention. They both checked out some really cool necklaces and we also looked at flasks and lighters. My youngest found a hat that they just loved and took a picture of the label on it with the idea that they would check it out online at a later date to see if they might buy one. Friendly employees who were very helpful and lots of good stuff. This one is definitely worth shopping in.

With people entering and exiting the wrong way. At least I have been able to always find a spot. The interior is two levels. One of mostly furniture and some rugs and one with smaller furniture and home decor/ books. The first level has a ton of toilets, desks, tables, chairs etc. always a nice rug collection. The second level has couches and things like dishwater and frames. Surprisingly good collection of affordable books. Had I more time I'd stay longer. And if they had more games and clothes I'd pick it over goodwill just due to the price, quality, organization, and staff. They are serious about the 6 pm closing tho. Well To them; it's 5:30-5:45. I was told to call three days before pickup so they would know what I had. When I called they said they would have to reschedule because it wouldn't all fit. They set the new appt on Friday instead of Wednesday. On Tuesday afternoon they called and confirmed for Wednesday. I told them they rescheduled for Friday. I was told they set me up for 2 appointments. So when they came Wednesday only half my stuff got taken. They drivers were very nice. When I called twice to confirm my Friday appt. They never returned my call nor did they show up on Friday. My donations will go someplace else in the future. If a mistake was made admit it. But ghosting a loyal customer is absolutely not the way to do business.

Hence, the two stars. But 2) be prepared to be treated like you smell bad, or are bad, or are just generally in the staff's way. (Not all of them, but def the majority) Hence, only two stars. I've bought something every single time I go in, so it's not like there's any reason at all for me to have to field this. I wear deodorant and normal clothing, I have no small children in tow, no dog in arms, nothing. It's inexplicable, but I could set my watch by it. If you'd like to find some pretty, often unusual, (though admittedly sometimes overpriced) things, go here! Just make sure you get something cool enough to wash the taste of the customer service interactions away when you look at it later -- because when you leave you're likely to feel like you just drove through Taco Bell on Poplar in Memphis at 2 am. Pretty sure that's where they found their customer service manual. If you make it past the front desk without turning into a shriveled block of ice, don't miss the fabulous large COVET booth just inside the first display area. That booth in particular has amazing finds at fair prices.

Unfortunately, late in 2017, the store was closed for remodeling, and when they re-opened, I was stunned to see that virtually nothing had changed with regard to the interior. Clothing racks were moved, and that was about the extent of the retail overhaul. Most unfortunately, the prices went up. WAY UP! I guess the only remodeling was to their price tags? When you visit a thrift store, you are being thrifty - bargain hunting. This store now asks upscale consignment prices for donated items, and that sucked the fun out of thrifting at this location, for me.

Kudos! The aisles are lined with quality clothes. No rips or stains. They have many name brands and it all seems to be priced very well. Tons of shoes and accessories as well (ex- purses). They have a few sections for local goods as well. You can find great gifts here for anyone on your list. I noticed everything from beard balm to pottery. Seems they take the go local card so I'll have to check out what that means. :)
