They patched the tire and was kind of enough to give some recommendations which I know most places wouldn't but he still presented his concerns on why I should get a new or used tire. I ended up just patching it because I normally get my tires from another place. The patching wasn't expensive, it only cost me $25 but I was solid for a few days until my new tire was ordered. Fine, I needed it anyways since I'm in a time crunch and about to do traveling so I needed to do it. However my main issue was the cost. I paid 658$ for all 4 tires. Upon research, these budget tires average in cost of 356$ for all 4 tires. That is approximately 84% more than its actual value! If it wasn't for time constraints and emergent resolution I would've gone somewhere else. I just wish they were more reasonable with cost and not take advantage of emergent needs. I attached the exact model of the tires for your reference. I understand business needed to make money, if they charged me 400-500$ I'd probably be okay with it. But this isn't cool. We get there and as our tow truck driver leaves us and takes off, the guy on the phone wasn't even there, he's like big brother or the godfather, boss of everyone, but he never shows his face. The attendant is short and not nice as well, he says oh 150 for a new tire and that's it. He tells me to call the godfather to see if he'll go lower, to which he says ok 130. Like, prices shouldn't be negotiable, your product is what it is, that's a huge red flag. They attendant took a while to make me a receipt, just hands it to me and walks over to another customer that was there. No thank you, see you later or have a good night. Wonderful location here in Northridge, hats off to Sean and his hardworking team. America's Tire is the best tire shop in America, period. They are always, always busy and it's for good reason.
