Whereas many of the stores are full of souvenirs, Humanite sells fashionable clothing and accessories that are on trend but also classy. They also have lots of fun gift-y items. The store has pretty displays so aside from perusing the merchandise it was fun to see how they had everything styled. Upon entering from the quaint screen door it was a really nice visit and I can see how ladies of all ages would find something special here to take home with them. It is really messed up. That being said, Torrid is a small store in the Asheville mall that has really fun, stylish, fashionable clothing. Every time I've been into Torrid in Asheville, the staff is super friendly and helpful. They're always happy to chat and help finding proper fitting clothes. I love that when you start grabbing clothes that you're interested in, they will put it a dressing room for you and write your name. That always makes me feel taken care of (even if it's just their policy, haha). My only complaint about Torrid is that it is a bit overpriced. I can't really afford to shop here. Unfortunately there isn't much competition when it comes to plus-size clothing, so they can mark things up. They sell clothing that is very well-made and nice cuts that are made for curvy bodies.
