Rescue Plumbers - Simply the Best in the High Desert I can honestly say Rescue Plumbers has earned my trust for life. First, a little background: I own two homes in Hesperia, and lucky me--both water heaters failed around the same time. I called several plumbing companies for estimates, but Rescue Plumbers stood out immediately. They were the first to respond, provided the most reasonable and honest estimate, and were incredibly professional from the very first call. We scheduled the first water heater replacement, and during the job they discovered mold--yikes. While mold removal wasn't something they handled themselves, they immediately recommended a company that could, and that referral worked out perfectly. Once the mold issue was resolved, Rescue Plumbers came right back and completed the water heater installation without missing a beat. Of course, as fate would have it, the water heater at my second home stopped working shortly after. I called Rescue Plumbers again, and they came out the same day, sent a clear estimate, and had my hot water back up and running quickly and smoothly. No stress, no problems--just solid, reliable work. Later that same year, I noticed water coming up through the floor of my master bathroom. I called Rescue Plumbers again, and once more they responded right away. They discovered I had a slab leak, something I had never even heard of before. Joe patiently explained everything and walked me through my options--even though, frankly, none of them were very appealing. The choices were limited, and I ultimately decided on a full repipe rather than jackhammering my concrete slab (which was absolutely not happening). Joe and the entire team were incredibly understanding. They knew this was a major job, a big inconvenience, and frankly pretty overwhelming. Even though it looked like the house was going to be destroyed, the crew was calm, steady, respectful, and organized the entire time. To my amazement, they handled it all in just a few days, and we were back to normal quickly. They even went above and beyond, doing extra things they didn't have to--and the results were fantastic. I ended up with better water pressure throughout the house, including sinks and toilets. Since then, they've also: * Fixed leaky outdoor faucets * Repaired my water pressure regulator * Replaced toilets Every single visit has been consistent: They show up on time, are always clean and well-dressed, and communicate clearly by calling or texting when they're on the way. The crew is professional, friendly, and yes--I'll say it--they even smell good, which says a lot about their attention to detail. Joe, the main plumber I worked with, is knowledgeable, patient, and trustworthy. Michelle in the office is also wonderful--kind, helpful, and on top of everything. Even when a larger crew came out, the whole process was calm, smooth, and well coordinated. In my God-honest opinion, there is no other plumber in the High Desert that compares to Rescue Plumbers. I called Michelle about a TMP valve their plumber installed a few days earlier. She is a fabulous lady who is competent, an excellent communicator & has a wonderful capacity for getting things done. She mentioned Joe would be out between 1p & 3p, which was fine. He arrived and I explained that the new valve he installed stuck out farther than the old one. Plus it bowed-out the drain pipe to which it was installed. It destroyed both the aesthetics and symmetry of the original setup. Joe was not concerned about any of that but did submit that "he was the best there is, & he guaranteed it." He was getting a bit testy & I could see that further conversation would be useless. The discussion was terminated. I'm sure you can see what's coming. I'll probably have to hire & pay a new plumber to correct this situation. In the below pics you can see how nicely the original TMP valve and drain pipe line-up. The next two illumine the new install. The valve (not the correct one) & drain pipe stick out from the water heater - ouch, not attractive or symmetrical. I next heard from Victor, the owner, and he was just as adamant as his employee. Even though the work is 100% guaranteed neither party wanted to do anything to resolve this issue. Thankfully, the California Small Claims Court is still a dependable source for seeking remedy. Roots got into the sewer line and caused a clog. Rescue Plumbers came the next day (a Saturday) and cleared the line and gave us the camera view of the line at a discount. We hired them for the repair as well. Joe is very competent and polite, and they even replaced the decorative rock when finished. They also communicated well about when they would arrive. This rating is based on the three times called over a three month period. Rescue Plumbers Inc CA response time was reasonably within one hour or less to arrive at our home in Apple Valley. Joe really tried to correct our problem. First called Rescue Plumbers on April 6, 2021, because we had some water backing up in the kitchen sink. They snaked the pipe in the kitchen and it cleared the