He went and picked up all the parts from the dealer and then came straight to my house to do the work. I had my thermostat, thermostat housing, and water pump replaced all in one go. With kids and work, taking my car into a shop is always a pain, so having him come to me was a huge plus. His prices were about the same or cheaper than other quotes I got, which was awesome because it's basically like DoorDash for a mechanic--except he doesn't upcharge just for bringing the service to you. You can tell he really cares about doing quality work too--he even spent extra time cleaning up all the old oil and grease. No waiting rooms, no rides back and forth, just easy and stress-free. The road to South Lake Tahoe was littered with dangerous potholes. Unfortunately, my rear tire was ripped open on the sidewall, and immediately rendered my car useless and stuck on the side of the road on US-50. AAA Roadside assistance left me in the 28-degree weather for 6 hours only to find out they could not assist for the entire day and to call back the next day. Fast forward to this morning at 7:09 am, I found Fidel on yelp with a good review similar to my current situation. I called, and he thankfully picked up on the first attempt. Fidel did not "beat around the bush or sugarcoat" anything. They gave me a price and an accurate time frame and communicated throughout the process. My car was at Amerca's Tire Company by noon; they were able to replace the tire the same day. And I got my car back by 4:00 pm today--all thanks to Fidel and his excellent service. Gave him the area I was at and the exact location where my car was in the Church Parking lot. He got my car on his flatbed and towed me home two (2) miles from where I was stuck.
