They have a massive inventory of second hand, name brand, and overstock items. The space is poorly organized. Items are grouped by size and gender but that's about where the organization ends. Items are placed on racks and it's your responsibility to hunt through row by row, rack by rack. Pants skirts sweaters shirts all together. It took a good bit of time to work my way through the store. They did offer a plus size section, but this was also haphazardly organized. I came away with several treasures! Brand new and some brand name items. I didn't spend more than $20 for any single item. The tags offer an additional discount off the listed price up to 25,40, and even 80% off. Best part were the fitting rooms. Nothing worse than getting home with a pile of treasure that don't fit or look right. The staff seemed to be fairly limited. But they were friendly and helpful with questions and suggestions.

Ok great, I went right out, got the inserts as well as a new pair of Brooks shoes that the sales person recommended. I was very happy with the service and the sales persons knowledge of the products so I purchased both to the tune of approximately 310.00. After about 3 or 4 weeks of wearing them to work, I am a mail carrier, the little tabs on the toe of the shoes began to detach from the main body of the shoe and my feet started getting wet when it rained. Within 2 months the front of the shoe soles stared separating from the main shoe as seen in the picture. On Aug. 28th roughly 2-1/2 months later I went back to the store to ask for a replacement for these defective shoes. I was told point blank that I would have to purchase a new pair of shoes and that they would give me a 15% discount. I found this to be unacceptable and said so in a stern voice. I was then ganged up on by two employees at the same time. This was one of the worst examples of standing behind your product I have ever seen. Originally, I thought this establishment was extremely professional only to find out that their products are junk, and that they will not stand behind them. Therefore, I give Lori shoes the lowest grade that I can and will never give them my business again.

On the occasion I do shop for myself, I tend to enjoy t-shirts and hoodies. It just happens that the good people of SwedLife have plenty of those items. SwedLife hasn't been around very long but they make up for it with plenty of personality and style. The first thing you'll usually notice are the owners Lucas, Seth and Mark (the resident Style and Sneaker expert). They are very quick to offer assistance if you need anything or have questions. If you are not a person into sneakers, fitted hats or snapbacks then it can be a bit much. However, the gentlemen can put your fears at ease pretty quickly as they are very relaxed and patient. Also they have all sorts of choices size wise. The shop isn't a very large place but they make great use of the space and the walls are brimming with artwork done by local artists. As a fan of hip hop, I love that they are constantly playing the newest and greatest music from national and local artists. If you don't know about the local scene or the even the next show, they can fill you in pretty quickly. Also they Sneakerheads as well (aka Sneaker Collectors). They are all experts but Mark is your guy if you need to know about the latest and greatest. In regards to price, it's not a cheap place to shop sadly. You can easily drop some major cash here if you aren't careful. The brands they carry aren't cheap but they are usually the only ones that carry those brands. The alternative is that you can order online so it isn't a bad deal. All and all, SwedLife is in a prime location and has a lot going in regards to it's personality and fashion. Some people might not be into the music or even the style, but if you do graviate towards that style SwedLife is one of your best options in St. Louis.

That's girl math for you. What I love, other than the great deals are their work pants. There was only one brand who made work pants that fit me well, are comfortable but can be pricey. As recently as last year, I have found that Old Navy makes great work pants. The stretchy, comfortable types that feel like leggings but are loose enough to pass as real work pants. I love them and I have found them in my size at this very store. I even found a few at a really good deal (less than $10)! Not only that but Old Navy have upped their game in the athletic wear department. On my recent trip there, I found several leggings and workout top that looked and feels excellent. It is now a usual stop to peruse their athletic wear whenever I am in store. Checkout counter moves fairly quickly here. I haven't had to wait longer than maybe 5 minutes. Other associates are very helpful as well. I can't really complain! Great deals, nice people, this is definitely my go-to for bargain shopping.

Parking lot is huge as it is connected with other businesses. The entrance to enter Old Navy was a little weird as in the doors. I made my way in and it looks like any other Old Navy store. Huge with lots of items. I went to the checkout to pick up my Mobil order and it was quick and smooth. Cashier was nice and had no issues I used my old navy cash to benefit from the savings to get a better deal. I would return to this location if the one closer to me doesn't have what I need available.
