Fidel (owner) was…read morefriendly, professional, and knowledgeable, but he also could ease my frustrations with my horrible AAA experience. That is a NEGATIVE review on its own. The road to South Lake Tahoe was littered with dangerous potholes. Unfortunately, my rear tire was ripped open on the sidewall, and immediately rendered my car useless and stuck on the side of the road on US-50. AAA Roadside assistance left me in the 28-degree weather for 6 hours only to find out they could not assist for the entire day and to call back the next day. Fast forward to this morning at 7:09 am, I found Fidel on yelp with a good review similar to my current situation. I called, and he thankfully picked up on the first attempt. Fidel did not "beat around the bush or sugarcoat" anything. They gave me a price and an accurate time frame and communicated throughout the process. My car was at Amerca's Tire Company by noon; they were able to replace the tire the same day. And I got my car back by 4:00 pm today--all thanks to Fidel and his excellent service. Thank you again; I will update you if AAA reimburses my payment; Fidel gave me an itemized receipt which should work to get my money back. (AAA REIMBURSED Me with your assistance, thanks)

While my car was being towed, I clearly told the tow truck driver that I needed my vehicle to be taken to my home. He agreed. Before I left, I specifically asked him if he needed anything else from me. He told me no. I thanked him and left after also saying goodbye to the police officer who was still at the scene. About an hour later, when I called the number provided to me, I discovered that my vehicle had not been taken to my home as I had requested. Instead, it had been taken to the towing company's storage yard. Then I looked them online, after I found out so many incidents had happened involving this company I called them back, and and express my concern with all the alarming information about their services. The lady didn't care about what the community has to say about them. So, I decided to inform the police department,investigation team. What concerns me most is that I have received different explanations about why my vehicle was taken to their yard, which has made the situation even more scary and concerning. I was injured and relied on what the tow truck driver told me at the scene. The police department has to be aware of my experience because I believe they should carefully consider which towing companies they use for accident-related calls. My insurance company called them and asked why the car was in their location and not my location, they replied that was because I didn't have the money to pay them right at the scene of the accident. The driver didn't request payment upfront. I understand that towing companies have procedures, but customers should be given clear, honest, and consistent information--especially when they are injured and vulnerable after an accident. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this towing company and would strongly encourage the community to write a complete with the police department about incidents related to this company, the police department, need to stop doing business with this company, also I encourage you to inform the police department, investigation team about your experience with this company and also ask questions and document everything when dealing with them, very dishonest.