drain for $170. Second time called Rescue Plumbers again on May 19, 2021, because we had another back up in the kitchen sink. They snaked it once more and charged us $169. On 6/4/2021, our hallway bathroom toilet exploded and overflowed backing up into our bathtub and spilling sewage water over the entire bathroom floor, hallway floor, and down into our master bedroom and master closet. Joe called Elementum restoration services. Joe continued to snake both the front and rear drain lines to try to clear blockage for another $395, while the Elementum guys were here and I was on the phone speaking to our insurance company. I guess I wondered why didn't they attempt to snake both rear and front lines the second time they were here in May? One more thing, Rescue Plumbers DO NOT GUARNTEE THEIR WORK! What can I say Rescue Plumbers can really save the day. Not only do they have affordable prices, they are poffesionals, courteous and punctual. I don't usually write reviews But I want to say that I couldn't be happier that I decided to go with Joe and Rescue Plumbers. I had an emergency that left my wife and two kids without working/draining bathtubs. I called a few places to see who could come take a look, and being that it was late on Friday afternoon, not too many people were available. When I talked to Rescue Plumbers they said they could be at my house in 45 minutes. Joe showed up to my house sooner than I expected and was extremely professional and treated my home with extra care. He told me what I was looking at as far as my issue was and was spot on so I asked if they could come back in the morning to do the work. Joe told me what time he'd be back and not only was he on time but showed up a little early to prep his work as well. Joe knows what he's doing and his work clearly shows it. Everything was done with detail from the laying down of the tarps in my hall ways, breaking concrete to get underneath my tub, to the tunnel he had to dig under my house. Joe put in hours of HARD work at my house and everything is working perfectly again. He even took care of putting in my matching tiles I had since concrete had to be removed in one bathroom. By the time he left you couldn't even tell there was work done because everything was put back the way it was found. Well... they didn't leave a mess or scratch my floors or my appliance so they get a couple of stars. This is the contractor my Palmdale Lowe's uses to install dishwashers & I can't figure out why! There's the obvious distance factor - they're at least an hour away on a good day with no traffic, and they're only in this area two days/week so imagine the wait time. But not knowing that at the time, I paid $115 for professional installation to be sure it was done right. It wasn't. So they wanted me to wait another week and take additional time off work for them to come fix it! For the sake of good customer service, since they screwed it up, wouldn't you think they'd be somewhat apologetic & offer an exception? Nope! No reaction at all, just blandly gave me the "next available" in my area. It was like pulling teeth to get their "office manager" to add me onto the end of a scheduled shift so I wouldn't have to wait longer AND miss work! On the bright side... Lowe's couldn't apologize enough and was extremely polite and helpful, even checking back to see that the job was done right. My father in law's main line was blocked up, and wasn't draining. We tried the snake thing ourselves, but the problem persisted. Victor came out and explained what was more than likely the problem, tree roots. They gave him a fair estimate, and said he would try and have the work done as soon as possible. They cut through two sections of cement slab, and dug down deep to find just what he said. An entire tree root was blocking the main line! Not only were they guys professional, but fast. They had the house service done in one day, and came back the next day to fill it all in. You can't believe how much you need to flush, till you really need to. Thanks guys. Rescue plumbers are the best! I had an emergency with a water line that broke and unfortunately the mobile home park we lived at never fixed the emergency shut off valve for our water. Rescue Plumbers, Inc. in Victorville is the BEST in the high desert. We have needed their services a few times and each time was exceptional. We needed a French drain put in on our property due to flooding issues. This was a huge undertaking due to the desert soil. Very professional and hard working, and unbelievably CLEAN! I rent a house out in Victorville and my tenants called me about a leaking sink in the laundry room and the kitchen. Turns out they were clogged. Joe is the heart of that company he is their only employee for over a decade which makes that company as awesome as it is. But they do not pay him for holidays because they use a technicality for they do not have more than 10 employees which I think is so bogus Joe deserves much more hlanyone who has ever had service from rescue plumbers knows that Joe is awesome he deserves better.
