The solution to my septic plumbing ordeal began when I called Cisneros Bros. in the middle of the night meaning to leave a message, but surprisingly, after several calls (accidentally called several times in my stress) an actual person answered the phone. Nicole (who answered) must have guessed it was urgent even if after hours. The next day, I met Nathan Knapp who walked me through every single step the crew would take. (Thank you crew!). I was helping my parents with this -- their septic tank broke into a foul river of waste in their front yard. Neighbors called the city for help, we were cited to fix things immediately, and almost $18,000 later it has been fixed. I could not pay ANY company this amount without understanding what in fact they were fixing, how, and the different options. Apparently for many decades, we were not meeting city codes (we didn't know until this septic tank disaster). The cheaper options to "fix" the septic mess weren't really an option because the city citation did not allow the cheaper fixes, but also because we truly needed a major fix. Nathan and the crew (Jeff, Victor and Rogelio) were super hardworking at pumping out the tank and Victor luckily spoke Spanish who could better explain things to my dad. It's hard to pay a bill like this, but I recognize the value of it -- it was necessary, and I really don't think it would have been cheaper or done better by others. We passed the city codes with flying colors and we don't have to worry about a sinkhole or wastewater mess. So glad to have have a brand new seepage pit, new outlet lines etc.!

No charge. So Tad came out Friday and the heater was shot. Once he took the cover off I could see the water spewing on the inside when we turned the water to hot. The water damaged the copper and materials inside. We needed a new one. He provided the option for 2 kinds of tankless heaters. We chose the bigger one that has a 10 year warranty and a free flush after a year. We didn't know the heaters needed to be flushed every so often. We did troubleshooting wherever we could by shutting off water to the house, the toilets, the irrigation system....everything. We called one plumbing company but they said we needed leak detection which they didn't offer, so we zeroed in on Olson Plumbing and Leak Detection. Their website said there was no charge for leak detection, so we figured we couldn't lose. Not only were the two brothers Cody and Jeff at our house within 40 minutes, but they spent two hours searching every tap, wall, and pipe....to no avail. They finally started checking water pressure at hose bibs because there were no leaks to be found and lo and behold, one was registering 130+ psi which pinpointed a blown pressure regulator. The two brothers kept assuring us that they wouldn't quit until they'd diagnosed our problem and they weren't kidding. They got the city's water meter to quit spinning and we got a professional repair without having to even pay for all their diagnostic work. Since they'd scoured our house from top to bottom looking for leaks, we're now making plans for a bathtub to shower conversion since they do work like that too. Prompt, friendly, tenacious, knowledgeable, and professional, these brothers are our plumbers for life! I spent 45 minutes on hold waiting for Hesperia Water District to tell us how they knew there was a problem at the house, and I was told it was because our water bill was so high. The next day our 2 month water bill posted in email.....$5,000! You read it right FIVE THOUSAND dollars. Water is liquid gold in the High Desert.
